TS3 site offline?
« on: April 27, 2012, 02:44:50 PM »
Hey, is the Sims 3 site not working for any of y'all? I get the "Sorry! Could not process your request." message every time.

It's working for me. Before it was laggy and kept freezing. I've heard that they've been updating things on the site, the daily deals for one.  :)

Hmm… The site still isn't working for me. When I open the launcher it doesn't show on there either. :-\ Last time I played there was a sims store update, wonder if that would fix anything. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Firefox: won't load the website at all unless I switch to German, then it loads the main page but still won't load any Store or Exchange pages.

IE: works normally.

I've had this problem for at least two weeks now, and it really irritates me because I never use IE otherwise.

My web browser is Safari, specifically for Macs. I also have Firefox and Google Chrome, I'll try them!

Try pressing F5 to refresh the page.  Also, clear out your browser history and cache.

Something else you can try and I found this out just the other day, make sure your Adobe Flash Player and Air are up to date.  That made a big difference in the site coming in quickly. :)

Thank you so much for telling me how to get the site working again! I'm a Safari user myself, and I'm not sure which of the tips worked, but I updated my Flash player AND deleted all cookies and history pages :) Either way, it's working now! Haha, I haven't been able to see ANY of the new store items since the India compilation came out, so I'm pretty excited about the new stuff :)

Thank you!

You know what, I just updated my flash player yesterday morning, that must have been it! And I thought it was because I was using Firefox. Better check to make sure I can do it on my safari now. If not, gotta eat all my cookies! ;)

Edit: Still doesn't work on Safari. I deleted my cache files and history, not sure if the cache is the same as cookies?

@simlishlol

Hm, I'm a Safari user too, and it works for me after updating Flash and deleting cookies and browser data.
My menus are in Swedish, but I'll try to explain where I found the menu to delete cookies:
With Safari open, go to "Safari" - "Settings" and press the button on the top of this menu (it looks like a shadow outline of a person) it should be called something like "integrity protection" Haha, at least, that's the straight up swedish translation ;)

This is where you can delete cookies for websites.
After I did that, I also deleted some saved passwords and stuff in the "Autofill" menu.
I also searched through my browser history for anything related to Sims and deleted all pages that were connected to the TS3 site.

This was all done on a Macintosh, I'm not sure if you are a PC user or not. If you aren't, I could tell you the shortkeys for doing all these things :) Good luck!

Thank you Erythrocyte!

Haha, panicked for a second because I wasn't sure if I remembered my password. Now to test if it worked!

Edit: It didn't work :(

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. :/
Did you restart your computer after doing all those things?
I did, maybe that helped?

Also, have you tried, like Pam said, to press F5?
