Is there a way to make sure your sims has twins?

I don't have enough LTR points to get the fertility treatment, and I've had the mom watch the kids channel and listen to kids music today. What I'm asking is:

Is there a way to know whether you are having twins or triplets?

I have name ideas but if I have triplets I won't know what to name the third child, and if I start up for naming a set of triplets and get twins I'll have to be short a name.

Any one know for sure how many kids you'll have before they are born?

It's never guaranteed as far as I can tell.   If the father and mother both have fertility treatment then it will most likely be triplets.  One parent has it then you're more likely(not guaranteed) to have twins.  The only way to guarantee you'll only have one child is to only have one spot left in the house.

But there are things that help: surrounding your sim in kid-related things, such as the pregnancy books and listening/watching kid shows and music.

Is it possible you are thinking of the Sims 2 cheesecake cheat?

Oh, really? I didn't know it was a cheat, I just heard that it supposedly helps. I don't really like having twins myself, so I try avoiding it at all costs haha
