Slanted stair walls
« on: May 04, 2013, 05:23:45 PM »
Is there any way to create/re-add the slanted walls that come with most staircases? Say, it was originally placed against a normal wall, but that wall was removed later, leaving the side of the stairs open?

If you replace the stairs the walls will appear again. Not sure if deleting and then undoing the deletion will work though? I've not tried that before, only the replacing the stairs method.

Any way to do it without deleting the stairs? I tried that, but these are basement stairs, and they do NOT want to be placed again, so I had to undo the bulldozing.

Ah, I don't know of any other way but someone else might. So bulldozing then undoing didn't fix the stairs either? Have you checked they won't be placed due to windows or furniture within two squares? I say two just to be sure, I sometimes get a diagonal plant pot or something that crosses into the area which blocks it.
