Sims entering my house without being invited.

Sims just randomly walk into my house and chat with me and they also come into my yard and fish in my pond. I did add some fish spawners in my pond with the debug menu. Could this be causing them to act as if my house is a community lot? It is a residential lot, even when I click go home my sims return here.

Some of the house built by EA have fish spawners, so I don't believe they would make fish spawners act like that.  Where is your sim's  house?

Have you tried locking the door to all but residents? Did you build the house yourself? If you did, what door is set as your front door. I know that the front door determines where your Sim goes when they go home, maybe if it's to a room within the house, visitors might not consider themselves in your house unless they actually go through that door. The only way to keep them out of the yard would probably be a fence and locked gate.

Are you a [StoryProgression] user ?  I have read reports of that issue from other users of that mod.

Yes, I am using story progression. That could be it, I have actually started a new town now so I don't really have this issue [so far].
