I get the same feeling. Great looking house! :D
When I do start playing, like making a family and such, I'd utilise some of these houses. I want a sort of theme for the different worlds. I'm not too happy with the "trailer homes" that maxis placed. :(

You could easily extend the left wall into the patio area as well to give a bit more inside living space.  I love the new build mode.
