My sim is in limbo

  I have been working on the achievement for 15 kids so I've been on this one family for a few days. I haven't had any problems so far and the last time I played I did cheat and I used make needs static, but no problems have been caused from that before. I saved and quit. Well when I opened my game today all is normal all cheats are off of course, I always enable testingcheats on before I choose a family at the menu screen and start, but upon opening my game one of my teens sims is invisible. It's kind of like when the adults go on vacation, you can't click on their portrait it won't let u. My sim does that only her picture isn't there at all. The family still has her under the relationships tab so she isn't dead but I can't find her. I've tried several variations of the reset sim cheat but I can never work it, my sims NEVER reset. I don't want to quit for fear of loosing her forever. I wasn't doing anything weird with her last time either. I think she had just got off of work. Help please!?

Did u mean your teen sim became invisible? If yes, try to make your sim to visit a rabbit hole (Bistro or Cinema etc.). Last time my simbot became invisible and recovered in this way. However, visiting rabbit hole like "tour the City Hall" didn't work. I think payment is a must like "Having Food at Bistro".

It sounds like your file might be corrupted. I'll let some better techies help you with specifics

No, when I said invisible I mean completely not there. Not that I couldn't see her. I couldn't click on her to make any interactions. I'm at a total loss. Thanks though.

To see if your file is corrupt you should read this thread. However quite a few problems like this seem to also be fixed by going into edit town, evicting your family and then placing them back on their lot, it's worked for a different bug for me, it may have worked for others on stuff like this but I'm not sure - worth a shot, as long as your file isn't corrupt. If it is try going back to a different back-up file if you have one.
