The kids are so adorable. I can't believe they're teens already!
So glad Lyanna continues to thrive as a scientist. She's had a rough road, but loving her job certainly seems to have made it easier. The array of freeze ray victim pictures cracked me up.
I like the approach she's taking with Davos, too. Sort of the opposite of the way her parents handled it, and it seems to be working for her. No sign of teenage freakouts with Davos yet.

I watered a plant with my tears, but meeting Grim was cool!  Loved the quick turnaround on that!
Chatting with Davos about the project and then sitting down with the school counselor to discuss options was just wonderful!  It's such an odd concept to ponder in real life sitting down and explaining to the counselor that you're part of a project orchestrated by a secret group and are considering just going off and living off the land and so on and so forth.  They'd think you were crazy!  Ah, Sims, how we enjoy your weird little world  :=)

I'm thinking it's like someone debating whether they should join the Peace Corps.

Oh my, Lyanna feels a bit guilty XD love her meeting Grim. Hehehe, I can see her testing a serum on him XD

Hi Davos,

Thanks for your email. In answer to your questions, it’s pretty much how it was for your mom, grandfather, and forebears before. You’ll get a plot of land. You start with nothing. Feel bring anything you want, but you’ll need to pay back the monetary value of the total first thing.



Your interest in painting will be a bonus because this job does require you to be in the art career.

What is different this time is that you’re going to have a … well, let’s call it a roommate who will have goals of his or her own. You have no say in who this individual is.



You will also need to father an heir, build a house with some specifications I can’t share at the moment, yadda yadda yadda.

I think that’s about all I can tell you.  Hoping you’ll be a part of the Project, but no biggie if you can’t.

Journal entry, Davos Flint

Mom read Ben’s email and sighed. “He’s far too casual.”



She keeps giving me all this info and telling me THIS IS A VERY BIG THING and that I NEED TO THINK VERY CAREFULLY ABOUT my future, but it just seems kind of cool to me.

I’m so tired of talking with the guidance counselor about careers.



What I want to do is paint. So what if I have to have a roommate and starve for a couple of days?



Serra agrees, but I think she’s bummed she can’t come with.





Dad says it’s up to me and he’ll support me no matter what.

I’m gonna do it.

Oh, a roomate with goals, that's interesting and a change. And it seems more information any of the previous generations had. Ben Lynx may be too casual for Lyanna, but at least, it's not a case of teen panicking here, so things are handled differently.

I haven't been reading up on the challenge rules, so it's been really fun discovering what the next house will be like through your story. Davos seems very chill, which is a very good thing. And painting is a great thing, especially since he'll be starting with nothing. Good thing he likes it! Like everyone else, I'm eager to learn more about this roommate situation.

Thank you so much! It's kind of a challenge to figure out how to make the stories a bit different from house to house because even though the goals are different there is a certain sameness to it.

Honestly, painting is hands down my favorite way for the sims to make money so I quite liked house 005.

Today at work, I got to go to Sixam.



Sixam is gorgeous.



I came back with quite a lot of alien items, but my official 3 items will be geodes.





I met several aliens including one called Ramon Baratheon (no relation), but the one who will be joining our household is Yasmin Willis. She is a cat lover, a dog lover, and a bookworm and is already working in the Science career (I had no idea she was an alien!)





Marya aged up to a teen.



And with two days to spare I maxed out rocket science.





Before I close this out, I would like to remind you that Davos is a minor and cannot officially agree to the Project till he reaches young adulthood. Even if I’m 99.9% certain he will do it, I can do without having to console his twin sister who is terrified for his future.

Yasmin's an adult so not really viable for a gf/partner for Davos. I'm so glad you've enjoyed Lyanna. She was a lot of fun for me to play.
