Never mind then. I thought skins fell under Custom Content, like the hairs and say, a cool bed.

I don't know whether they do fall under CC or Mods. Sliders don't but Skins I don't know, maybe just default replacements?

I see what you're saying now. Either way, I think they look really creepy. That's my personal opinion though. Sims look so much better when they actually look like Sims. Even UC's Barbie doesn't come with slider hacks or default replacements.  :P

All I can say it "To each their own". Some of us like CC and some don't.

Lol. I guess mine really looked messed up to some people! I always use default skin replacements, slider hacks, and loads of CC. Its interesting to see how much I think it looks cool, but others think its not so cool. I actually LIKE that people have different opinions. Makes life so much more interesting ;)

IMO though, when I don't use these things, by the 3rd or 4th generation, all sims pretty much seem to be a carbon copy of each other. I guess because I like variety so much, I prefer to use these others things.

To the OP, you should probably just experiment with it a little and see if you like it. If you don't, no harm, just remove it!

I agree. I think it's all up to the personal preference of the player. I personally don't feel the need to add extra, or put in mods to make my Sims look "pretty" or "perfect." I like the way the Sims look now, and what's harsh on the eyes to some, is interesting to me, al la Grisby Family.

It's all on how much disc space your game can take too.

EDIT: Come to think of it, I do have custom skins in TS2. However, the ones I use, still manage to look like normal EA Sims, but in different colors of the rainbow. I even have an orange tan skintone, for laughs. ^-^
