Five Months Later

Raelyn's POV

It has been a crazy few months. Let's first start off with the birthdays that have happened in the family. Trenton grew up into a teenager and he seemed to outgrow his bow tie, but I hoped that he still had his drive and determination he had as a kid. He was going through a phase where he was moody as ever though but maybe that was just a side effect of teenage boys.

Mom and dad were now elders. I could tell that Addi and Trent were struggling with the idea of them getting older. You get used to how your life is and don't give much thought into people leaving forever until it's right at your door step. They were the ones who encouraged me the most with my career and I wanted them to be here to see me be successful.

"No! You got to move like this!" Addi said.

I walked into Trenton's room where the music was blasting. The both of them were dancing, well Addi was dancing and Trent was just doing this awkward arm thing.

"This is stupid." Trent groaned.

"You'll get it!"

"What's going on?" I asked.

"Trenton is going to a dance at school and he's worried about the dancing part." Addison said.

"Dancing is easy once you get a hang of it." I said.

"Rae?"

I was passing mom and dads room when I heard dad calling me.

"Yes?"

"Come in here for a moment."

I walked in.

"I just wanted to tell you how proud of you I am." He told me.

"Aw, thank you daddy." I grinned.

"I mean it, you have worked so hard and it's finally paying off."

I smiled and fought back tears.

"I love you baby girl."

"I love you too."

The gigs were still going well. Directors loved me and I was passing almost all of my auditions because word was starting to spread of me success. One of my more recent ones was a commercial for dish detergent. They went with a pirate theme which at first was confusing until I saw the bottle and boxes of the product. It had a tropical bird on it so it could tie into pirates, but I was honestly sick of the pirate gigs. I gave the final line of the last horrible pirate pun and kept smiling until the camera cut off.

"CUT!"

My smiled dropped and the director told me how well I did as I came off the stage.

"Are you available next week?" He asked.

"Next week?! Yes! Absolutely!"

"We're doing an ad for love week. Since there is still a stigma about same sex couples we thought doing a commercial may help change that. Would you be down for that?"

"Yes!"

I left the studio elated. I could not believe he personally asked for me! I sent an email to my manager at the agency to let him know along with adding it to my calendar.

...

"Thanks Keegan!"

I left hair and make up and went to the stage where the director was ready for us.

"I'm nervous about this." Ashley, my co-star, whispered.

"Don't be!" I soothed.

"I've never... kissed a girl." She shyly said.

"If it helps, I haven't either."

She gave me a small smile before the director called action.

It was surprisingly easy to kiss her, but it was just a job. There were no romantic feelings involved so that helped.

I was really getting to the point where I was getting noticed. It was a strange feeling especially when people would come up to me claiming to be fans. I had fans from just commercials and they even wanted an autograph! It meant my name was getting out there though so that was a good feeling to have. I went to parties a few times here and there to get myself known even more.

Time to practice my picture pose!

I got home late that night with an email from my manager. I read it and my eyes widened.

"MOM!!!! DAD!!!" I screamed.

They ran from their room moments later.

"What's going on?!"

"My manager emailed me... I'm being asked to do a role..."

"And?"

"For a TV show!" I screamed.

Mom let out a scream and ran over and hugged me.

"I told you you would do it!" Dad said as he hugged me.

I couldn't believe this was happening!

TV Show here we come! Elisha and John are elders =[

Guys, I have to be honest with you because I care about you as readers. I've pretty much lost interest in this story. I had a lot of fun with it, but I feel like I can't come up with anything exciting. I also have a feeling it's showing in my writing. The only big thing in the family right now is Raelyn's career and even I feel like that is going by slowly. I can only repeat myself on her gigs so much. So, I think it's best to end it. There won't be any pictures, because I feel like I can create an ending that's better without pictures. I'm sorry again.

Five Years Later

"I told them no, several times!"

"I'm sorry ma'am."

I groaned, "It's fine."

I walked up to my suite and stood in front of my big window looking out. I was here, a five star celebrity and I had everything from my own driver to my own mansion. I was getting all of the best deals and even had my own book. This was the dream.

...

Mom and dad passed away shortly after what would have been my first TV show gig. They just randomly fell sick and passed away in their sleep. It took us by surprise because we were expecting more time. The TV show ended up killing me off in the first episode, and I was so upset that I cried in moms lap for the longest time. I reached a real low at that point from getting my hopes up and then losing both mom and dad. The funeral came and went and we moved on to finding a new normal. I became the head of the house for Addison who had not yet grown into a young adult yet and also Trenton who had just become a teenager. He took it the hardest because he's never had to deal with death before, not that Addi and I had really dealt with it before either. I was at least making decent money from gigs so life wasn't too rough on us.

I was now an adult. As you know I'm a proper celebrity and I have a contract with another medical show that has taken off. I made them promise me that I wasn't going to get killed off on the first episode again, or even anytime soon for that matter. Once Trenton was a young adult I moved out of the house and into my own. I stayed in this small house until my mansion was ready to live in. I didn't really want this big house for myself, but my manager told me I could not be seen in the little house. I chose not to marry or have children because I was too busy for either of those things. Which was fine with me because my career was important to me and I had put so much time into it at this point. I had stared in so many movies, but it had to be in between seasons of the show. I had a few flings here and there, but nothing serious enough for marriage and they were told a head of time that I was not looking for anything romantic. It was just me in this huge house that I could easily get lost in. I did hire a butler, and a few other people to help out. The world didn't know because they would go crazy, but the butler and the help were some of my closest friends. I never wanted to treat them as if they were beneath me and they were told that at the beginning of their first shifts with me.

Addison grew up to be a famous music producer. I went to her for when we needed music for the show or whatever movie I was working on and she would help me. She married shortly after I moved to this nice guy named Vincent. He didn't have a famous career or even the best one, but that didn't matter to either of them. He worked as a accountant which still made a decent amount. They had a dog named Sammy, a cat named Nea, and a one year old little girl. Her name was Frankie which was an unusual name for a little girl but it was Vincent's grandmothers name. It somehow suited her though because she seemed like she was going to be a tom boy. Addison was also pregnant with their second kid, and I had a feeling this one was going to be a boy but Addi claims I'm crazy. I tried to keep my family away from the spot light so they wouldn't have to deal with that kind of stress.

Trenton followed a different path in his life. He went on to become an astronaut for the longest time. We would send him things (don't ask me how he got the gifts) and he would take pictures of them floating in the ship. He did that for almost two years before he fell in love with Rose, the girl who grounded him. He said goodbye to space and hello to a desk job at the space station. I couldn't tell you what he did, but I know it was something with numbers and it was way too complicated for me to figure out. Trent worked up the courage to propose to Rose and they were married in the fall. It was a beautiful wedding and it made me slightly sad that I would never have that. They welcomed their first son six months after the wedding and they named him Owen. Owen was three years old now and he was the most creative little boy I had ever seen besides his father. He could get you to do anything by just looking at you, he was that cute. Last week they announced that they were pregnant again, but this time they were having twins! It was a shock for everyone but they were so excited. I was happy for them, they deserved all the happiness in the world.

We stayed in close contact, but like I said I tried to keep them out of the spot light. I enjoyed being famous but it could bring out the worst in some people. I've had several nasty stories written about me in the past and I was not about to expose them to that especially the children. I loved my life and I'm extremely thankful for the life I lived. I did make sure to give my time and volunteered several times a month and also donated to charities. People said that I only did it to get praised by the public, but it was my way of giving back. I felt guilty about being famous and rich and having way more then I needed. It was only fair that I would give my time away and help out with different companies that needed an extra hand. But for now, I had it all figured out.

The End

Again, I'm sorry I just abruptly ended it. I'm also sorry that the end chapter isn't as long as I thought it was going to be! I just wasn't feeling it. I do have another story in mind! I will be working on that soon! Thank you for taking time to read this story, and I hope to see you at the next one.
