Chapter 1: Getting Started
Watcher: It’s official. I am going to have this lovely Sim be the founder of the Palette Immortal Dynasty. I’ll let her introduce herself.

Crimson: Umm, what? What is an Immortal Dynasty?

Watcher: It’s a challenge for you and your descendants. Now go on, tell them your name.

Crimson: My name is Crimson Palette. I still don’t really know what exactly you want me to do.

Watcher: Well first, I want you to find a suitable group of people to move in so you can get a bit of money to start off with. You can read the exact rules of this particular challenge here .

Crimson: Woah! Immortality? Why didn’t you mention that sooner? Let’s get started! First things first, I knocked on the door to the Roomies residence.

Crimson: And awkwardly introduced myself to Gavin Richards.

Gavin: Who are you talking to?

Crimson: Oh, no one! I’m not insane, I promise!

Gavin: Okaaay then…

Crimson: So, what kind of things do you like to do?

Gavin: I like reading and writing. How about you?

Crimson: I love painting. I’m going to become a painter, you know, once I’ve become your Soulmate and have enough aspiration points to become Connected. I mean, umm, are you single?

Gavin: Well, yeah, but-

Crimson: If you and your friends move in with me, I promise that you will be able to live your life as you wish.

Gavin: What’s the catch?

Crimson: Well, I was thinking you would maybe be my husband. Your descendants will be immortal!

Gavin: Whatever happened to not being insane?

Crimson: No! I have a Watcher! I’m not crazy! If anyone, blame her.

Gavin: Ah. I’ve heard about those Watchers. They are the insane ones. So, immortality is okay with your Watcher?

Watcher: Who are you calling insane? And yes, immortality is 100% okay by me. In fact, that’s the name of the game!

Gavin: Assuming my housemates are okay with it, I suppose I’ll agree too.

Crimson: So you wouldn’t mind being my boyfriend?

Gavin: Of course I wouldn’t mind!

Crimson: So, what about the rest of you? J, you would be our pollinator, Mitchell, you’ll be our chef, and Zoe, would you mind being our fisher?

J: I would be happy to take on my role as the pollinator.

Mitch: As long as I can be a comedian as well, sure!

Zoe: If I don’t have to have a job, why not?

Crimson: Great! Let’s go!

Gavin: I know you said we don’t have to work hon, but I think I’ll keep my job.

Crimson: Sure! That would definitely help out with the bills. And wallpapering the walls.

Zoe: And you should make a museum for all the collectibles, too!

Crimson: So much to do, so little time! You and I should finish the Soulmate aspiration, Gavin.

Gavin: Let’s get started!

Crimson: I’m glad first impressions aren’t everything.

Gavin: You are a watched Sim, after all. It’s expected for watched Sims to be a bit eccentric.

Crimson: I’m going to ignore that comment because now we are best friends.

Gavin: Aren’t I supposed to propose to you?

Crimson: Maybe, but I’m a new age woman! Ha!

Gavin: You look gorgeous, Crimson. Red really suits you.

Gavin: I promise to love and cherish you as long as I shall live, whether or not you are Watched.

Crimson: I promise to fulfill my goals so that you may live on forever in our children.

Crimson: So how did I do Watcher?

Watcher: Pretty good. You got a husband, gold medal wedding, and you’ve finished ½ of Soulmate. You deserve a rest.

@Joria I'm glad you're enjoying it so far! Yes, all of the Immortals are going to be named after colours, thus the last name Palette. Honestly, the reason I didn't start this story earlier is because I was trying to decide on a naming scheme .

Watcher: Wow! You’re already up and flirting!

Crimson: We have to become Soulmates so I can purchase Connections. Only then can I join the Painter Career.

Gavin: And after all, we’re newlyweds! Aren’t we supposed to be flirting?

Watcher: Yes, yes. Carry on!

Watcher: You two are so cute.

Zoe: Don’t mind me. Just eating my cereal.

Watcher: You should start fishing. We need angel fish!

Zoe: Right, fishing. I totally know how to fish.

Zoe: I definitely do know how to be someone’s girlfriend, though!

Watcher: Yay! Now we only need three beds! Not that you had four beds to start with…

Zoe: Don’t remind me. I had to sleep on the dining chair!

Crimson: Gavin and I finished Soulmates! One aspiration down!

Watcher: Actually, no. I’m planning on having all of you Immortals completing Soulmates and buying Connections. Sorry.

Crimson: That’s alright. That means I can paint and tend to the garden.

Watcher: That’s the plan, anyway.

Crimson: Well, yeah, but we had to renew our vows first. I didn’t end up getting a promotion, though.

Watcher: Oh, that’s my fault. I forgot to get your club the Networked trait.

Crimson: I’ve started the garden! So far, we have grow fruit, carrots, mushrooms, bluebells, spinach, chrysanthemums, parsley, pears, snapdragons, strawberries, basil, grapes, daisies, apples, plantains, and lilies.

Gavin: What’s with the fence?

Crimson: Gardening is one of our club activities, but if you all tend to the garden, how can I max gardening? My solution is a gate that is locked for everyone but me. Ha. And now I’m a Creative Visionary.

Watcher: And you have a day off tomorrow!

Zoe: All of you didn’t think I could do it, did you? I caught an angel fish! Take that, non-believers!

Mitch: Zoe, we all believed you could do it.

Watcher: If I didn’t think you could do it, I would have gotten someone else to do it…

Crimson: Zoe and I have both figured out that we are pregnant!

Zoe: I want to have a girl. I’m gonna go eat some strawberries.

Crimson: Well, in that case, I’ll have some carrots. So long as we don’t have twins, everything should be okay.

Crimson: Okay. This is it. Vows renewed, thoughtful shower, and inspired club vibe, along with other assorted moodlets. I’m very inspired, and the Networked club perk has been purchased. Today is the day on which I will reach level 5.

J: Oh, stop being so dramatic.

Crimson: Well I’m actually doing my part. I haven’t seen you doing anything.

J: Actually, I take my job very seriously. I’ve formed a club, and I’ve already probably gotten Mila Munch pregnant.

J: Oh, yeah! And Jade Rosa.

Gavin: Let the poor girl go to work already. We get it, you’re good at what you do. Goodbye, Crimson!

J: And she wasn’t accepting my advances! I guess I’ll just have to wait until her sister is a young adult.

J: Yes! Here is Katrina Caliente being slightly more receptive to my advances than a certain Fyres woman.

Zoe: You can also see the two angel fish I’ve caught! We have 2 parts of the ambrosia recipe ready.

Gavin: Speaking of the ambrosia recipe, how’s the gourmet cooking skill coming along, Mitch?

Mitch: I’m already level 5! Halfway there.

Crimson: Okay, I promise that I won’t show a promotion photo every time I get promoted. I just had to show you this ridiculous hat my manager chose for me to wear. Ha!

J: Speaking of children, apparently Mila Munch and Jade Rosa have both given birth to baby girls.

Watcher: Yay! Sounds like a good place for us to stop this chapter.

Watcher: Oh, don’t worry about it. Go back to writing your own chapters, Gavin. *mumbling* We can't have them becoming self-aware...

@Joria It took me a while to think of a good name for the nooboo. I'm glad I settled with Cyan though. My little brother heard me say it and thought I was saying Simon  .

I really love those interior courtyards in your house that you've filled with flowers. I'm going to have to try something like that next time I build a house. The glass walls also provide good photobombing opportunities for Mitch.

Good job on the promotion, Crimson! I had to laugh at the hat, though. Sometimes the work uniforms in this game are just too ridiculous.

@FrancescaFiori The first time I used those terrariums was in my Wonder Child house. I sort of fell in love, and now I use them all the time  . I've been quite busy lately, but I'm so very excited to see what the nooboos look like as children. Maybe Cyan will even have red hair!

Crimson: Let’s start this day off with a party!

Zoe: Yeah, it’s totally reasonable to have a dinner party at 6:30 am.

Mitch: Lobster Tortellini prepared by me, of course.

Crimson: If you’re so hungry J, eat the food sitting in front of you!

J: But then I wouldn’t be able to complain!

Watcher: In any case, that’s another gold party for you, Crimson.

Crimson: Woo! Just 2 more to go.

Crimson: For my first emotional whim, I showed off my muscles to Gavin.

Gavin: Very impressive, dear.

Zoe: Uh huh. Whatever you say, Gavin.

Cyan: I’m creative, and I have the Artistic Prodigy aspiration.

Mitch: And here’s Anita, all grown up!

Anita: I’m Cheerful, and I also have the Artistic Prodigy aspiration.

Cyan: We can get started on our aspirations right now because we don’t have school today!

Anita: Cyan and I have finished! We’re working on Whiz Kid now!

Crimson: I got a cutting from the cherry tree in Windenburg, and I accidentally killed it. Whoops.

Crimson: Maxed the painting skill and purchased the marketable and speed cleaner rewards.

Gavin: And all before Cyan is even a teen!

Anita: I’m just glad I won’t have to cook when I’m a teen. This fruit salad isn’t very good. I think it’s probably one of the first dishes that dad made.

Cyan: Oh come on! Surely it’s not that bad. Maybe I can try cooking as a teen!

Anita: Good luck with that. Just don’t burn the house down.

Watcher: Well, that is pretty good advice. I don’t want to deal with a house fire. At least, not in a Dynasty household.

Cyan: Dynasty?

Watcher: Uh, don’t worry about that. That’s it for right now, see you next time, everyone!
