Ok, first of all, my mistake -- he's actually only level 7 Wingman, not level 9. I guess I was impressed by the uniform! He still makes good pay even at level 7; he earns 306 simoleons per hour and he works 3 days a week. Hope that helps :)

Looking at my screen I see another mistake - Level 7 is Fighter Pilot, not Wingman. But the rest of the info is correct. Sorry for the (multiple) confusion!

Thanks for that! Isn't that what chef's get at lvl 10 of their career, as well?
Because of the high pay I love the Military career. It's also easy to accomplish if you learnt some Athletics and Handiness skill points! ;)

Its useful if you have a large family. You get a lot of money for little hours. And if you have little sims to look after theres more suitable times to do it with this career!

Yes, that's exactly right. Like I said on the post above, I'm pretty sure that when chef's get at lvl 10 of their career, the military people are having a MUCH higher pay than that at like Level 6 or 7+.

Well, my sim is now at level 10 of the military career, which means he's an astronaut. He works one day a week, and today he made 10,000 simoleons on that one day. I suppose he'll make more when he gets promoted. Just thought I'd pass that along. Now he'll have time to start that family he's been thinking about...

Good luck Emily! You'll have fun. It didn't take me long to get him promoted. One word of advice: when he or she works that one day, it's a very long day, from 7 am to 1 am. Make sure your sim gets lots of sleep the night before.

Yes, the military career isn't that hard to get promoted in. Especially if you've already learnt a few levels of athletics and handiness, the promotions will fly by! I think that's the right saying...  :-\

My Sim went up through the military career and it's been great as she's a single mum and being an astronaut means she only works one day a week. She seems to have been on maternity leave forever though and hasn't been to work in weeks but is still getting paid! She also paints and gets around 5,000 a day from doing a couple of paintings (she's at level 10).

I'm steadily buying up all the businesses in town and making shed loads of money.  8)
