Title: [BUG] Items crafted on woodworking table looks like a shield in inventory -Fixed

Sense the last patch anything my sims make on the woodworking table has a icon that looks like a black and white version of Captain America's shield instead of looking like the item made when it's in the personal inventory. Any thing that goes into the family inventory looks like it should.
I've tried everything short of a complete reinstall to fix it. Is anyone else having this happening.


July-14-2016 - The wood working icons were address in Patch 1.21.

It happens with paintings, too. But for paintings you get a palette and paintbrush. They do go back to being the painting your sim made when hung on a wall. At least with the woodworked items, you're told what they are.

I have had this problem, since the last update. Since I don't woodwork that often, I didn't realize the scope of the problem. I thought it was just older crafted things, that were incompatible with the update.

Yes... there have been quite a few reports of this across the other simming web sites too.  :-\  Guess it's the latest bug.

Ok, that's good to know. I haven't done any painting sense the update so I didn't know it effected that also.

I saw that bug too. Can't rely on visual anymore. Have to hover and read descriptions of the objects before pacing them on the lot.

Just noticed that if they are using a crafted item like the guitar or a mirror it shows the same shield icon in their current action bar also.

Yea they do. It irritates me to see it. I hope this gets fixed soon.

This seems to be a universal issue. All woodworking items seem to show up this way now. I wasn't sure if it was a bug or a deliberate change, because it started after the most recent patch. I figured they didn't want to make new thumbnails, so they took the lazy way out. :) The items do function normally though. This is just an inventory graphical issue, so it's not a huge deal game play wise.
