What is a Warp/ Uber Warp Well?

I'm trying to create a tomb for the first time and when I placed a well and used the testingcheatsenabled true cheat to edit the settings. One of the options was "make this a warp well" and "make this an uber warp well." Could someone explain what this is? I'm thinking its some kind of time warp? I was going to try testing but i don't want to risk something happening to my Sim that I can't undo. I did a quick search of the forum and couldn't find anything on this but if I'm wrong, please let me know. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum.
I am quite sure that warping sets a connection between two wells so a Sim can travel between them.
It is used as a transportation system in tombs.

Warp Well: This links the well with the closest well on the same floor. A Sim will dive into Well A, and come out at Well B, or whatever the nearest well is.

Uber Warp Well: This links the well to a specific well. The destination well must have a name, which can be set by Ctrl+Clicking the well, and choosing "Name Well" (or something similar).
