Title: Rewriting the Future: A DecaDynasty of Dreamers (Five Toddlers!)
Post by: Ricalynn on July 07, 2012, 07:56:23 PM
I just had the weirdest dream.   I was settling into my new home in beautiful Lucky Palms when I must have taken a nap.  Wait, let me go back a little bit.

Hi.  My name is Darren Dreamer.   I'm an artist that actually does really well.  No sleeping on my best friends' couches for this guy.  I'm actually starting to get a large following for my landscapes.   I just look outside my windows and paint what the Watcher has provided for us.  Yes, I look outside my windows to do this as I can't actually stand being outside at all.  Let me show you some pictures of my new place.

The Cactus garden in the back used to be the swimming pool but I had it filled in since I don't spend anytime outside anyway.  It's a nice one bedroom house almost studio-esque if you ask me.

Now let's get back to what I was talking about earlier.   I must have taken a nap on the couch because that's where I woke up.   I remember coming across an older woman.  She smiled to me as if we had known each other forever.  She sat with an orange fluffball on her lap and a stack of tarot cards on the table beside her.  I don't know where we were just that we were somewhere together.  As she petted her cat, she asked me if I wanted to know my future.   I've never really been into any of the mystical things out there aside from Nature's beauty but I agreed anyway.

She turned over a series of cards but the only one I really recognized was the Death card.   She had a sad smile on her face.  She told me that I would marry the woman of my dreams.  A woman that I already knew according to her.  We would have a son.  Then before we could have any more children, she would die in a fire.   I refused to believe her.  I told her she was wrong.

I can still hear her laughter but I will prove her wrong.

Disclaimer:   The wishing well has not been used it was just a nice backdrop to take pictures!  This is an official DecaDynasty.

I stilll have shivers going down my spine right now.  I had to get out of the house for a moment.  I decided to head to the Botanical Gardens Park.   If you ever visit Lucky Palms, then be sure to drop by this park.  It's full of local plantlife with a fountain running down the center in the shape of a cactus.  It's actually quite spectacular.  One day when I think about it, I'll remember to take a picture to paint later.    At the top of the cactus was another local treasure - The Wishing Well.

Like I said before, I've never been one to believe in any of the mystical things around us but I was certainly feeling different today.  I moved over towards the Wishing Well and a small part of me could feel that it was something special just like everyone else who lived here.   I fished a coin out of my pocket and tossed it into the well.   Normally when I was out in the world, I wouldn't be able to stand it.  The need to get inside would overcome everything else but not today.  Today I asked the wishing well to send me a sign.  I still wanted to marry the woman I love but I was going to prove to fate that it was wrong and that I would get my happily ever after no matter what it said.  I would grow old with my wife and have lots of children.

Enter Darleen - stage left.  Darleen and I had met at the local college where she was taking an art  that I had been giving.  By the end of the third & final session, she finally worked up the nerve to speak to me.  It was like magic how we had connected on several subjects.   I could tell she had a crush on me when we had been in class.

Seeing her here now had to be the sign that I had asked for.   She was the woman from the future I didn't want to come true.  She was also the only woman I would ever have a future with.  I knew the moment I had seen her before and I knew that again now.

Despite being outdoors, I was having a good time as we stroke up a conversation.  The sparks were definitely flying between us in the heat of the day.  I thought we both could feel them but sometimes it's hard to say with the other person.  I was glad when she didn't turn away when I made my move.  We were both testing the waters with that contact, I think.

The waters were warm!  I knew she agreed when she accepted the ring I presented.  I'm not sure how I got the ring in my pocket and I bet it had something to do with the wishing well nearby.  Once I saw her face though, I knew it had been the right move to make.

She also accepted my invitation to move in on one condition.  My Darleen was very close to her parents and she wanted us to ask permission from them to make our next move.   I haven't met her parents yet but I know who they are.  I only hope that they like me as much as their daughter.

At first I didn't notice the * around the word blank and thought now who on earth is named Blank in the Sims.

So excited to see a decadynasty from you Rica.

Thank you Rachel!  I've been trying to do one since Metro actually introduced the rules but I've run into all kinds of problems with it.  I probably shouldn't have started one with the need to finish Artie but I was truly inspired to do it.  I hope you and all the other readers like it.

I remember waking up that Sunday morning, thinking to myself, I should go visit the Wishing Well.  I was also thinking about visiting Darren's house to see if he was home afterwards but I wanted to wish for luck from the well in hopes that something might happen.  Over breakfast, I had mentioned to my mom, Mariana Matlapin, about my tentative plans.  She knew that Darren and I had hit it off on our earlier encounters.  She told I was too much of a romantic but she wouldn't hold me back.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I got out of the car to see Darren standing there at the Well.   I knew that he hated being outside as much as he loved to paint so I just never thought I would see him near a park.  We spent most of the day chatting, talking and flirting next to that Well.   I can also say without a doubt that Darren is a great kisser.    He made my heart flutter with his words and his eyes.   Then when he got down onto one knee, I thought I would just melt into the earth from happiness.

He didn't even bat an eyelash when I told him I wanted to go talk to my parents.   Both of his parents had been dead for a little while now but I think he understood the bond we shared.   We got into his Tofunda and drove to my house but neither of my parents were home.   He was very patient while I called my Mom to find out her location.  She was right down the street at the diner having a late lunch.  I told her I wanted her to meet someone and to stay put.

At first, I think Mom was a little hesitant as she was trying to be nice but at the same time, I think she was worried about this artist dating her daughter.  Moms try to be open-minded but the moment someone with a stereotype goes near their children, open-mindedness goes out the window.  They spoke for a few minutes about politics and art.  The more charismatic of my parents was getting her socks charmed off.

Darren: "Mrs. Matlapin - I know that we've only just met and all but I have something very serious I wish to ask you."
Marianna: "Mrs. Matlapin was my mother-in-law.  I told you to call me Marianna.   What do you need to ask me, Darren?"

Darren: "Please Please please may I have your daughter's hand?  I know her answer but we need yours.  I'm crazy about her and I think she's crazy about me.  I'll be a good husband.  I'll give her everything she could ever want."
Marianna: "Including the 5 children she dreams about?"
Darren: "I'd give her 15 children if that's what she wanted."
Marianna: "Darren, I like you.  She likes you.  Her father will like you.  Yes.  You two have my blessing."
Darleen: "Woohoo!"

After that we all went to dinner to discuss the move and wedding plans.  We wanted to wait a day or two as I wanted to get settled in and actually set up for a wedding.   I didn't want any city hall ceremony out in front of the diner.  I wanted a real wedding party with cake and a dress and of course, Darren said yes.

That night as our clothes became meshed into one dresser/closet, we had fun dressing each other up with some new clothes.   I changed my hair just a little bit to what I think is a more adult hairstyle.  I also got a job as a singer.   I thought I heard Darren getting off the phone with someone when I got home but we went to bed together.  He told there was a surprise coming for me in the morning.

When I got up, Darren was in the living room walking around to put things in their place.   I noticed a whole bunch of new pet things that hadn't been there.   Then my eyes caught some movement near the kitchen.   There he was trying to climb up into his food dish, this little blue, green and pink kitten.  Darren was watching me.  I couldn't help but smile.  He had gotten me a kitten!  We couldn't start our human family until after we were married but he had taken a step in the direction of making us one already.  I knew I loved this man.   I also knew just what to name my new little fluffball.... Dirk.

The cat really did come with that coat.  As soon as I saw it at the shelter I had to have it since it was a paint job from Artie's Dynasty.  I think he'll fit in nicely.    I can't decide what type of way to tell this story.  Part of me wants to do "the voice" style that I'm used to and part of me likes the challenge of making it a story.    We'll see how long it lasts.  I just want us all to enjoy it.

Makeover Time!  Some of the clothes they came with weren't that bad so I decided to keep them but I tweaked a few of the others to my liking.

I love this Deca-Dynasty! It's so fun, since were including classic TS2 favorites. Darren Dreamer was one of my favorites in TS2, and I still enjoy playing with him. (I've been regressing back down to TS2 lately). Dirk looks a little like Artie decided to paint Polanco, and not the canvas, just saying! The flat face and fluffiness has a lot to do with it. ;D

Is Dirk the same breed as Polanco?

I was waiting for someone to do this, and I'm glad it's you. I never played the Sims 2, so I don't have experience with the Dreamers... But I do love the idea of fighting the future.

Actually they don't really look anything alike.   :P  Dirk is fluffy but he's shaped a little strangely as a kitten but it evens out I think on his birthday. As for his breed, I think it said mixed when I got him so it's no telling in the game.  He reminds me more of one of Pam's cats from her DecaDynasty.  His face isn't flat at all and you'll see that once he ages up in an update.  Thanks for reading Jeana!

Thanks to everyone else as well.  I really appreciate the support as I try a different writing style than what I do on a day to day basis with the red guy.

Now that Darleen and I are starting our life together, it's like I see some things in a different light.  When she asks me to watch the stars with her, I don't even think twice about the fact that we have to do it outside.   I even find myself playing with Dirk out in the sunshine while we chase each other around.

I've also been feeling more family-oriented in a way.  Like I said before, I'm an artisit which means I get paid to paint.  I can tell that having a special woman in my life has made a change in me even during that special time when it's just me and the canvas talking.

Darleen quit her job at the theatre and became a professional singer.  Now instead of hanging out with band members, she runs all over town delivering sing-a-grams.   It's not glamorous and she doesn't like doing it alot but she says it's kind of fun to see people's faces when she's done.

Even though we had her mom's permission, Darleen really wanted me to meet her father.  She also wanted to throw a party so we took care of the two birds with one stone.  It was a nice dinner party and I had a good long talk with her dad.  I can honestly say that we're friends now.  He also says that he's glad his wife gave us permission.

The man has a wicked sense of humor though.  We were all enjoying the cheese plate that Darleen had prepared when he asks his daughter how long has she been pregnant.  I didn't know it was possible to choke on a grape until that moment.  Brayden King and Kitty Price thought he was hilarious as Darleen threw one of her grapes at him.  "Daaad!"

That night my friend Yolanda Shaw brought me her busted stereo begging to have me repair it.  I said I would if she would pay me the cost of the parts.  I had it fixed in no time and dragged it over to her house before the night was through.   When I arrived, I could hear screams coming from inside the door but there was nothing I could do.  I had no way of breaking down the door to see if she was ok.  I kept yelling for her to say something but I don't think she heard me over her own screams.

It took me five minutes before I remembered that my friend Yolanda was very pregnant.  I should have known that she was probably in the middle of the home birth.  I've heard that it's better for the mother and child but not nearly as quick.  Maybe I should bring this up to Darleen.

When I heard the exclamation that could only be happiness, I knocked again asking if she was OK.  She said she was and invited me in.  I was the second person in the world to meet little Grady Shaw.   I guess this means if my first child is a girl I know where to go to find her a date to the prom.  I just wish I knew who the father was.

After that life seemed simple and happy, I knew it was my last night as a single man.  And that didn't bother me a bit.

They say that a woman's wedding day is supposed to be the happiest day of her life.  I say mine was the first of many.  It didn't take us long to realize that we wanted some of the same things and with Darren's new way of looking at things he didn't mind that the wedding was going to be outside.   We had an arch and some chairs set up in the backyard.   Darren worked hard on a fountain display to go behind the arch for us.  It's my wedding gift.  He had part of the fountain colored in our two favorite colors: lilac and blue.

We both wanted a smallish ceremony with only my parents a few select friends over.  My parents were invited over early so that Mom could help me with my hair and dress.  Dad helped Darren with the setup in the back before helping him get ready.  I think Dad's idea of helping involved an entire bottle of nectar.

Mom brought me my grandmother's diamond drop necklace to wear with my dress.   I just couldn't believe I was about to be married at the time.   Then the guests started arriving and I knew it was time to go meet at the arch.   I wish I could have taken a picture of Darren's face when I came out of the house for the ceremony.   However, I was too busy staring at this handsome man who was mine in close to every way possible.

The sun began to set as we ended the ceremony.  If you've never been to Lucky Palms during a sunset, then you're missing out.  The desert is painting with reds and pinks in such a spectacular way that it's hard to explain.  The moment we were husband and wife was simply magical.   I am now Darleen Dreamer.

All of our guests seemed to enjoy the cake after the ceremony but I can't seem to remember the reception all that well.  Darren and I cut the cake and had some but afterwards we didn't really mingle.  I stole him to dance under the stars for a while.   Eventually we noticed that we were the only ones left on the property other than the cat.   He seemed to understand that it had been a special occassion and left all the humans alone that weren't specifically petting or brushing him.

I could tell the moment Darren realized we were alone.  He started acting frisky and chasing me around the house which was slightly unfair considering my skirt.  I can't say that I didn't enjoy it though.

You know I would even say that our wedding night was so magical that I could have sworn we heard music as we fell asleep looking into each other's eyes.

Thank you all so much!  It really helps me to keep going in this style.  I'm afraid it doesn't come off as well as my sense of humor does the other way.

I had heard that people were supposed to get days off after a wedding but Darleen and myself did not.  Well I take that back.  I can have a day off anytime I want as I'm self-employed.  Darleen was still getting random Sing-a-Gram calls so she would run out to deliver it and then run back to be with me.   I was wrapped up in a painting when she made us our first dinner as a married couple.  It was a simple Autumn Salad but I still appreciated it.   In fact, we were cleaning things up when suddenly she did "The Twirl."

I'm sure if I had been any other man, I would have just thought she was showing me a new move from work but I could tell by her face that I knew exactly what it was.  She was so excited.  I wanted a girl and she wanted a boy.  I think part of the reason I wanted a boy was because that old lady had told me I would have a son.  I want this life to be different and it will be different.  Plus I already have my son-in-law picked out so why not?

Darleen visited her friend Walker Sparks the next day.  He's a highly skilled local doctor and he was able to confirm that yes we were expecting our first child.  If Darleen found out what the sex of the baby was, she didn't tell me.   I also pushed for her to spend some time at the local spa.   She was still getting calls for sing-a-grams so she quit her job for the time being.

We both read the pregnancy books in order to prepare for the event.  I made sure she was totally pampered every step of the way.   One night we were surprised by the adult birthday of our little Dirk.   We never ignored the cat despite the fact that my wife was pregnant.  Our little funny colored pet was played with morning, noon and night like it was a schedule.  I had morning shift usually.   He grew up into a large fluffball instead of a small one.

I was happy to see that his nose because a little less flat and his eyes are now discernible as one gray and one blue.  He's so unique to me.  I have plans to get him a friend.    Part of me is worried he'll feel neglected once the baby is born.   However, Darleen says she could never neglect her first child no matter that he wasn't from her own body.  Sometimes I think the hormones are getting to my wife though.

As the life grew with her, I marveled at the change in her body.   I was in awe of the power that women possess with the ability to make little people inside of themselves.  I think my wife could tell.  She told me once I smelled the first dirty diaper I wasn't going to be in such awe anymore.  She also reminded me we were going to do this several more times to get her 5 children or more.  Watcher knows how we're going to fit everyone into the house with us.

(Caption: Darren- "Ahh! What do I do! What do I do!"  Cat- "How am I supposed to know.  I'm just a cat")

When Darleen cried out with the first pain, my brain stopped being attached.  It was no longer a working part of my body.  She screamed and I would scream.  She huffed and I would scream.  She crossed her eyes in pain and I would scream.  The cat looked a little put out by my actions but in a way I could tell he was amused by my situation.  You know how cats are.  Always looking at you with that look as if you are there for their entertainment.  He was getting his simoleons worth with me that night.

After what felt like weeks but was really only a couple of hours, the sparkles of home birth we read about appeared.  My darling wife had quite the surprise waiting for me when she called me back to where we had placed the crib.   In fact, at one point, she had moved out the crib and pulled out two swings.  Yes that's right, we had twins.

I don't know what you're talking. ;)   I was hoping no one would get it until later.  It could have easily been Donatello the actual Renaissance sculptor you know which it was for all of 25 seconds before it pushed forward towards the turtles.

Welcome Donatello and April! The labor scene was so funny.  ;)

Thanks!  With a picture like that, it's so hard not to revert to my usual writing style of commentary.  Sims just gives me so much good material you know?

She really is isn't she?  Her face in the picture where she's holding Donatello is one of my favorites.  You can see how gorgeous her eyes are.

Congrats with the twins! Now both of them had their wish come true. :)

Yes they did.  I was so excited.  I'm surprised none of you have asked who the actual heir is.

Updates will be a little slow for this story just so everyone knows.   I'm playing it in spurts but my true passion for playing rests with my Immortal Dynasty file.  Artie and I are trying to get this thing wrapped before September 4th.

I'm loving this story, Rica.  I think I actually like the third person writing style better.  It's easier for me to read than a lot of dialog.  I hope you keep going with it.  And congrats on the twins!

Oop. Oh dear, I'm sorry if I spoke out of turn.  :-[ Honestly I probably would have just taken Donatello as another 'D' name and not thought anything of it if his sister hadn't been called April. It's almost impossible to think of anything else if those two names are together. But if that wasn't an intentional reference, I apologise.

Sutz you are perfectly fine and I appreciate that someone else gets my humor and way of thinking. No need to be embarassed or to apologize.  I'm grateful that you're reading and it's always nice to find someone else who can think like you can!  Some things just aren't funny when you have to explain them.  Know what I mean, Verne?

I have some toddler goodness coming just for you guys and I hope it makes you feel better Sutz. You did nothing wrong!
Title: Re: Rewriting the Future: A DecaDynasty of Dreamers (Twins' Birthday)
Post by: Ricalynn on July 17, 2012, 10:30:26 AM
It felt like I had just brought the twins into the world when it was already time for them to become toddlers.  Of course, it's not like Darren and myself hadn't been busy.  In fact, Darren agreed to expanding out family again right away.   He's known since the beginning that I wanted at least five children and he is more than willing to give me what I want it seems.

We found out the morning of the twins birthday that I was expecting once again.  This time neither one of us had a wish for boy or girl so we decided to leave it up to chance.   I enjoyed eating whatever I wanted and Dr. Sparks told me that everything was fine but kept the sex of the babies to himself.  We invited him to the twins birthday party.   It was only a few people in attendance.   The maid seemed more excited about the birthdays than any of the guests and that includes my parents!

Darren carried his baby girl while I was able to hold our little man at the cake.   Even though Donatello had been born before his sister, it was April who was taken by the sparkles first.  It's official that she has my blue eyes and I think that's my dark hair.

Donatello has no hair but his eyebrows seem to be dark like Darrens and he has green eyes.  At first I couldn't remember where my little angel would have gotten green eyes from in our families.  I thought maybe it was Darren's side but he said he had mostly brown from what he can remember.

It was moments later as Darren was getting the kids properly dressed in some of their new clothes that I realized where I had seen green eyes before.  It was green eyes that I had seen all my life looking at me with love and kindness.   It was the same green eyes I found watching my children now with the same expression.  Although, my dad says it's much more fun to watch grandkids than children.  Grandkids can be left with their parents!

Darren struggled for a little bit but I never offered to take over as I watched him get the kids into their new clothes.   They had been picked out in colors we thought they would enjoy.  I know I'm probably a little biased but I think we have the cutest toddlers in Lucky Palms right now.

I wonder what their little brother or sister will look like.

Now that the twins were older we realized that the real parenting had truly begun.  Darleen still hadn't resumed her singing career so she was the first one to teach the children something.  Our little April didn't take very long at all to learn how to potty.    She was so excited when I came to cheer for her.  I can't wait until they learn to talk back so I can know what they're thinking behind their eyes.

I don't want anyone to think that we put April first though.  Donnie was trained by me himself to use the potty just like his sister.  My wife (I love saying that) tells me that potty training had to come first if we wanted to teach them independence.

Even though they had just become toddlers, the twins received gifts from an uncle that neither Darleen nor I remembered.  They're these odd looking dolls.  They seem harmless enough so we don't stop the twins from singing to them which is the most precious thing I think I've ever seen.    Of course all this happened on the day of their birthday.   I even managed to paint my way to mastering the skill before we sat down to teach the twins to talk.

They were so cute as we tried to teach them new words.  Every now and then they would make the same face.   Darleen thinks it's funny when it happens and I'm not sure how I feel about it.  Seems to me they may have gotten my wife's stubborn streak.

It was during this family activity that the pain hit Darleen.   The twins weren't fully taught but both of us were in no mindset to finish the job.   Darleen was trying to not scream and alarm the kids.  I, on the other hand, couldn't help but scream and panic when I saw the pain in those beautiful blue eyes.   The children just watched me as I did this and laughed.

Darleen and I had thought long and hard about what to name our children and due to our combined love of art we had chosen names of famous artists from the past once again for our new arrival.   We couldn't have been prepared for what actually happened though.

After Leonardo, the pains kept coming much like when she had had the twins.

But after Raphael, they continued for a bit more.

Michelangelo was the last to be born as well as a complete and utter surprise.

Three boys made five.  Darleen had the babies that she had wanted when we got married.  I guess I just never thought we'd get them all right away.   Omar called to tell me congratulations and that he and Marianne were moving.   I couldn't believe they would leave after their grandchildren were born.   Darleen got only a little more information out of her mother when they said it was a new development by GothCorp named Pleasantview.

Eventually we got all the children situated into their own swings.  We were going to go buy more cribs tomorrow to accomodate them all.  That night as I held my wife close, I dreamed of the life I was going to give my five little angels.  So far I had changed the future but would the future stay changed...

If it hadn't been for the swings that my parents had given us, I'm not entirely certain we would have survived the toddler times in our home.  Of course, when I'm feeling particulary teasing, I always remind Darren just wait until we reach the teen years.   He gives me one of those looks and disappears into a painting to calm himself.  Even with newborns, the twins got all of their training done.   The learned to walk in the backyard near the cactus garden that I'm hoping will one day change back into a pool.

Once they were taught all that we could teach them, I figured it was time for April and Donnie to bond with one another.  They say twins and triplets are in tune with one another's thoughts and feelings.  I had no doubt that my children were any different.   I would be feeding one of the littler ones and look to find the two of them chatting away in their own language at the block table.  I'll always wonder what it was that they were talking about.  For all we knew, the twins could be planning world domination while we weren't looking but I hoped not.

With five little chidren in the house, I started to feel that Dirk wasn't getting nearly as much attention as he was probably used to.  He seemed content to play around in the puddle of the backyard but I still wanted to do something more for him.   After some serious twisting of my sweetie, Darren agreed and called up the shelter to see what kind of companions they had available for our furry child.  Stiletto Dreamer was delivered that afternoon.  She's pure white and not as fluffy but she seems gorgeous to me.  Dirk also seemed to like her once they were done the sniffing and the pouncing.

Just in time for the triplets birthday, I had to go back to work.  I know it's not glamorous what I do but I've always enjoyed singing and I can't say that I don't enjoy meeting all the new people.   It's especially rewarding when I am able to get the machine to actually work right.  One of my biggest fears is that it will spark and catch my uniform on fire.  I've never mentioned this to Darren though.  He tries to be very careful with everything flammable.  He even found a way to make our home fireproof.  He said it was for the future and I assume he means so the children don't hurt themselves by accident.

The birthday party for the triplets was a slightly formal affair.  Darren and I have been in a constant state of half dress with three infants and two toddlers so we wanted to dress up a little.  Who could blame us? We even invited little Grady Shaw over.  He's already a child and looks a lot like his dad.  Or I assume it's his Dad because I don't think he looks like Yolanda at all.

Darren and I took Leo and Mikey to the cakes first and then I was able to get Raphael up there shortly after that.  it's hard to believe that those three little infants are now toddlers.   I wonder how Darren and I are going to survive this second round of training.

I guess we'll see.  Time to get the boys dressed in their favorite colors and check on the older two.

Actually Mikey's favorite color is orange but the others actually had the same favorite colors as their turtle counterparts from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.  I thought it was hilarious personally.  I know I'm maybe going to regret having all 5 so fast but for now they're adorable.

FYI to my readers:  I'm in the middle of a game reinstall.  The Dreamers should be safe but I'm attempting to see if the memory leak will go away that I experience when playing my dynasty file.  Right now everything is installed EP/SP wise but I still have to redownload all of my store content, swap shop favorites and anything else that's missing after the fact.

The triplets look really cute and it's pretty cool that their favourite colours match the actual turtles except for Mikey.

Actually I didn't give them any hair because all of them sparkled up into no hair which was funny.  The other reason being that turtles don't have hair so I wanted them to be bald for at least one stage of their lives.

Edit: My game is finally working again so I'm going to take some quick closeups for you guys to show you just how similar and different the four boys are.  Donatello looks a lot like his little brothers.

The green eyes definitely come from Omar, Darleen's Dad.  The dark blue eyes are very similar to Darleen's.  I'm not sure where Raph's eyes come from.

My nooboos are all fussy all the time but they stopped being nooboos right before the patch.   I just had a nooboo in my immortal dynasty though and she seemed to be ok but I don't think I paid that much attention to her once her queue was set up.   The tough life of a dynasty toddler you know.
