Title: Can't find Pomegranates

Guys, I have a situation.

My Sim just arrived in France for an 11-day long vacation. On the second day, he gets a quest which ends up requiring 5 pomegranates which are found in Egypt. I checked the cafeteria, there weren't any. So, now I can't quest for the remaining 9 days? Unless I cancel this one, not knowing when it'll pop up again - or will that even work, now that I have made some progress with it? Should I really cancel the vacation after just two days? :o

Any suggestions that won't state I'm an idiot for not bringing pomegranates?

Apparently there is at least one pomegranate tree in France:
