What's Your Way to Play?

I am getting a version of the sims game soon and want to know which is the best way to play!

Personally, I use PC. Not interested in spending extra bucks for X-box, etc. I have a PC, and don't need the others. I can hook my game up to my big screen HD-TV and play that way from my computer.

I've been moving a lot of your threads to keep the forum tidy.  I also want you to know that I removed the poll from this thread.  Polls are used by the moderators to gain specific information or for contests only. 


Just so you know there is absolutely no difference between Mac and PC play.   It's the same game with all the same components.   Carl keeps a very informative guide that covers a lot of the basics for newbies to the game.  I recommend taking the time to read them and introduce yourself to the mechanics so when you do get the game, you won't feel overwhelmed.

Now the poll has been removed, the object of his/her post is completely void. There's nothing in the rules about polls, and there are quite a few polls not created by mods (but weren't removed).

The way I play, assuming you mean what strategy I play, entirely depends on what I want to achieve from my sim/s.

I like to make a legacy.  Not for competition or anything, or even not using cheats.  I don't even keep points!  I do it purely for fun.  But, the farthest I ever got on a legacy was generation 5. But it's really your choice.
