Glad I'm not the only one who has another half whose eyes glaze over when I talk about Sim stuff.
::)

Congratulations on the new stuff pack! I loved the pumpkin carving announcements! This was amazing, as usual Ratchie! I can't wait to read more. ;D

Angelfish crusaders.

All singing:We are the angelfish crusaders, we should have matching blazers. We fish in the lakes and sea to help the dynasty. We may not be courageous but if the Smiths want to live for ages. Then they need to call on the angelfish crusaders.

Pablo:One day my son this will be your job.
Dex:Yeah sure thing dad.
Pablo:The fate of generations will rest on your shoulders.
Voice:Actually his main job is to seed the town.
Pablo:You mean...
Voice:More south of the shoulder area if you were.
Pablo:But he is my  innocent baby boy.
Voice:Don't think of it as losing your innocent little boy but more gaining grandchildren.

Sparrow:I just love the outdoors.
Hebe:Ooh another breakthrough.
Dex:Why am I even here?
Pablo:So I can spend each precious moment watching you grow up.
Dex:Dad are you feeling okay?
Pablo:*holding back a sob*Don't you worry about me son.
Voice:Oh stop being melodramatic its not as if he won't enjoy his position in the family.
Dex:What position..what am I doing?
Pablo:Don't you dare tell him.
Voice:I will tell you when you are older kid.
Dex:No tell me now,is it a new chair. Am I getting a hat?
Voice:A hat how is the most exciting thing you can think of a hat.
Sparrow:Lets just say you haven't exactly been generous in the toy giving department.
Voice:Haven't I?
Sparrow:No you haven't we have had a very deprived childhood.
Voice:I was waiting to buy kids stuff when somebody was working on the aspiration.
Sparrow:Gee thanks.
Voice:I know I am all heart. Back to fishing.

Pablo:Where did you go?
Matt:Been over at Nina's. Still no baby.
Pablo:These things take time man.
Matt:Can't believe I am gonna be dad.
Sparrow:Maybe he can work on the aspiration and I can get a teddy bear before I age up.
Voice:If you get an A I will buy you whatever you want.
Sparrow:Deal. Dex too?
Voice:Dex too.
Dex:Can't you even give me a clue about my job. What does it sound like?
Voice:Well if I had to describe the sound...
Pablo:Don't even think about it.
Voice:I wasn't even.
Pablo:Yes you were.
Voice:Okay I won't tell him.
Pablo:Good.
Voice:When the time comes to explain the llamas and the other llamas, You get to do it.
Pablo:Wait...what?

Man.. I don't know what tune you were doing the angelfish crusaders to but I did it to Fred's song from Big Hero 6.  Just so you know.  And of course now I'm doing the it's all about those whims.  Thanks Rachel.

Also there seems to be a broken link after that awesome talk with Pablo about Dex being a pollinator. :D

"One day son, this will be your job" took me back to Monty Python and the Holy Grail and the Swamp castle part of the movie.

King - One day, son, all this will be yours
Prince H - What, the curtains?
King - Not the curtains lad <etc and so forth>

@ratchie After picture 3, there is a /url missing the closing ]. That would be what causes all the text between pictures 3 and what should be picture 5 into a link. If you put the ] after that /url, it should go back to as it should be, the text should stop being a link and picture 4 will appear once more.

Hope that helps - Dek

Rica the tune was based on all the relentlessly cheerful my little pony songs I hear on a daily basis.  Dek the scene with the one day my son line was inspired by monty Python for future reference always imagine Pablo with that accent.
Thanks for the technical help too.

I hear that song a lot too so don't feel bad.  Though it's more Rainbow Rocks than MLP half the time.  We just happened to have just finished Big hero 6.  It's the little things that stick in your head, you know?

This is such a funny conversation.  I'm quite aware of the MLP songs as well (I have a 4 year old), AND we've been watching Big Hero 6.  It's on HBO (or one of those channels).  We watch it every day.  She also loves (LOVES) Jurassic World.

My little almost 3 year old nephew is right into Paw Patrol and Peppa Pig and Octonauts at the moment, and has just finished a focus on Dinosaur train, but not dinosaurs in general. Glad to hear what we've got to look forward to as he gets older. lol, though I hope his parents steer him away from MLP

On a whim and a prayer.

So it was Sunday at the Smiths and we declared it whim day. They all pretty much threw up whims to meet new people so the obvious choice was family day out at the pool.

Hebe:I have a hat.
Clara:Erm yes you do.
Hebe:Do you have any interests that you wish to discuss with me.
Clara:Not about hats.
Hebe:May your day be brightened.
Clara:(looking for nearest exit)Err quite.
Voice:I think we have covered that whim. On to the next.

Hebe:Whee!
Voice:And you kept your hat on colour me impressed.
Hebe:Eat your heart out gravity.
Voice:So lets see what is next on the list.
Hebe:I will whisper it to you.
Voice:Are you really sure you want to do that.
Hebe:Stop clicking it away. I am just going to make the whim again.
Voice:Okay if you insist. But you have to wait.

Sparrow:So watch me whip...
Edna(old lady):I don't understand dear.
Sparrow:Watch me ne ne.
Edna:Is that some kind of cheese?
Sparrow:Ooh watch me watch me..
Edna:I am watching you dear. Does this child belong to anyone?

Dex:Erm Mum do you mind.
Hebe:Did anybody else hear that?
Voice:When did you suddenly start to question the things you hear or see for that matter.
Dex:Help cannot breath...possibly going to die.
Voice:Shush death by squishing isn't a thing yet.
Hebe:Seriously I can hear something.
Dex:Help...
Voice:Right back to the homestead.
Hebe:Aren't you forgetting something.
Voice:Oh yes. Date night.

Dex:I love you Mr Whumpy!
Voice:Who named the unicorn Mr Whumpy?
All real life children deny all knowledge of  Mr Whumpy and indeed the Sims in general.
Voice:Hmmm. Anyway back to the whim palooza.
Sparrow:I wish to talk to a teddy bear.
Voice:Let me just go to buy mode...no wait we have the skelly bear. You could talk with that.
Sparrow:Is that safe.
Voice:Its a teddy bear what harm could it do.

*muffled chattering*
Sparrow:I bow to your will...
Voice:What did I miss?
Sparrow:Nothing just talking to the bear.
Voice:Oh you kids and your imagination.
Sparrow:*listens intently and then slowly tilts head to one side*:Yes?
Voice:So do you want to go complete the make a new friend whim?
Sparrow:I already did that.
Voice:Well that is good then.
Sparrow:Yes it is.

Hebe:Once upon a time in a land where bears inexplicably not only cook porridge but understand the concept of ownership...
Sparrow:Mum I don't think that is how the story goes.
Hebe:A young girl with stereotypical blonde curly locks decides to break into a house and steal what appears to be the families only sustenance.
Sparrow:This is a very unusual story.
Voice:You have a very unusual mother.

Hebe:I wish to transform something.
Voice:What are you hoping you get.
Hebe:Its a secret.

Hebe:Tada!
Voice:Were you hoping for a fire?
Hebe:Not as such no.
Voice:See this is why I never let you transform in the house.
Hebe:*jumping up and down*Fire fire!
Voice:Yeah that always helps.

Pablo:Step aside ladies.
Hebe:Ooh my hero I have a whim to whoohoo.
Voice:You have a whim to go to work.
Hebe:No I don't.
Voice:Yes you do. Whim day is officially over. You are all back on my schedule.
Hebe:Spoil sport.

Next time.

Mr.  Whumpy smiling with Dex for the win!
I'd been wanting to get a close-up of Dexter's face as a child.
Both children are really darling.

Rachel, I have tears in my eyes from all the giggling I've been doing. I don't know what I liked best -- Hebe's conversation with Clara about her hat (and the expression on Clara's face) or Sparrow bowing to the will of Skelly Bear. Anyway, it looks like Hebe's whim to woohoo was granted.

I loved the Clara conversation, too. I had to pause a minute to chuckle. The way you interpret sim conversations cracks me up.

What a hilarious chapter!
I love that "take that gravity!"
As well as the Goldilocks story Hebe told... this is all too funny! You're such a great story teller (even if Hebe tells questionable stories... ::) )!

The highlight for me was the Edna/Sparrow conversation.  Probably something to do with lip sync battle but still awesome.  Like all of your stuff.

What is with Sims and sitting on each other in this game?  Must have one body  merge per week!
