@Ferretmania, thanks. I was pretty disappointed to have made such a silly mistake, but that's who it all rolls eh. I think Winston's having way too much fun... time for some hard work really soon! Poor guy, it'll be a shock to his system. lol :P
@Cristina, I'm a bit hooked on this sim to be honest. I did start my second attempt with a brand new sim, but it just wasn't the same! So here we go again! ;D

Well, serial romantic did make sense... I needed enough points to get the 'Connections' reward to give him a kick start with his career. As well as nooboos in every filled house so that I can stave off empty world syndrome like my first dynasty suffered from. I also wanted him to max out charisma which he's done thanks to buying the "Great Kisser" reward. I'll use a helper to errr... make extra nooboos with townies as needed but it seemed crazy to 'give' those points away when Winston needed them.
I'm glad it wasn't too shocking a start to the dynasty. I did toy around with the idea of doing this all 'behind the scenes' as it were and just start the story from when he begins to move in helpers but at the end of the day I like the story to be true to my game play.
So yes, to answer you Nettlejuice Zoe, is pregnant to Dude, as are most of the other sims he kissed. His family tree is pretty dynamic! So... I wonder how I'm going to get him to settle down? Hmmm... maybe Weston can help with that. Oh, and isn't it just my luck to get a sim who's name is nearly the same as Winstons? ::)

Ooh, I thought an intended immortal couldn't pollinate until after the heir was born, I may be thinking about TS3. Looking forward to some Winston nooboos!

@Nettlejuice , well unless that is an unspoken rule... it's certainly not IN the rules as far as I can see and because I've never done a TS3 dynasty I'd never even heard of that rule.... so If it is a thing, well I've just blown my second dynasty attempt then. :(
@audbooh , I so hope I'm not hit with bugs this time around! Well, as long as I haven't broken the rule with the serial romantic aspiration it does make sense!

Considering that these two rules:
- The firstborn child through natural pregnancy of any generation is the targeted Immortal. In the event a pregnancy results in twins or triplets, then the first named child is the next Immortal.
- Heirs must result from natural pregnancies where both parents are living in the Dynasty house.
...were direct lifts from the TS3 Immortal Dynasty ruleset, which indeed prohibited having extra kids until the heir was born...I don't like giving the "you failed!" news, okay? :(

@Trip I don't mind that I've failed as much as the rules don't actually say that you can't use your heir until to populate the town until he has had his own qualifying heir. I'm not intending to use any of these nooboos as an heir. These were just background kids to make sure the houses stayed full... So really the rules need to be clearer. Because the rules state that both the parent must be in the house, I just assumed that if they weren't then that isn't the heir... Oh well.
Delete this story then and I'll give it another go. It's all a learning curve. :)

Well, how can an heir be the firstborn of a generation if their immortal parent has already had children? Doesn't matter where they are. But I'm gonna bring the rule's wording up to the Team regardless.

It's ok... I just didn't read the rule that way. I mean it's obvious once you know but like I said I just assumed that any children born outside the house would be disqualified for heir and so didn't count. Not a problem. :)
