Lifetime wish won't complete.

I've just grown my 8th perfect plant for the Perfect Garden lifetime wish, so should now have completed this wish but nothing has happened. I've checked the lifetime happiness rewards and i've not been credited the relevant points. Is this a glitch? What normally happens when you complete a lifetime wish? I've never actually managed to complete one before! I really hope it's not a glitch as it's my Dynasty.

Simmum, when you hover with the mouse over the LTW icon, what does it said? ?/8 perfect plants? I usually get that LTW with 9 fully grown perfect plants in the garden at the same time.
When you do get it, the icon become greyed out, you get 7 days long moodlet worth +75, LTRP are accounted and message appear in the corner saying your Sims accomplish the LTW etc.

Thank you for your speedy reply  . When I hover over it it says 8/8 perfect plants. Oh dear, I really hope I don't need to grow 9 perfect plants as it means it'll take much longer and my founder is an elder in 2 days. I don't want to have to wait much longer before she can eat Ambrosia!

I've had this happen to me - I think it completed the wish the following day at 5 AM (when plant growth happens).

Lifetime Wishes sometimes are delayed for some reason.  Try exiting and restarting your game.

Thanks for your replies. It finally completed 2 days later at 5am. What a relief!!
