Try using a birthday cake.

Once you drink the potion your stuck with it. You can age up with the birthday cake but there's no way to remove the effect.

Simstar if you use testingcheats you could try "edit in CAS" and change age that way. I haven't tried it but it could work :-\

This is why I still prefer ambrosia. Its not Permanent if you happen to change your mind.
