Title: Twilight Dynasty - Please Move to Graveyard
Post by: azokka361 on October 12, 2014, 04:00:43 PM
In the Beginning . . .

. . . there were two strange children.

Their names were Thana Azokka and Ilene Azokka. One was darkness, one was light, and both were eternal, easily distracted children who spent their lives playing with their creations, one out of desire for control, the other simply wanting to bring a little more joy into the world.

For several hundred years the sisters were separated in an attempt by Ilene to complete an immortal dynasty and, somehow, teach Thana a little restraint. The former region was met with resounding success, the latter--well, Thana assembled an alien army and nearly conquered the world. Her evil general was stopped only by the unstoppable epicness of butterfly astronaut Mikayla Elysi.

It took several hundred years for Ilene to be reunited with Thana, and the good child was alarmed to find that the evil girl was up to new tricks: tormenting the Moonstone family, organizing the criminal underground of Sunlit Tides, camping her force in Lunar Lakes--after dismantling her sister's organizations, Ilene proposed a new outlet for their energies: another immortal dynasty.

It would be a mixture of darkness and light, the work of the two children--with a little help from their butlers and commanders, of course.

The founder was created, town selected, and the dynasty commenced--after a game of tag.

And so Dalya Twilight was unceremoniously dropped into a depressingly beautiful isolated town.

(http://i1363.photobucket.com/albums/r712/azokka00/Moon%2035/Moon3589_zps46900090.jpg) (http://s1363.photobucket.com/user/azokka00/media/Moon%2035/Moon3589_zps46900090.jpg.html)

That's how I ended up here. Apparently.

"Dalya," a voice echoed, "welcome to Midnight Hollow. You know the rules--you and your kid will live forever while everyone you love dies, lots of long nights sculpting alone, no family time whatsoever, at a certain point I'm going to put you in the basement and you'll just watch a lot of black-and-white romance movies and reminisce about the good old days--"

"Thana!" another voice reproached. "Dalya, dear, don't worry about a thing, we've done this before. Except that this time instead of moving in a legion of helpers you're going to have to rely on your spouse and children to take care of all the dynasty stuff. Just avoid the vampires and you'll be just fine."

"What?! Everyone else gets a helper!" I shouted. "What am I, a dirt particle? Or a vampire? Don't you dare treat me like a vampire!"

"By the fires of Magmarath, you've given it a fixation," the first chimed in. "It's the butterfly fool all over again! First the aliens, now vampires, I feel like you're just targeting my side of the occult at this point--"

"Ciao, sweetheart! Thana, do you want to zoom over to Isla? You know Bree throws a great party . . ." The voices faded away, leaving me alone.

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi1_zpsee18e895.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi1_zpsee18e895.jpg.html)

  "Oh dear," I sighed. "I suppose it's time to get down to business . . . to defeat . . . the sun . . ."

The hunt for the quest of the vampire begins at Twilight.

  Not the novels.

  Hsssss.

Title: A Bat and a Moon Passing in the Ship

Thank you, everyone who commented! Apologies for the huge gap between the first post and this one, and hopefully future posts will not be so greatly spaced out since the school workload is decreasing. (And ManiSims, it is a combination of Azula and Sokka. Pretty magical, right?)

A Bat and A Moon Passing in the Ship

Hello! Dalya Twilight here, (testing testing bat ears seal) in the Twilight Dynasty! I have been in Midnight Hollow, a magical world of vaguely different shades of grey, for approximately 10 minutes. Finally, it became prudent to find a husband.

Such luck! At the park lay a group of roommates, three of whom were male, and two of whom were good-looking. One of them was younger, and he had great potential to be pretty . . . but . . .

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi16_zpsfb318422.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi16_zpsfb318422.jpg.html)

Every step you take . . . every move you make . . . I'll be watching you.

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi12_zpsa60dbec9.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi12_zpsa60dbec9.jpg.html)

"Hello mortal. How doth your life goeth?"

He looked vaguely uncomfortable and leaned away slightly. It's going well!

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi13_zps84954151.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi13_zps84954151.jpg.html)

"For realsies, I'm Dalya Twilight. Purple hair extraordinaire, at your service. Soooo what's your moniker little bird?"

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi14_zps8e0b3d4c.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi14_zps8e0b3d4c.jpg.html)

Again, his face changed--this time to a little incredulity followed by a smile. "I am Hyun-Moon, at your service, Ms. Twilight. Are you new to Midnight Hollow?"

"In physicality, if not spirit."

"Yes, this place tends to attract the . . . strange and wonderful."

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi15_zpsa72aceaa.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi15_zpsa72aceaa.jpg.html)

"Well," I dragged it to the point, "why don't you watch this cat video, then we can discuss the city's sights over at my place?"

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi17_zps6bd13d57.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi17_zps6bd13d57.jpg.html)

Once we made it back to the lot, it was merely a game of cat and mouse.

"Look, Moony, you're pretty cute but if I can't have a legion of indentured helpers I'm going to need a spouse immediately, and the Watchers don't really care if it's you or the toymaker. So, what do you say?"

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi18_zps4d6cf339.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi18_zps4d6cf339.jpg.html)

His answer was simplicity itself.

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi110_zps1701baf0.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi110_zps1701baf0.jpg.html)

I suppose I'm lovable like that.

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi113_zpsecc4b8e6.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi113_zpsecc4b8e6.jpg.html)

I couldn't be sure that Hyun-Moon would have been my first choice if my life wasn't a dynasty, but I could know that I wasn't sorry to have him by my side today.

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi114_zps7722bbf6.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi114_zps7722bbf6.jpg.html)

"So, Moony, why don't I use your money to build a hovel then I can sleep while you start painting?"

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi115_zps64c65edd.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi115_zps64c65edd.jpg.html)

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi116_zpsbcf68681.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi116_zpsbcf68681.jpg.html)

It didn't take long (three hours, at a guess) for the paparazzi to figure out about Hyun-Moon's change in residence. Because of Moony's position in the popular band Stars on Earth wild speculation surfaced: the band was breaking up, Hyun-Moon's long-lost relative had shown up, and--finally--they found out about Ms. Dalya Twilight.

Unfortunately there weren't a whole lot of walls.

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi117_zpse34b67ce.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi117_zpse34b67ce.jpg.html)

The next few days passed easy-peasy pumpkin pie. I joined the business corporation in town, bought a sculpting station, and ate a lot of cereal. Hyun-Moon rarely slept or ate, so we were truly a bat and moon passing in the ship.

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi123_zpsc8b31839.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi123_zpsc8b31839.jpg.html)

Finally, I insisted on a night on the town, and we splurged on a lovely dinner at the local bistro.

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi148_zps41cb9a23.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi148_zps41cb9a23.jpg.html)

To be honest, after the initial ooooh I was experiencing a little ehhhh--should I really marry the man or just have a kid and cordial friendship? Contrary to popular belief, I am not one to rush into things--but thirty seconds into the date decided the matter for me.

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi149_zpsc6207c4b.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi149_zpsc6207c4b.jpg.html)

I dropped to one knee, pulled out the little black box, and opened it.

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi150_zps69d929c5.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi150_zps69d929c5.jpg.html)

"Now can't you see that you belong to me?"

"What?"

"Never mind, just marry me!"

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi151_zpsace9ef45.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi151_zpsace9ef45.jpg.html)

I regretted nothing.

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi152_zps12c54383.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi152_zps12c54383.jpg.html)

And Moony was right: after the initial ehhhh, Midnight Hollow had become aaah. The beautiful mist, mysterious trees, red sunsets and scarlet moon--it was intoxicating.

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi157_zps7cf5dfef.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi157_zps7cf5dfef.jpg.html)

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi158_zps2b89c06f.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi158_zps2b89c06f.jpg.html)

Several days after the proposal, I came home to a real house, with walls and furniture and a shower and stuff! I took this as a sign that it was time to seal the deal.

Someday I'll have an immortal who doesn't end up happy in love . . . someday . . .

Hyun-Moon is gorgeous and I always pick him as a spouse. Poor Nadia looks like she's trying to get his attention but Dalya wins  ;)

He's a great option for a spouse anyway, and brings a lot to the table in genetics as a bonus!  I've barely played Midnight Hollow but it's been really fun so far and the townies are brilliant!

Hurray for love and the beginnings of a proper house! :D

And wow does Midnight Hollow look nice during a rainstorm.

Hurray indeed! The worst thing about having money in a dynasty is the obligation to build stuff! Building stuff is not a magical time! Yayyy . . .

It's really gorgeous! The whole romantic gothic dark vibe that I'm into.

Pure Devine excellence (as if that were a suprise see as how it's you  ;) ) Great to have you back Azokka.

Thank you very much ;) and it's great to be back! Sorry it took me so long!
Title: Is Someone Crying?
Post by: azokka361 on November 03, 2014, 08:05:08 PM
Is Someone Crying?

The ceremony was short, simple, and elegant--which is a generous way of saying that we stood in a field in formalwear at around midnight and exchanged rings before heading in.

Hyun-Moon and I said a few words--nothing particularly notable, just "I don't know why we're not doing this in the morning," "It's so romantic," "Okay then," "Always one step ahead of the vampires," "Love you," et cetera.

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi166_zps7223f757.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi166_zps7223f757.jpg.html)

His ring was made out of owl tears and the glimmer of the sun on steel.

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi167_zps1c680956.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi167_zps1c680956.jpg.html)

Mine was spun from moonbeams and the dreams of mist.

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi168_zps491ca9db.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi168_zps491ca9db.jpg.html)

And then we kissed.

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi169_zps515cadb2.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi169_zps515cadb2.jpg.html)

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi170_zps411d6c5e.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi170_zps411d6c5e.jpg.html)

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi171_zpsf9b3fb85.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi171_zpsf9b3fb85.jpg.html)

It was a sparkling night under a red moon, and we fell asleep happy. And peaceful. And safe. But for the first time, with dreams flitting by in slivers of glass, I felt the weight of immortality settle on my shoulders--one day I would be alone in this bed, and would remain alone for a very long time, maybe forever.

Life is not always such a happy time.

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi174_zpse140f776.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi174_zpse140f776.jpg.html)

The next morning I started sculpting in earnest, wielding the hammer and chisel with the strength of a mammoth and fire of a lemur.

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi177_zpsc1c0e0fc.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi177_zpsc1c0e0fc.jpg.html)

Moony soon joined me in the art room--

"Hey former roommate Young Jae, I'm . . . sick. Very sick, yes. My hypolungtiritisafalcon is acting up--but I'll still come! Yes! No? But I--okay, fine, I'll stay home. With pay. Mkay? Bye!"

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi179_zps29972a2e.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi179_zps29972a2e.jpg.html)

As we spent more time in close proximity we started feeling friskier--

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi182_zps962fe1c0.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi182_zps962fe1c0.jpg.html)

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi183_zpsdc6371ca.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi183_zpsdc6371ca.jpg.html)

Until I rolled out of bed in an unflattering yellow dress (but who am I kidding I looked enchanting you fools) and started eating watermelons.

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi185_zps05d586a3.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi185_zps05d586a3.jpg.html)

Unfortunately Hyun-Moon only finished learning to sculpt in immortal ice when I was in the bloom of pregnancy! I still posed, of course, and looked rather intimidating in the bargain.

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi186_zps1373ed26.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi186_zps1373ed26.jpg.html)

Later that day I felt a slight tingling in my abdomen . . .

"Aiiiii!"

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi188_zps45499ef3.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi188_zps45499ef3.jpg.html)

"Ooooka oooka ooooka!

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi189_zpsa5b40cb6.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi189_zpsa5b40cb6.jpg.html)

"Moony! Moony cooooome!"

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi190_zpsc37f45d0.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi190_zpsc37f45d0.jpg.html)

"Down by the bay . . . where the watermelons grow . . . back to my home . . . I dare not go . . . for if I do . . . my mother will say: Have you ever seen a pear, ready to swear--"

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi191_zps9011cba3.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi191_zps9011cba3.jpg.html)

And then this happened.

"Ah . . . Moony? I need you a little bit . . ."

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi196_zpse5450e81.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi196_zpse5450e81.jpg.html)

"So . . . triplets."

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi199_zps8d87fac1.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi199_zps8d87fac1.jpg.html)

"Indeed."

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi198_zps008211f1.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi198_zps008211f1.jpg.html)

"Okay then."

"Is someone crying?"

"Yes."

'Twas a question that would echo exceptionally often over the next few years.

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi197_zps7750eac1.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi197_zps7750eac1.jpg.html)

Thus we came to own three beautiful, magical, enchanting daughters: Sasha, Mae, and Alice. We're going to do that thing where we won't tell you who's the heir for a really long time and you'll become attached to the wrong ones and then it'll be like   ??? :o :( >:( :'(.

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi1101_zpsd4ad2154.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi1101_zpsd4ad2154.jpg.html)

Keeping our girls happy, fed, and clean was a constant uphill battle--two exhausted diaper-wielding bat-and-moon against a butterfly, a kitten, and a dove with flames coming out of their eyes.

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi1102_zps8dcf0e0f.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi1102_zps8dcf0e0f.jpg.html)

But we were nearly-close-to-being-halfway-equal to the challenge.

I'd say you're evil for not disclosing the heiress, but you're suffering enough with triplets in your game, so I'll let it slide. :P

Yay, triplets. Did you aim for them or did you want twins instead? I love not knowing who the heiress is.

I actually have a lot of practice with triplets in Sims: in every non-dynasty game they seem to constantly pop up . . . but that doesn't make it any less painful I assure you!

Yay, triplets. Did you aim for them or did you want twins instead? I love not knowing who the heiress is.

I was aiming for triplets since there's space in the beginning and I need some serious manpower to get off the ground. Me too! Although the heiress never does seem to be my favorite . . .

Peace--Sort Of

In two days, we were tired but functioning. At three, tense. Four: exhaustion, irritability, desperation. Then . . .

"How are you my mist flower?"

"Marvelous, Moony. Simply marvelous."

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi1105_zps1dcdb4f4.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi1105_zps1dcdb4f4.jpg.html)

"Isn't it wonderful that we can have a babysitter come over here at night?"

"And lock them in."

"Oh, yes. You let him out this morning, right?"

"Of course. Listen to how quiet they are!"

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi1106_zpse097d55f.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi1106_zpse097d55f.jpg.html)

The children were likely silenced by horror rather than the babysitter's night-long escape attempts. But at a certain point peace in the house is like getting your child a dog: you don't care what it looks like as long as the excrement is disposed of and hair vacuumed. Okay, I know, I'm too tired to make an analogy! It's what the vampires want . . .

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi1108_zps981ffd7d.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi1108_zps981ffd7d.jpg.html)

Hyun-Moon and I celebrated our birthdays quietly only a few days apart. I looked practically vampiric (BAD), but he only imp--okay, he didn't improve, but he still looks rockmazing.

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Age-UpCollage_zpsc4c6c369.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Age-UpCollage_zpsc4c6c369.jpg.html)

Our birthdays, and the girls' immediately following, were extremely low-key affairs: we were all too tired to really put on the effort, and juggling three babies is not as easy as it sounds! But Moony and I spent a more than appropriate amount of time oohing and aaahing over our little flowers.

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Collages/PicMonkeyCollage_zps2c6785b1.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Collages/PicMonkeyCollage_zps2c6785b1.jpg.html)

If we thought having baby triplets was difficult, we had no idea what was in store once they became toddlers! On top of that my business career was really taking off and Hyun-Moon was thinking about going back to work for realsies.

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi1124_zpsed656380.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi1124_zpsed656380.jpg.html)

Our sleep cycles were thrown off, with two adults and three toddlers to train in three skills and otherwise be cleaned, fed, and snuggled.

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi1129_zps0841c01d.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi1129_zps0841c01d.jpg.html)

The potty training alone . . .

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/PicMonkeyCollage_zps05183218.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/PicMonkeyCollage_zps05183218.jpg.html)

But was it all worth it?

Eh . . . maybe. Give it a year then get back to me.

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi1126_zpsfcac35ee.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi1126_zpsfcac35ee.jpg.html)

I must admit that my heart melted whenever I looked down at my girls playing in their own little world. Sweet, imaginative Alice . . .

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi1140_zpsa315e38f.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi1140_zpsa315e38f.jpg.html)

Sasha the reckless elf-like creature . . .

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi1139_zps5dcdb9ba.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi1139_zps5dcdb9ba.jpg.html)

And of course shy, sensible Mae.

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi1125_zps10b987e1.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi1125_zps10b987e1.jpg.html)

Whatever the problems with daily life, it certainly did fly by! Before I knew it I looked out the window to see snow falling over the valley. Before long, the grey was transformed to a sparkling white wonderland.

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi1136_zps0cfd6b32.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi1136_zps0cfd6b32.jpg.html)

One night, at around midnight-thirty, Moony and I ran to the store, bought several hundred pounds of colored lights, and strung them up over the house.

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi1137_zps59c465ee.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi1137_zps59c465ee.jpg.html)

After we were finished, we ran back into the house and cuddled on the couch for a few minutes, simply enjoying each other's company. It felt wonderful just to sit for a moment and be at peace.

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi1143_zps97565db6.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi1143_zps97565db6.jpg.html)

Sort of.

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi1142_zps873dfcf7.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi1142_zps873dfcf7.jpg.html)

Hyun-Moon, with his usual gentleness, picked Mae up and carried her into the nursery. I could hear him wishing the girls goodnight as I got us both some PB&J from the fridge.

(http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a541/rlane361/Twi%201/Twi1145_zps92174c45.jpg) (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/rlane361/media/Twi%201/Twi1145_zps92174c45.jpg.html)

At last the girls' birthday arrived! We invited over all of my coworkers, bought a few cakes, and watched our children transform.

Okay, so somehow you sneaked multiple updates past me, but I'll let that pass.

I love the cuteness of the bat and moon passing in the ship. Dalya's a bit insane, isn't she? In England, a bird is a woman, so her calling him little bird was pretty funny. It's sad he's so old and he's going to die! But wow does he have good genes! So I suppose he's worth it. Triplets, yeah, I can see when you don't have helpers how you'd need more children. But really, they didn't have to be born all at once!

I can never cope with triplets, I just can't. Every time I try I wind up turning on testingcheatsenabled. My favorite so far is Alice, I love her coloring and...where did she get blonde hair?  ???  It still looks nice with her skin tone.  ;D

Okay, bad news (which is [let's face it] pretty much the norm):

I turned on the computer to find my Twilight file entirely (to be straightforward) jacked up. I believe it's because of something my sister did on the unfortunately community computer; however, it was doing a weird thing where all the buildings cast giant grey shadows that blocked out everything and were static and generally made the whole thing unplayable. I literally couldn't see anything beyond the tiny beacon that was the home lot.

Anyway, since we're hardly invested in the game at this point and my Internet probing has yielded nothing, I've decided to just let it go. Besides, maybe it's time to move on from Immortal Dynasties: they're fun, but after having so much fun with the Elysi's (that was pretty much my peak in this area) it's difficult to really enjoy a remake. So! Might be that I'll see some of you on the Life States board if that catches my fancy.

Until then, thank you all so much for your support and comments! And my sincere apologies for leading you on like this; the Twilights were actually a lot of fun, but technology is either trying to lead me in the right direction (I mean, if not for all the technological whyyy of the past the Elysi's would have been a thing, right?) or it just hates me. Mhm.

So, again, thank you very much! This thread will be moved to the graveyard in a couple days.
