Building Contest 2012-Long: September - Occult Hangout
Your Task:
The occults are multiplying! They’re everywhere! Some can’t stand the sun, others are bothered by the moon; they live for their coffins, lamps, and cauldrons; one thing they all have in common: they are all the finest, greatest, most awesome specimens of Sim-ness any Sim could ever aspire to be.
As a “normal” Sim do you want to be surrounded by all this awesomeness? Come on down to the greatest hangout place for all Sims. As an occult, ever feel singled out and alone? Come on down to the greatest hangout place for your special brand of Sim.
With the coming of Supernatural and a massive expansion to the available occult types, you are tasked with the challenge of building a community hangout where all Sims can mingle and each occult has its own special room for when they just want to hang out with Sims like them. For example, a vampire room with patterns, colours, and skill items that represent the vampire lifestyle. For those that will not be getting Supernatural or do not wish to build using the Supernatural EP, build occult specific rooms for the occults you do have: ghosts, Mummies, Simbots, Genies, Imaginary Friends, etc.
Specifications:- Lot Type: Community/Hangout or LN bar.
- Number of Bed Spaces: N/A
- Budget: $150,000
- Lot Size: 30x40 – 50x50.
- List of Occults: Ghost, Mummy, Simbot, Vampire, Imaginary Friend, Genie, Witches, Werewolves, Fairies, and Zombies.
- Other Specifications:
- Include rooms/buildings themed for the different occults available in your game. You do not need to include all the occults but have a good variety. This is to give that occult group a private, especially for them place to hang out with others of their kind. The key is for the builder to not identify the room, but have the room identify its occult.
- Main room/building/area should be a place where any Sim would love to hang out.

Since this contest is 4 weeks long and Supernatural comes out during the first week of September, this new EP is allowed for the building of this contest entry. No EPs are necessary as the base game will allow you to build a hangout – no actual occults needed.
