Title: Painting Glitch
Post by: 5Dollars on June 27, 2016, 11:39:13 PM
Recently I created a sim who is an artist by day and klepto at night, but when I try to paint my sim will do the action from their spot, not moving at all. The painting is completed, but my sim didn't go anywhere near the easel. Could it be a cc glitch? If you have any information please reply, thanks so much!

Sounds very much like a cc glitch. Try removing the mods folder, deleting the localthumbcache.package file from your TheSims4 folder and open your game again.

If it is a normal painting animation then you'll know it is a cc/mods issue. Quit without saving or all your sims will be saved in a cc-less state.

You can then start figuring out which cc/mod is causing the issue.

I have a similar problem. My Sims weed in place. I started the game on a new computer, and still have the problem. Weeding hasn't worked right, for quite a while. Sims no longer automatically go from plant to plant. Here is a new Sim weeding a chess table.

@CuriousSim that is a known bug but I can't link to the bug report just now. I'll come back and link that up tomorrow for you. Least it's just an animation and the plants still get cared for I guess.  :-\  It's interesting how the old bugs resurface. I had this weeding bug in my very first dynasty attempt.

*edit:

Here's the bug thread link (http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4-Bug-Reports/Re-OPENED-Sims-weed-objects/td-p/3582795), as always adding a 'me too' helps bring it to the devs notice sooner.
