Charlee Sharebear was extremely busy potty training her little heiress when her "secret" cell phone alerted her to a Simtime Video Call.


"Seb!  What's wrong?!" Charlee asked her long lost brother, Sebastian Sharebear.


"Uh, Charlee, did your watcher mention anything to you about a short side project?  Cause I think I just got plopped down on a legacy plot." 


"Oy a vey!  No, Seb, she hasn't been around here as much...probably due to all the kids I have been poppin out.  Now I know where she has been spending her time.  I can see why, too!  You're looking good, bro, have you been working out more than normal?"


"Yeah, but I also got a makeover in the bin...I heard something about how I needed to be buff if I was gonna be a founder.  Any pointers?"


"Don't let her talk you into 10 kids right away...and don't be random, unless it's required!"

Well, I have to say that I'm glad Seb's watcher made him buff.
Quite honestly, I might have cried if he'd turned out to be pear-shaped.

Chapter 1:  The First 24 Hours



I, Sebastian Sharebear, thank the watcher so much for giving me this opportunity to live outside the bin...even if it's for much less time than my sister, Charlee, gets to have.

I would also like to thank the readers of my story for your welcome...without you, none of this would be possible!

Let's see...what else do you need to know?...hmmm...

Oh yeah...the watcher didn't change my traits (Family Oriented, Genius, Loves Outdoors) or my Aspiration (The Curator).  I got myself a job in the science career.



I started day 1 by multi-tasking...I need to get money, collect things, and hopefully find Mrs. Sharebear.  So I head to the park.



I love her red hair, but she's already an adult...That doesn't leave much time.



I feel like you are going to break hearts one day very soon...however, I cannot wait around long enough for you to age to YA.



Maybe this will help entice the ladies to come out of the woodwork and talk to me...  (in actuality, Seb was taking a shower at the gym when the Good Timers Club called him to come over...apparently he didn't find it necessary to change first)



Ding, ding, ding!!!  There she is, ladies and gentlemen!  The future Mrs. Sharebear...of course, for the life of me, I cannot recall what her name is at the moment.  She currently lives with her brother, and her sister just got married off to Dennis Kim (eww).



She was receptive of my flirting...that's always a good thing.



I asked her and her brother to move in (you ladies will swoon over him as well).  I was able to buy my Knight suit.  I don't know how, since most of my collectibles were not duplicates, and therefore, not sold off.



And this is the parting shot of Monday morning, right before my watcher and myself head to work.

Everyone:  Thank you for reading and commenting!  I don't have the patience to tag all of you, or put your quotes in here, but the fact that you all have read this and commented, means alot.  I hope Charlee's experiences don't run me off the legacy train...and watching you all do short lifespan and being on like Generation 3 was making me jelly.  So even though I barely had time to play the first Sharebear, I have started another...and I'm also tinkering with another Dynasty attempt too...too many fires and not enough hot firemen!


ETA:  By now I owe all of you some comments on your stories...know I have been reading and laughing...and maybe Saturday I will get that done!

I don't know how much time you usually spend in a single simming session, simfulicious, but Short Lifespan goes by really fast.
I'm really enjoying how quickly time passes. And we always have the option to slow narrative time down in our stories.
Good luck to Sebastian, his future wife, and hawtie brother-in-law. I trust y'all will be buying a water slide soon?

You know, Sebastian, I think I would have waited to the lovely redheaded teen to age up.  Okay, I'm impatient to start legacies and totally wouldn't have, but she was a lovely option.
The nameless future Mrs. Sharebear is also quite lovely and I think she and our gender-swapped founder will have lovely little nooboos!
