Lei is definitely her mother's daughter.  Naughty from the get go and adorable as well.  She took learning about being a spare very well.  I can just imagine the craziness she'll get into.

@Shewolf13 I thought long and hard about having another child, admittedly at first it was a way of getting easy points and potions but she has been such a delight to play with 

@oshizu When Lei got the call to ditch school I wasn't sure what to do so I accepted to see how it when. Greg is either mean or evil and they started to fall out to my amusement. I felt mean having mother and daughter perform mean interactions but they made up so fast. It's safe to say everyone knows Kessy can get away with being mean some of the time.

@Magpie2012 It's the tagline from The Lost Boys. I watched that movie so often as a teen, lol. Although I do love Lana, Lei has been a lot more fun as the rules don't apply to her.

@Joria Lei is pretty much based on my eldest niece, she's such a cutie and ever so naughty. Sadly my niece has not been well for at least six weeks now and the last time I saw her she had a blood test and I just cried my eyes out seeing her so scared 

I was going to have the next chapter up today but I've been in bed since yesterday, feeling much better today so I'll update from Monday instead.

22: The Not-So-Wild Hunt

“Mum, it says on Carl and Pam’s forum that she’s supposed to be here,”


“Try scrolling down. Wait, what’s this?”


“Did you find something?”


“Some red guy terrorizing townies, looks awesome,”


“Mum, we’re on a mission here!”


“Alright, we just have to be patient and she’ll turn up some time.”





They didn’t have to wait for long, Jasmine Holiday was easily spotted in her magenta top.


“Jas, that gorgeous face, the cute pixie cut, I know for sure we’re related,”


“No, I don’t think so,”


“Come on, who’s your daddy?”


“Ma’am, I am telling you, we – are – not – related.”


“Spoilsport. Fine, just gimmie the freebie.”





Once home, Lana set about planting the new growfruit trees, making space for them by throwing out plants of lesser quality.





Several days later her garden was thriving, the glowfruits were a bit tricky to deal with as they made black puffs dance before her eyes.





Soon she had evolved them to perfection.





“Hey kids – except for the Villareal one – how would you like to go on an egg hunt tomorrow?”


“Pfft, that’s for babies,” Lana laughed.


“Aw, why are you so mean?”


“’Cause you’re a Villareal and you need to get home, right now!”





“What’s an egg hunt, mum?”


“It’s something Sims in another ’verse do to celebrate a holiday called Easter. You go around collecting hidden eggs – chocolate ones – and the one who picks the most wins a prize.”





“Like I said, it’s for babies,”


“Na-uh, a baby doesn’t know what an egg is!”


“Girls, play nice.”





The next day preparations were made.


Should I stuff this behind the cereal box?





Then the hunt began, it was Lei verses Ru.


“Come on, eggs, where are you?”





“A purple one!” Lei unwrapped the egg and placed it in her basket.





Ru was having similar luck.





“Another one, another one,” Lei sang as she swung her basket back and forth.





“OK, this is way too easy.”





“Better hurry, Lei, I’m catching up to you,”


“Oof, I’m thinking,”





“Hey, someone forgot to wrap this one. Poor little egg, I’ll take good care of you.”





“So, two of us and two eggs. How about we take one each?”


“Hold it. I’m a kid so I should get both of them,”


“That’s a little greedy,”


“No, Ru, you see at my age it’s OK to lose teeth – they grow right back out again. You, on the other hand, will have to get like surgery or something major to replace those pearly whites.”


“When you put it like that who am I to argue? I’ll grab this one for you,”


“Thanks, Ru! I knew you were a good big brother,”





“What’s taking so long?”


“Do you think I was too mean, mum?”


“No, you did great.”





“Hey, what’s all this?”


“Happy Easter, Lei!” Everyone yelled together.


“You did all this for me? Why?”


“To remind you and everyone that even if we don’t get much ‘screen time’ we are Sims of the extraordinary kind, maxing skills and careers are easy as pie.”


“I get dibs on the chocolate bunny!”





“You know, this whole idea was dad’s,”


“You’re the best daddy in the world!”





“If Lei hadn’t gone into your bedroom I think you’d have been caught setting things up,”


“How did you manage to keep her in there?”


“By letting her take all the eggs for herself,”

I adored this chapter!  The little wrapped eggs everywhere, with Lei looking cute next to each one--what a delightful sight!

The group pose was too fabulous! Ru has turned into an absolute cutie-pie and so cool how Lana and Ru are book-ending the 'rents and Lei!
And I like how not-a-jock Paolo looks in your shot!

What a sweet chapter!  It was so cool to see them hunting for eggs and toting the little baskets.  I loved seeing Kessy (big bad mean Kessy) hide the eggs.  And I admit it, I enjoyed spotting them myself in the background.  Neat family portrait, turned out much better than my attempts.  Lol!  A great benefit to poses.

What imaginary basket?  I totally saw them in all of 'em   Such a sweet update with all the eggs and stuff.  You're so good at finding things for them to do that is fun.  You made me laugh when Kessy found Artie and then she tried to convince Jasmine they were related.  Awesome update as always

@oshizu Ru and Paolo's poses are meant for female sims, they turned out OK though. Paolo's pose is based on a K-pop girl group dance moves, I was sceptical about using it because those kind of poses tend to be so feminine ie butt sticking out or a hand across the chest but he looks great xD

@chetanhaobijam Lei and Ru are so cute, I don't document it much but they seem to get along much better than Lana and Lei (I kind of force their relationship sometimes).

@wfgodot Hey, I love your family portraits and holiday specials - you're creative to use the game items while i went the cheat route for Easter CC lol.
