Excellent progress, and I love the gender swap. I'd definitely dine at Dem Butlers. Poor Summer, getting stuck with toddler-minding duties.

Niche Nerds in Newcrest: Week 2 with the Sciarris, Part I
« Reply #76 on: February 11, 2017, 06:06:34 AM »
@Alex   I'm sorry to disappoint you about Tamari! Just as I was about to hit "Post," I got the message that someone else (you) had posted.

@PeregrineTook  Tamari thanks you for the compliment. I was surprised that gender customization brought out the Shota resemblance so strongly. And I salute you for your powers of observation regarding Candy watching dat nanny! There's that expression "shooting daggers," although they are technically just kitchen knives. ;-)

@FrancescaFiori  When that jawline suddenly appeared, I thought to myself, "Oh Francesca will like this!" Lol. To be honest, you see screenshots of patrons and their high ratings, but Dem Butlers isn't doing a lot of business yet. Now that the staff is trained, the kids are older, and he works fewer and shorter shifts, though, Shota will get serious about his café's rating.
And I'm not sure what's up with Yumiko. She sure is a bad mother, though, haha.

@wfgodot
Quote
I was gonna say Murasaki seems to be favored with the whole "sorry, not enough ss space for you!" but I have a feeling, after the switch, that Tamari might get more attention!
Tamari will need to max fitness, of course!
I had a different plan for the café but raising toddler sims with a career and a café is just too crazy. The founding generations just need to survive and meet the minimum requirements…

@MarianT   Yes, you're absolutely right about Elliott. I'm embarrassed to confess that I usually think of that character as Fabio because of his hair, especially after someone on reddit pointed out the resemblance. I just realized now that blond Yumiko might have been at the pond, burning, because she Loves the Outdoors.  Regarding the Sciarris catching up, I discovered this chapter that the vampires' ability to go without sleep will be compensated by their very low museum value. This challenge is really well balanced!

@Whirligig  The only problem with racing through is that I don't get to enjoy my sims as much! We will be opening a Dem Butlers in your neighborhood in the near future, lol. I've decided to take the vampire week a little slower because the content is so very new to me.
Summer ends up taking care of the kids because she generates the least income and lacks focus. I'd planned to have her max painting then mentor Tamari, but Tamari might reach L10 first, haha.

Week 2 with the Sciarris (Part I)

Sunday

Massimo: I've been very lonely without you, dear readers. Have you missed me as much as I've missed you?

Caleb: Fitness is important! One wants to always look one's best--even at a moment like this!

Selene: It's hard to focus on my requirements while Massimo is a toddler but he's sleeping now.
Spotting someone walking by our house, I use the vampiric "Turn into vampire" social on her before introducing myself.
This forced turning left us with tiny red bars, so I socialize with my new offspring--her name is Yasmin Al Majbouri--a little before she has to leave.
If one must have offspring, they might as well be stylish, yes? Yasmin won't even need a makeover!

Selene: After undergoing vampiric training with Lilith, I rise to the rank of Prime Vampire!

Vampire Family is the best aspiration for me, I'm sure. Caleb is already a Good Vampire.
And I don't have the time for the fights required by Master Vampire. Not with baby Massimo and a new career!

Caleb: And the skinny bald vampire, because he is so very powerful, lives alone in a huge mansion in Forgotten Hollow…
Massimo: Papa, are you trying to make up a story about Uncle Vlad?

Diego: Congratulations on your nooboo, Lilith. Vladislaus must be ecstatic!
Lilith: Can you believe our son was given the completely unacceptable name of Tatum? He's a magic vampire, not Magic Mike!
Caleb: Let's invite Vlad over when your son is a toddler, sis. I hear Vlad's really good with kids!
Lilith: I need to see him before then. I'll be renaming him on his toddler birthday and want to brainstorm with Vlad about his new name.

Selene: I take a moment to read up on Vampire Lore with Caleb.
I can't wait to have more free time to spend with my irresistible man!
Well, lately, I've had to resist because building a solid foundation for our lineage is so crucial!

Diego: As a celebrated art critic, I'm shocked and disappointed at the appraisal of my portraits of Selene.
Although I'm a Level 7 painter, is it even possible to paint quality portraits without being  Marketable and a Creative Visionary?
In my lofty opinion, they are attractive portraits but unbelievably cheap!
You'd think I'd left out a zero or something! I'll need to try again when I'm feeling more inspired!
Maybe wait until you max painting and drink a Prose and Pop, Diego?

Selene: I have reached Level 15 of Vampire Lore. Apparently, I have nothing more to learn about vampires.
And yet, I can't help but feel that I've only scratched the surface of the vampiric lifestyle.

Selene: Our Yumiko, who is my second offspring, is badly in need of training.
I've heard rumors that she's been walking around in broad daylight and burning up.

Caleb: Diego has to be the only sim I know who can pull off that snooty walk without looking like a complete idiot.
Selene: Strut your stuff, Diego!

Selene: I need to turn one more sim, but I can't go outdoors during the day.
When our stereo breaks, I call a repairperson, even though Yumiko has L8 Handiness.
Aya Mandir is a gloomy, vegetarian geek and I think she'll do nicely as my fifth offspring.

Unlike with Yasmin, I have the time to befriend Aya first, which lets me use the friendly "Offer to turn" social instead of the vampiric (unfriendly) "Turn into vampire.".
As a result, turning Aya didn't hurt our friendship even a tiny bit!

Caleb: Once night falls, we all head out to San Myshuno except for Lilith who babysits.

Selene: You're not fooling me with that "You're not going to haggle?" trick! You're dying to close shop and go home early, aren't you?
I've read all about this produce stall's scam on the forum!

Caleb: Thanks for coming out with us tonight, my friend!
As a Good Vampire, I need to drink from 2 sims with permission. Would you mind helping a brother out?

Bob: Sure, Caleb. I'll let you drink from my wrist.
Wow, I'm not sure I've ever seen Bob Pancakes looking so stoic and heroic!

Selene: Thanks for coming along with us, Rieko! For my Vampire Family, I need to train three offspring.
So I've chosen you as my third trainee. Are you prepared?

Monday

Diego: For work-from-home task, I need to paint graffiti for two hours but we ran out of time for that in San Myshuno.
It totally ruins the look of the house, but I can make you a space for your graffiti.
Diego: Thanks, but I can't reach it because of the high foundation!
Fine. Now you have a platform with stairs, but I'm deleting it as soon you've completed your task!

Massimo: I want an airplane shot with Papa like the other heirs got with their fathers!
Caleb: How do you know about that?

Ilaria: Phew, I finally escape from that bassinet! Was that ever a boring gig!
Because of the household switching, I was stuck there for two-and-a-half weeks! Imagine!

Selene: Massimo definitely has Caleb's droopy, dreamy eyes! I think he'll look a lot like Caleb!
Yumiko: I believe Ilaria might take after Diego, though it's too early to tell definitively.
But she has Diego's deep-set eyes and tiny mouth plus her cheeks are not as full as Massimo's.

Diego: I take a thoughtful shower, browse art on the computer, then light some inspiring incense while painting another dark-form portrait.
It's the one on the very right. Surprisingly, it's worth almost triple my first attempt ($546 vs $184) despite it being less atmospheric.
I'm going to redo both portraits after I've maxed the painting skill. Or does museum value not really matter?

Nice move with the cake, Caleb.  At least, as you said, you managed to look good AND be barely dressed.  A plus indeed.  I'm assuming you probably don't get to eat much cake with a body like that, so I don't blame you one bit.

Have to laugh at the name Tatum.  Yuck.
What timing for Ilaria, being stuck as a nooboo for so long!
Very sly to turn the repair person.

Good old Bob Pancakes!

I really enjoyed your references to the other families and previous chapters this time around.  The produce stand, and Yumiko's antics when she's out alone.

I like Tamari-as-a-boy too :) And Massimo - I love that first picture. Sulky toddlers are adorable (well, the virtual ones, anyway).

I've never seen Bob look so stoic either - must've been happy to help out.

Also, I love your screenshots of Caleb and the cowplant. Partly because, um, Caleb, but also, the camera angle is brilliant.

lol, Tatum. At least Ilaria's a total cutie. Can't wait to see how adorable toddler Tatum is and what his name will be. Museum value only matters if the families remain on pace together, ie they'removing into houses at the same rate. Museum value is the ultimate tiebreaker. So if the Sciarris are confident they're going to move faster than the other two lines, value doesn't matter. ;)

And I vote yes to male Tamari as well. I love his look. Congrats on getting to teen during the second week. Also, how did you get to Top-Notch Toddler so quickly with your kids? It seems like you did it in about 3 sim days and inquiring minds want to know your secret.

Massimo breaking the fourth wall was delightful!  The toddler knows about your posts, Wachette.  Be afraid.  Be very afraid  ;=)
Yumiko is so pretty, but always seems so awkward.  She's like the delightful comic relief for this household.
Can't wait to see Massimo and Ilaria grow up some more and display the excellent genes of their respective parents  :=)

Yes, Massimo, I missed you desperately! (Though perhaps not quite as much as I missed your father. ;))
Loved Diego grumbling about his portrait values. They look amazing to me! Too bad the game doesn't recognize real talent!
Very glad Selene is training up Yumiko. Get that girl some sun resistance!
Hooray for toddler airplane shots! Caleb's face is so funny. He looks like he knows he's being posed.
Loved the comparison collage. Massimo's chipmunk cheeks are wonderful! Where do they come from?
The toddlers are both crazy adorable, but I can't wait to see what they look like when they age up!

Oooh. So I haven't got vampires yet and probably won't get it for a while, but this makes them look like a lot of fun to play with! They get their own aspirations to choose from, yeah? Very cool.

How unfortunate about the values of the paintings.

Ilaria is adorable! I just want to pinch her cheeks!

« Reply #83 on: February 12, 2017, 07:35:39 AM »
@wfgodot   Your remarks about Caleb and the cake really made me laugh. In fact, my vampires don't eat regular food at all, just the plasma packs. Though lately, I've been having them eat the plasmafruit salad. It doesn't fill hunger for the toddlers, though, so I'll wait until they age up and then the household can finally sit down together for meals.
Both Ilaria and "Tatum" were born while I was playing the Benjaminz, but then they stopped ageing until the Sciarris became the active household again. Haha, yes, the families refer to each other because they are keeping tab on their rivals, trying to learn from their mistakes and achievements.

@Alex   I'm so relieved that you like Tamari-as-a-boy. I felt so terrible about the timing of our posts last night. The cowplant is very fast but it occasionally lets me get a few shots of it in action.

@dontmindme  I've been warming up to the topic of museum value gradually in the story, but the vampires will never beat the Benjaminz and Mori's in terms of museum value. The sole way the Sciarris can beat their rivals is to swiftly buy a sixth lot. (And I'm pleased you like male Tamari!)
Before starting this RDC, I practiced toddler care by attempting the 7 Toddlers Challenge. In this challenge, though, both the Benjaminz and Mori toddlers took five days to max their skills (around 1 am Sunday midnight  until around 10-11 pm Thursday), not three days. Toddlers need sleep, so I wouldn't be able to manage in three days.

@PeregrineTook   I love Massimo, too. After seeing Lilith's kid as a toddler, I can't wait for all three of them to age up. Yumiko, on the other hand, drives me rather crazy.

@FrancescaFiori  Massimo told me to tell you that, after he's had a few birthdays, you'll dearly regret having said you missed his father more! I can only guess that Massimo's full cheeks come from his mother, though she doesn't share that chipmunk look. The kids will be ageing up really soon.  Three weeks of toddlers in a row, though, is too much.

@Whirligig  The vampires have been a blast so far. Exploring new content is always fun, innit?  The cheap paintings only mean that the Sciarri vampires must not allow a tie to occur by gaining skill levels and career promotions as well as completing other requirements faster than the other households. I'm glad you find Ilaria so cute!

Week 2 with the Sciarris (Part II)

Week 2/Monday

Yumiko: I'd heard that, with the Marketable trait, these camping mascots run around $4,000 each.
Mine are usually normal-quality $750 sculptures or, when I'm focused, excellent quality for $1,500.
A great daily income for me but the Sciarris, it seems, cannot be dilly-dallying. They won't be able to beat the other bloodlines in terms of museum value.

Caleb: So nice of you to come over, Geoffrey. Would you mind if I took a sip?
Geoffrey: Sure, Caleb. I offer you my wrist, but stay away from my femoral! By the way, Caleb, how did you and I become friends, anyway?
Caleb: I'm not sure, Geoffrey, but we must have met over the past two weeks.

Diego: While Caleb practices yoga and Lilith builds logic using the telescope, Yumiko and I look after the toddlers as needed.

Selene: I'm not sure why I'm so behind the other founders in my career!
I hear they've both earned their Level 7 promotions, whereas I just became a Level 4 Scientist today!

Lilith: Yumiko has to be the absolutely ditziest vampire I've ever met. Take gardening, for example.
When she's watering, she moves between plants in bat form, even between plants in the same planter.
Then she whines about running low on vampire energy. *rolls eyes
Diego: Hey, Yumiko was Watchette's choice, not mine, okay?

Caleb: While Selene's at work, Watchette decides to build the Sciarri Museum.

Diego: It's gratifying to see my portraits of Selene in such a lavish setting.
Caleb: I know what you mean. The museum's almost nicer than the house!
No it's not!
Caleb: None of the adult bedrooms have wall or floor coverings yet!
But the museum is the symbolic heart of your lineage as a whole.

Tuesday

Selene: You know, Massimo gets a Yummy Happy +1 moodlet from eating plasmafruit salad, but it doesn't fill his hunger.
I try a bowl myself and discover that it refills thirst. Sayonara, plasma packs and frog breeding!
Looks we'll be expanding our orchard of plasmafruit trees!

Lilith: Just as Massimo and Ilaria wake up in the middle of the night to eat, I get the notice about my son's birthday.
Though I try inviting Vlad over, his answering service tells me he's sleeping.

I have the perfect name for him! He shall be called Laszlo Vatore!
Caleb: Good job, sis! We'll save the Italian names for the Sciarri line.

Lilith: Here's a collage of Laszlo with Vladislaus and I. He's got his father's hair, eyes, and eye color.
Caleb: But he has your mouth, sis.
I was a bit surprised that the little tyke grabbed the custom content silver hair himself!

Diego: There goes Lilith, using her Supernatural Speed power to travel with the sleepy Laszlo to put him to bed.
I can't wait until I have that power!

Caleb: They look so angelic and peaceful when they're sleeping! Hurry and rest up, Massimo!
You're a Happy Toddler now, but we need to keep you skilling!

Yumiko: With all three toddlers asleep, I tend the garden downstairs with help from Caleb and Lilith.
Diego: Watchette has created a new space for me to paint a mural for today's work-from-home task.

Yumiko: While Selene's at work, I want to show you her fully grown Sixam Mosquito Trap.
But it gets photobombed by that Shota Mori who happens to jog by.
What? No, of course not! I wouldn't move the Sixam Mosquito Trap just because that Mori guy jogs by!

Selene: My garden is nearly finished! Now I wait for my plants to bear cowberries and deathflowers so I can plant one of each.

Diego: After sunset, we visit the Arts Quarter so I can complete my work-from-home assignment.
Now that I'm a vampire, I appreciate being able to work my own hours more than ever.

Selene: For my Vampire Family, I need to become good friends with a fifth offspring.
So I invite along Yasmin Al Majbouri who ends up transforming immediately.

Yasmin: It's so great of you to invite me out, Mistress! I've been wanting to get to know you.
Selene: And I am very pleased to have been able to witness your transformation! Your dark form is lovely!
Yasmin: Now that we're good friends, may I drop by occasionally for training?
Selene: Yes, of course!

And now my Vampire Family requires only that I rise one more rank to Master Vampire.

Thursday

Caleb: By 1 a.m., Massimo reaches Level 3 Potty and Level 4 in the other four skills.
We're hoping that he'll be a Top-Notch Toddler within the next 24 hours or so.
Poor Laszlo. My sister is not giving him the attention he needs to excel.

Oh, now you paint a masterpiece?
Diego: What can I say? Mushrooms are my jam…

Massimo: My parents are off somewhere so I resort to skilling with Auntie Lilith.
I'm determined to be finished with my toddlers skills as soon as possible. I simply must catch up with the Mori girl.
Now, the key to making the most of Auntie Lilith is to spam her with "Teach me" socials so she can't run off like she always does.
I'm going to give that Laszlo some words of advice about that!

Selene: Massimo, my career, my requirements as Sciarri founder--so many objectives demanding my time and attention!
But no one can keep me from mah man! Life is busy but the two of us are still going strong!

Laszlo: My life is awful! Mama doesn't care about me at all. In fact, whenever I'm sad, Uncle Caleb always shows up first to ask me what's wrong.
Why don't I have my own daddy like Massimo and Ilaria do?

On Massimo's advice, I beg Watchette to move the treadmill and observatory to family inventory.
Now, at least, Mama has nothing better to do than spend time with me. *sniffle, sniffle

Coming next: The last few days of Week 2, during which Massimo and Ilaria have birthdays!

Ooooh, I love your museum build. Very, very fitting for its owners.

There's something absolutely terrifying about Massimo's face when he's making poor Auntie Lilith teach him. I think it's the eyes.

Oh, poor wee Laszlo! Nice job inheriting Daddy's silver hair, but rough luck getting his very prominent brow ridges! Maybe you'll grow out of it . . .? The head-on portrait in the collage is adorable, though!
Speaking of portraits, I have to agree with Alex, the Sciarri museum is stunning!
Such a fantastic shot of that mosquito trap! I could gaze at it all day. Oh, hey Shota! Didn't see you there. What an astounding coincidence, you jogging by at the right moment! *whistles innocently*
Many, many congratulations to Selene on actually producing some vampire progeny with a cool dark form! Bravo! And so glad to see your marriage to Caleb still going strong.
So excited for birthdays!

@Alex  Thank you! I'm trying to stretch my building muscles for this challenge, hehe.
Yes, Massimo looks absolutely focused and determined to skill up. Such a serious expression!

@PeregrineTook
Laszlo's chin looks exactly like his father's! I feel bad that he has such a slacker mom and never gets to meet his father. :(   Gah, Yumiko! But she's worked miracles in the garden, no joke!
And I've had her max Handiness, so she will make a major contribution in the near future. In the meantime, I'm leaving the woodworking table in family inventory.

@FrancescaFiori
I just knew that you would share our appreciation of the Sixam Mosquito Trap! Darn Shota, photobombing the shot like that! *shakes angry fist
And now some birthdays coming up!

Week 2 with the Sciarries, Part III

Thursday

Diego: Caleb is overly enthusiastic about parenting. His sister is the polar opposite!
Caleb: And there, Ilaria, is where you place the square shape.
Diego: Uh, do you mind, Caleb? She asked me to teach her!
Caleb: Bb-bbut, Selene's already reading to Massimo!

Lilith: Don't mind me sitting over here doing nothing.
Laszlo is asleep and "someone" stole the treadmill and observatory!

Lilith: My brother is such a perfect husband and father, it's almost sickening!
He helps Yumiko with the garden now and can even graft plants. As a foodie, he also enjoys cooking.

Diego: Look carefully, Ilaria. This is how the Lobos roll…subtle, smooth. Stop flailing your arms!

Diego: That portrait over the fireplace is in dire need, I believe, of some company.

Selene: Today, I could have sworn that my job performance didn't move an inch!
Diego: Ah, you're home at last. May I ask you to train me?
Selene: Yumiko definitely needs more training, Diego, but you harbor more potential.

Yumiko: Now that you've had some time to rest, would you train me, please?
Selene: Sure, but stop using your bat form for watering adjacent plants. Sheesh!
Yumiko (mutters under her breath): Lilith, you two-faced snitch!

Friday

Massimo: I tried so very hard to max all my skills by midnight, I really did! But I'm still Level 4 Imagination and Movement!
By 1 am, I'm too exhausted to continue. After I wake up, for sure!

My hotheaded Diego, you break it, you fix it!
Diego: mumble, grumble…

Selene: I could never in the world find a more ideal husband and father than you, Caleb.
But I can't help but wonder…do you miss your former bachelor life in Forgotten Hollow?

Caleb: Newcrest doesn't have the broody ambiance of Forgotten Hollow, but I love living with family and friends!
Also, Massimo is a treasure--he's going to grow up into a brilliant yet compassionate sim! And how could I ever regret loving you, beloved Selene?

Ilaria: Could I be any cuter? I think not!

Caleb: Has anyone seen my sister? She hasn't been around for the past several hours since Laszlo went to bed.
Diego: The last I heard, she was chatting up the toilet in the second-floor bathroom.
I'm not sure Lilith has the right to disrespect Yumiko, you know what I mean? Two hours with a talking toilet?

Lilith: Hmmph, you see how they all disrespect me? Even though I'm the only one here with Level 10 Logic?

Selene: Before work, I ask Caleb for vampiric training and it's just the boost I need.
I've reached Master Vampire rank and have completed the Vampire Family aspiration. Yay!

Oh, it's still too early for celebrating. I can't buy the tier-5 vampire powers without becoming a Grand Master.  *hangs head

Laszlo: I'm lonely, Mama. Why doesn't Papa ever come to visit? I've never even met him yet!
Lilith: I'm so sorry, honey. Your father's been really busy but he'll visit really soon!
I never seem to be able to catch him on the phone when you're awake!

Massimo: Now that I'm energized after my bath, I can just run around to build Movement! Wheee!

Massimo: I finally complete all five skills around 9 pm. Sadly, that's almost 24 hours slower than the other heirs!
Caleb: I wonder why it took Massimo longer?

For one thing, I didn’t think to disable "Vampiric Run" and "Always travel in bat form" until early Friday.
Every time a toddler would get ready to request teaching, the parent would zoom away to do something completely irrelevant.
So, my strategy for next time will be to disable those two actions and put away offending skill objects.

Selene: We're all so proud of you for becoming a Top-Notch Toddler, Massimo! Happy birthday!
Caleb: Massimo ages up into a Genius and a Whiz Kid.

Massimo: The first thing I do is play three games of chess with Papa while Lilith mentors me.

Selene: Whiz Kid isn't as fast as Artistic Prodigy because it requires an A grade.
But Massimo can finish his collection and may even start learning logic as a child.
Caleb: We're not worried! Lilith has maxed Logic and Yumiko has maxed Handiness.
Selene: Oh, we need to start on a rocket ship, dearest!

Caleb: Ladies, lock your doors and close your curtains. This one's going to be a heart-breaker!.

Saturday

Massimo: Who has time to wait until next week to start school? I've switched to Rambunctious Scamp!
Selene: The whole household's here at Desert Bloom Park. While Massimo plays on the rocket gym the rest of us catch frogs, fish, and watch.

Diego: Okay, folks. Let's hit the road! Massimo's ready to go home and practice typing!
Caleb: Um, Diego?
Lilith: Dude, check out all those garlic objects!
Diego: Oops, wrong house!

Massimo: Being the heir is sweet. I even have my own room now!
I know I won't be able to finish Rambunctious Scamp before midnight but I hope to be very close!

Massimo: Hmmm, 12 hours to get a high score on Key Commander and max my Motor skill…
If I can just stay Very Energized and have the adults Rally the Troops for me.

By the way, that's the museum where I'll be hanging my portraits and placing my collection, yo!

Laszlo: When Uncle Diego has to visit San Myshuno for work, he invites Papa and me along.
This is Papa who I'm meeting for the very first time. Does he ever think of me? Does he love me as his son?

Week 3/Sunday

Massimo: As soon as I complete Rambunctious Scamp a little past 2 am, Mama rushes to cake me up.
And now I, too, have become a teenage heir!

Niche Nerds in Newcrest: Week 2 with the Sciarris, Part III (02/13)

(Continued from the previous post)

Current Status of the Sciarri Dynasty

Selene: During Week 2, I submit my two portraits, complete my Vampire Family aspiration, and finish growing the 6 required plants in my garden.
In the image below, the planter contains Dragonfruit and Deathflower plants in back, with Cowberry-producing Snapdragon and Wolfsbane plants in front.

The Founder's remaining requirements:
   • Reach Level 10 Scientist (currently Level 6)
   • Earn two tier-5 vampire powers

Massimo: Week 2 was a very productive one for me as well.
As a toddler, I maxed all five skills and gained the Top-Notch Toddler trait.
As a child, I completed the Rambunctious Scamp aspiration.

I now have the Genius and Active traits with the Nerd Brain aspiration.
That's me, standing on the porch of the Sciarri Museum. Eat your hearts out, Moss Benjaminz and Murasaki Mori!

Coming next: Week 3 chez Benjaminz (Mansion Barons)

Oooh, I love the look of the museum. I know you keep saying you're not a builder, but really, I think you're miles ahead of me. And you do heaps of building in an RDC, so I'm sure you'll only get better. :)

OMG Lazlo's chin! and eyebrows! and cheeks! Very impressive!

Yes, that shot is definitely showing off the Sixam Mosquito Trap and is not at all gratuitous. ;)

I can relate to your parents having better things to do, and hiding away distractions so they can focus on toddlers. I tried out toddlers for the first time not too long ago (I didn't want the Morvens to be my first toddler experience) and oh my goodness, they are very hands-on this time around. But after two years of waiting, I'm not complaining too loudly...

Oh, whoops, there's another update! :P

As if you can teach a toddler to 'stop flailing her arms', Diego.

I agree, Massimo is most definitely going to be a heart breaker!

I giggled at the 'wrong house' mishap. Seems like something I would do. :P

Wow, it seems so weird aging the kids up to teens after, like, a day? It would definitely feel way too rushed for me. But congrats to Massimo for (almost) catching up! Now to find out just how many hearts he's going to break. ;-)
