Intro

Victor (confident and hopeful):  Do we have a deal, my darling wife?
Lily (thinking shrewdly):  Well we do need to begin execution of our plans to run the world...
Victor (sensing victory):  Exactly, Lambchop!  And we will not be able to do it alone!  But with the little minions we will create, the possibilities are endless!
Lily (Negotiating):  Well I am only getting pregnant once!  And don't expect me to change diapers and feed the little hellion!
Victor (Victorious):  Excellent!  I get you pregnant once, and in exchange, you get to start your Young Adult years over again!  Sounds like a fair trade to me!

Best wishes to you on this challenge @simfulicious
I'm very eager to see what the Fengs look like as young adults and how their heirs turn out.
Yay!

Well they weren't always allowed since they start the game as Adults...but with the rule change that we can age backwards, they are now fair game.  I hope I know what I'm getting myself into.

Ooh! This should be good! A villainous power couple! I find the Fengs very interesting but haven’t played with them much, so I’m really looking forward to seeing where you take them.

Victor's Manifesto - Week 1

Looking back at the beginning of our project, I am not sure how we made it through the first days of toddlerhood.  And, at this point, I am still not sure of who is in charge of this venture exactly.  But I digress...

Lily looked just like she did when I fell in love with her at first sight, all those years ago.  She, of course, was all for posing for the camera for me so I could complete my collection of photographs in record time.

[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

We went to the museum to hang up my collection, which consisted of a bunch of photographs of the new us.  We felt on top of the world!  No one was going to stop us from our goal of ruining, err running the Simverse.

When we returned home, it appeared that Lily became pregnant rather early on.

[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

And it was completely confirmed when she returned home the next day from work.  My Lily has a great mind, however, she has no tact, and therefore it will be hard for her to go any further in her career.  Maybe my Secret Weapon will be able to help her out whenever I get enough points to unveil her.

[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

I went to the magical wishing well 3 days in a row, and got mixed results...the first day was wonderful...fully promoted!   Wahoo!  The next 2 days, however, I was not so lucky.  The second time I would have been promoted if I could have finished my promotional requirements.  Yeah, my Secret Weapon has apparently never dealt with Securing Votes, and I need like 20 of them before 8am tomorrow...

[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

The final time at the well had the most drastic looking result...work was watching my every move, and I might get a demotion If I'm not careful.  Guess I better stop bribing people for a little while until things cool off.

Lily went into labor on Wednesday, as soon as she got home from work.

[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

Our heir is a little boy named Thiago...and we also had a little girl named Ali.  My SW is not doing a naming theme, but is just randomizing the names until she lands on one she likes.  I don't really care what the little minions are named, as long as they do what they are supposed to do.

[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

This is where the story starts to get interesting...Lily, my dear wife, who HATES CHILDREN, was actually doing a lot more than I thought she would do to help out.  She was cooing at Thiago almost as soon as he was born.

[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

One day I even caught her breastfeeding one of the minions!

[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

Things, however, were not always rainbows and moon beams.  I was working like a dog trying to secure votes...only to end up with like 6.  I came home one night, went right to bed, and then got out of bed and passed out on the floor...cause I guess we had too many points toward our free day or something.

[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

And then our babies became cute toddlers Evil Terrors.  Thiago earned the wild trait, and Ali earned the fussy trait.  This was going to be fun torture.

[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

This is the toddler room after like 3 hours of them running around doing whatever they want.

[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

It was also probably the only night where Lily had enough energy left to try and pick up a little bit after the Tower of Terrors finally fell asleep.

[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

It was finally the weekend, and I swore I was gonna get these little buggers to be happy and learn their skills...boy was I severely mistaken.  I may be able to smooth talk all sorts of foreign diplomats into giving me whatever I want, but these two give me a run for my money.  Though, I guess that means they are learning what they are meant for down the road.

I will end this journal entry with a photo of me, as I learn how to write.  Hopefully it will bring some much needed points.

Lily's very attractive as young adult. I'm glad you gave her a softer hairdo as well.
I hope she keeps up the autonomous parenting! :)

Oh my word, your toddlers are wild and fussy? I don't mind a wild toddler at all, but fussy toddlers are The Worst!!!
Best wishes to Victor and his watcher! I'm looking forward to learning if he survives the weekend.

I love that hairstyle on Lily! She looks lovely. The children are adorable, too, and how great that she's actually caring for them when she hates children! Things seem to be humming right along according to plan.
Man, I hate it when sims go to bed and then get back out in order to pass out. It's the worst!

Thanks, Oshizu.  I’m glad you’re worried about Victor surviving...I, however, am worried about me surviving.

Thanks, frances.  That hairdo really is one of my faves.  And I almost died when I saw Lily doing all that domestic stuff.

Thanks!  This is my first time playing them too.  Couldn’t resist when the rules changed to allow them.

Thanks, Lena.  I hope he can get the votes too.  I don’t like how they are at the top tiers of their careers, but yet they have to max a skill or secure so many votes.  Lily, for example starts out with zero charisma but needs to max it for her next promotion.  I think she should’ve come with some to start out in order to make it more believable.

After a lot of thought, and trying to make myself play this...I just cannot.  Apparently, I am too much of a micro-manager for this challenge.  Kudos to everyone who is doing one, and writing about them so well that I am inspired to do my own...but being able to control only one sim is just not for me.  I think I'm going to stick with the other dynasty types, or maybe a legacy.

I understand exactly how you feel, @simfulicious
After escaping to my shiny-new legacy challenge for 12 days, I returned the other day to my Townie Dynasty with new determination and became very sad again.
MarianT seemed to just breeze through the weeks. I have more admiration for her than ever now.

I'm looking forward very much to your next project. I'm dying of curiosity what it will be!!!
