Title: Blue Heaven - 3 bedroom house
Post by: Twinmum on September 10, 2014, 06:20:12 AM
Item name:  Blue Heaven
By (origin ID):  Oz-Twinmum
Hashtags:   carlsguide, Twinmum

Lot size 20 x 15
Furnished price § 38,102 **Note: this is the price that my sim would have paid if she bought it furnished, however, in the Gallery it says the value is §42,395
Unfurnished price: § 16,570

Bedrooms: 3
bathroom: 2 1/2

My first house upload to the Gallery. It was supposed to be a starter house, but with barely any furniture and no lighting, I couldn't get it under 20,000. I liked it too much to try and modify it to bring the price down, so I changed direction with it.

Please note: Before sharing, all my builds are thouroughly Sim tested to check that all items are usable and everything looks right. If however, you find I have missed something (I have been known to place windows the wrong way), please let me know so that I can recitfy the problem.

Very nice! I think that might just be what one of my sim families is looking for. I'm a terrible builder, you would cry at the monstrosity I've given them :D

I know what you mean, callycat. I rarely put pictures of my homes in guides, just because they are just that - monstrosities. I try to make it look decent, shaping the roof and all, but it seems like it's missing something that homes like the 3 already shared have... they look real, and no one would build a home that looks like what I come up with. I suppose I need to spend more time thinking on what is wrong with my basic 1-story homes.

Carl, you should just find a couple of houses you like in the Gallery and use those. It's so easy to import them into your game now, just a few clicks of the mouse and you have a nice looking house for your Sim. There are some really good ones for under 20k too!

I love the style and simplicity of this house. It will really fit into Williow Creek, too. Very nice job!
