Where can I find some strays in Sunset Valley?

Hello All!

I'm new to this forum, but not new to sims. I've started a legacy and I fell in love with my spare for the second generation and I'm planning on letting him live in the legacy household as long as possible. His lifetime wish is to adopt six strays. There have been strays coming up to my legacy household for ages! But now that my sim has this want, I haven't seen a single stray anywhere! Anyone know where I could find some he could befriend and adopt?

Welcome to the forum!

The only strays I ever see come to my house but that LTW is also able to be completed by adopting animals from houses around the neighborhood as well.

Unless something has changed, pets adopted through the newspaper or telephone from the shelter also count.

Adopting from neighbors definitely counted. I'll try adopting from the shelter and see if it makes his count go up. Of course, as soon as I sent him to the neighbors house to adopt, a stray dog walked on my lot. Then it ran away, and I can't find strays again. Sheesh. But thank you, I'll try the shelter and see if it'll count.
