Title: Resort VIP rooms not increasing guest capacity or profit

So I built my own resort from scratch, and upgraded it till it was 5-star, but without any VIP rooms. Now I've gone in and added four VIP rooms, making sure they have the VIP door locks and everything, but this changes nothing in resort finances for me.  Neither the guest capacity changes, nor the profit.
Please help?  I spent over 50,000 hard earned simoleons on the VIP rooms, and I don't want my efforts to be for nothing.

When I tried making VIP rooms they didn't add to my occupancy either.  At the time I didn't check to see if the profit changed and decided not to worry about it.  So you're not alone, but I have no idea what the fix might be (or if there is one).

I've heard firepits add +50 to max capacity and the VIPS rent out for 50% more than a tower rate - havent heard of them increasing your resort cap though

I'm having the same problem as well. I tried to clear my cache files and others files, but that didn't work for me.
But it might work for you.
