SENECA – CHAPTER SEVEN

Wow – as of today, I’m officially an adult. No mid-life crisis, which I’m heartily grateful for, as I don’t have time to keep examining my wrinkles in the mirror. I didn’t have a party – I just celebrated on the road with Bonnie, my new horse.

She is agile and obedient. Although we didn’t win our first race, I do have hopes for the future.

Beasley is coming along well – we won an Advanced Race the other day.

I feel that my progress is very slow, but Shawnee has done wonders in terms of preparing to make ambrosia. These are the life plants and deathflower bush that he has grown for me.

He has also caught a few deathfish.

I am very grateful to all the Foxes. Dakota has been developing his talents as a sculptor every moment that he’s not in school. He even skipped prom, saying he didn't have time for a girlfriend.

Cheyenne has taken over child care, preparing Cherokee for school.

Since Cherokee can sometimes be a handful, I am doubly grateful.

I am amazed at how quickly time goes by. Barrington has entered the ranks of elders.

And Kiowa, who used to be just a bump in her mother’s tummy, is now a lovely young lady.

Here she is in her formal,

Nightwear

And athletic.
