Title: My Sims are not affected by weather conditions

My Sims don't seem to be affected by any weather condition except for getting soaked when it rains and usually changing to Outerwear in winter. But they never get the heat or cold related moodlets, don't even tan, much less burn and parading my girls around in their swimsuits in heavy snow in freezing temperatures and having them make snow angels does nothing. Does anyone else have this problem that can help?

Welcome to our Forum, simsonata.  Do you have needs static?  With needs static on, your sim will not burn or freeze.

Yes they are static, I didn't realize this had anything to do with needs. Will having that cheat on stop a tan too or just burning and freezing?

I believe it stops everything, no tanning, no freezing, no dying either.  One time I try to drown my sim with needs static on, just couldn't kill him.
