A blah chapter???  Seriously? Ally, you killed off Alyssa!!! :o  I wanted her to find happiness although getting away from her parents and Anthony, raising Sophia and having her own shop did bring her some measure of happiness.  I guess I wanted to see Alyssa find happiness in a love relationship with another Sim.  So now it is up to Sophia to find happiness.  Knowing your penchant for drama Ally, any happiness will short-lived.  RIP Alyssa.  :'(  :'(

Well done, Ally. I was actually thinking you would have shown us Alyssa's death at the cafe in the last chapter, but now that I read the follow-up, I think you made the right choice. It's an especially emotionally ripping way for a death to happen - just hours away from meeting her grandkid! - and I expect it to hover over the others for a long, long time. Great drama.

Just caught up.  Wow.  Don't know whether to laugh or cry, both I guess.  I hate that Alyssa is gone without ever holding her grandchild, but somehow I feel she knows all is well and maybe she is finally at peace.  Ellie is adorable and so looking forward to her adventures.  Would love to see a marriage.  Sophia doesn't seem to be quite as strong as Aly but still, it's a really hard decision and turbulent life she's had so far.  Great writing as usual!

Sophia's POV

"You think we'll be in this house forever?" I asked as I made breakfast.

"No, it's temporary." Avery said.

"Why?" I asked.

"Well, there's only two bedrooms." He grinned.

I looked at him funny.

"We will need more than one bedroom silly."

I smiled, "Now Avery what are we suggesting?"

"That we'll need nine more."

"I think it's better we break up now, because I am not having nine more kids." I laughed.

He cracked up laughing. I walked over with both of our plates of eggs and bacon.

"Ellie should be up for her feeding in about an hour." I said looking at the clock.

"She really is a good baby."

We finally had a handle on her schedule and thankfully she was sleeping through the night. It was almost her birthday and I could not believe how fast time had flown. I wasn't at the cafe much anymore, but I was still the owner of it. I honestly was loving being a mother to Ellie and couldn't imagine leaving her for hours at a time. Thankfully the cafe was doing so well that we did not have to worry about money and Avery didn't have to get a job.

...

"Do you think I'm disappointing mom?" I asked.

Avery and I were watching a movie and I was laying so that my head was resting in his lap. He was gently stroking my hair.

"How so?"

"She worked so hard to get me my cafe, and now I am barely there. Do you think she's disappointed?"

"Of course not! If anything she is proud of you. You have given your child an amazing future and will be able to provide her with everything she needs." He told me.

"Yeah, I guess. I mean she wasn't able to do that for me because of my so called father. She did the best she could and I could tell that she wanted to be able to do more."

"Of course she did."

"I love the idea you know? Of being a mom and being able to spend time with her."

"And she would want you to be able to do that as well, and I want you to be able to be there for her too."

I looked up at him and smiled.

"Thank you for being here." I said.

"I wouldn't dream of going anywhere." He told me.

...

The weeks passed and it was Ellie's birthday. My baby wasn't going to be a baby anymore. I wondered who she would be, and who would she look like? I hoped that she'll have Avery's amazing red hair (even though he hates it) and my eyes. I hoped that she will follow her dreams, no matter how big or how small they are. I felt arms wrap around me as I did the dishes.

"Penny for your thoughts?" Avery asked resting his chin on my shoulder.

"Our baby grows up today."

"She does."

I was quiet.

"Are you sad?" He asked.

"Yeah." I pouted.

He kissed my cheek.

"I hope she has your hair." I told him.

He groaned, "All the kids will pick on her"

"You don't know that."

"Oh, I know plenty about it."

I smiled.

"What do you think she'll be when she grows up?" I asked him.

"A doctor."

"Really?"

He nodded.

"I think she'll be a famous singer."

I looked at him and he was just staring at me.

"What?" I asked.

"You are amazing, you know that?"

I blushed.

...

My baby girl wasn't a baby anymore! Meet my child.

And with having a birthday meant trading in her bassinet for a bed, and a complete makeover to her whole bedroom.

"Ma?"

"In the kitchen!"

Ellie walked in and plopped onto the chair at the table.

"What's wrong princess?"

"Do I have to go to school?"

I stopped what I was doing and walked over to her.

"Yes."

She groaned.

"What's bothering you?"

"What if they don't like me? The people in my class?"

"It'll take time, but you'll make friends honey."

"I guess."

"It'll be okay, I promise."

I kissed her forehead.

A Few Hours Later

"MAMA! MAMA!"

I whipped around and saw Ellie running from her room.

"Ellie?! What's wrong?!"

"There are monsters! Monsters under my bed!" She cried.

She tugged at my hand until I followed her into her bedroom.

"Okay monsters! I am commanding you to leave this room and let my daughter sleep! She has her first day of school in the morning!" I scolded.

"No mama! That's not how you do it!" She cried out.

"How am I suppose to get rid of them?"

"You have to spray them!"

"Spray them?"

"Yes! With the monster spray!" She told me.

I had to act quick and grabbed the spray bottle with water in it.

"Go away monsters!" I scolded as I sprayed all over her bed.

"Thank you mama."

"You're welcome, now get back to bed princess."

...

I walked out of the bathroom and into our bedroom. I turned off the lights and crawled into bed next to Avery covering the both of us up.

"She is so worried about tomorrow." I said closing my eyes.

"Things will be okay." He said.

"I hated the first day of school, I had no idea who anyone was and got made fun of because I didn't have a lot of clothes." I told him.

"Kids are jerks."

"I'm worried about her."

"She'll be fine." He said kissing my forehead.

I snuggled into his chest and began to slowly fall asleep.

"Sophia?" Avery whispered.

"Mmm." I mumbled.

"Are you sleeping?"

I made a noise.

"Marry me." He whispered.

"Whatever you say." I said patting his chest, I was half asleep and had no idea what he said.

I felt him chuckle.

"Sophia, did you hear me?"

"Sure baby."

"What did I say?"

"You asked me to marry you." I said like it was nothing.

It clicked as soon as I said it. I shot up and looked at him, two seconds ago I was almost asleep and now I was wide awake.

"Avery- what-"

He sat up and reached for his drawer, he opened it and pulled something out of it before closing it. He sat up and faced me while opening the blue velvet jewelry box. I covered my mouth as I stared wide eyed at the gorgeous diamond ring.

"I love you, and seeing you with Ellie has made me fall even more in love with you. I know I've made mistake and I know I am not perfect, but with you by myself I know that I will become a better man. So will you, Sophia, please do me the honor of becoming my wife?"

Tears were running down my cheeks. I couldn't speak so I just nodded quickly.

"Yes?!" He asked.

I nodded more.

He pulled me in a hug before giving me a kiss. He pulled the ring out of the box and placed it on my ring finger on my left hand.

I was engaged!

Ellie is a child and Avery and Sophia are engaged! Let me know what you think! =D

It's a very well-written happy chapter. :)

I just hope there is more tension to come. I'm not evil, I swear! I just think your characters are at their best when they are struggling. You really know how to write difficulty. ;)

Months passed since Avery asked me to be his wife and life couldn't be better. I decided to sell the cafe to a really nice couple who promised to keep me informed of how Tree Hill Cafe was doing. It was a tough decision to make and I struggled with it for a while, however I wanted nothing more to focus on being a mother and soon a wife. Avery supported me one hundred percent and then some and agreed that he would get a job if ever our cafe funds ran low. Ellie was in school now and loving every minute of it. She had a few close friends that she hung out with at school and outside of school. I was so happy she was doing well in school and had easily made friends. I didn't have many friends growing up and I wished I had been more social at the time. I wouldn't change a thing though if I went back because who knows if I would've ended up where I am today.

"Do you like this house Ellie?" Avery asked.

"I guess." She shrugged.

"How would you feel if we got a new house at some point?" I asked her.

"I'd be okay with it."

She was a pretty laid back kid. Never made a fuss and was able to make herself a snack and even lunch sometimes. That didn't stop me from taking care of her, she was my baby and I never wanted her to grow up.

...

"So, where do you want to get married at?" Avery asked.

"The backyard."

"Really? You don't want to look around at places?"

"No, I want it to just be me, you, and of course Ellie."

He nodded.

"Do you think she's happy?" I asked.

"Of course!" He said.

I nodded.

"Ellie?" I called.

"Yes mama?" She called.

"Where are you?"

"Cleaning the bathroom!"

Did I mention she was a neat freak? Everything had to be clean and perfect. "Everything has its place." she would say to us all the time.

"Ellie please don't get any of that on your shirt." I said walking into the kitchen where my child was eating leftovers.

"Yes mama." She replied.

...

I hummed as I filled the bird feeders, Avery got them for me at a garage sale down the street. It became my morning routine to sit on the porch and watch the birds while I waited for it to be time to get Ellie up and ready for school.

Then the days counted down and it was now our wedding day.

I walked outside in the dress I picked and my heart began to race. What was he wearing? Was his hair the same? Would he cry? Would he like my dress? I took a deep breath to try to calm the butterflies in my stomach.

"Wow." He whispered as I finally reached him by the tree in the backyard.

"Good wow?" I asked.

"I'm speechless, you are simply stunning."

I blushed.

"This is it, isn't it? You sure you don't want to run away?" I joked.

"Would never dream of doing that again." He told me.

I smiled.

He took my hands in his and suddenly I was calm. He looked me in the eyes and gave me a silent message with his eyes. Like he was telling me that everything was going to be okay and that our lives would be perfect. He was the first to read his vows that he wrote and by the time he finished I had to use a tissue to wipe my eyes and my dripping nose.

"I'm sure you want to marry my now that there's snot dripping down my face." I half laughed, half sobbed.

"You never looked more beautiful." He said.

"Nice save."

I finally pulled myself together enough to read him mine. They were simple and sweet, and I could've sworn I saw him tear up a few times. He cleared his throat and tried to not let himself break down and cry like I did. He shakily took out the black velvet box that held my wedding ring in it and slipped it onto my hand. I smiled and beamed at how beautiful it was next to my engagement ring. I followed in his steps and slid his gold band on his finger.

"Well, there's only one other thing to do." He said.

"What are you waiting for?"

We were officially married. I was a married woman with a beautiful daughter and an amazingly handsome husband.
Next step: Getting Ellie to her teenage years, and surviving those years.

To say the least, I was one lucky girl.

Kind of a short chapter, but they are now married!!! =D

Ellie is a good kid.  I wish one of my kids would have cleaned their bathroom.  But the wedding was so beautiful.  Now I hope that Sophia and Avery find happiness or do we have to wait for Ellie to be the one who does?  I'll be reading.

I walked in the house after my run and tossed my keys on the table. I was about to walk into the kitchen to get Ellie's after school snack ready when I saw suit cases packed. My heart sank.

"...Avery?" I asked, my voice cracking with fear.

No answer.

"Avery!" I nearly screamed.

He came running out of the bedroom.

"What?! What's wrong?!" He asked, startled.

I pointed to the suitcases, "What are these?"

"Suitcases."

"I know, but for what?"

"For our trip of course."

I looked at him strange.

He walked over to me and grabbed my hands.

"Let's go somewhere! Somewhere fun!"

"What about Ellie?" I asked him.

"She will be coming of course, we leave as soon as she gets home from school."

I smiled a little bit, "Honey, this is sweet but Ellie only has about four or five days of vacation time at school. If she misses any more then that her grades will be effected."

"I have this all planned out. We all will go as a family, and then on day five of the vacation Ellie and I will head home so she can be back at school. You will stay for the remainder of the week and have a few days by yourself for quiet and relaxation."

"You really are something." I smiled.

He smiled and leaned in for a kiss.

So after Ellie returned home from school and the bags were packed into the taxi, we headed off to the surprise location. I've never been on a trip like this before, the closest thing was when mom and I moved to our little park. Before we got there I was blindfolded.

"Avery!"

"It's a surprise."

I grumbled.

I felt the taxi cab come to a stop and the doors open and close. My door opened and a hand, which belonged to Avery, grabbed mine and helped me out of the taxi. I heard the trunk close and the taxi cab drive away.

"Our stuff."

"The taxi driver unloaded it, Ellie is taking care of it right now."

"Was she in on all this?!" I gasped.

"I am not allowed to disclose this kind of information."

I growled.

"Open." Avery said as he removed my blindfold.

"Oh my..."

"How did you do all this?!"

"I have my ways." He beamed.

Tears rushed to my eyes as I ran inside. I felt like a child again, I explored this huge house that was all ours for the next seven days. While I explored the house more Avery and Ellie went in the backyard to play a game.

I walked into the kitchen. It was about dinner time. The appliances weren't as nice as ours were, but it was nice. Our entire house could probably fit into this house.

"Avery this is absolutely amazing." I said.

We were getting ready for bed.

"I'm so glad that you like it."

"I love it."

We got under the covers and I curled up next to Avery laying my head on his chest.

"You think that Ellie is okay up there?" I asked tracing his muscles.

"I'm sure she is sound asleep."

I became sad all of a sudden, he could feel the change in my mood and looked down at me.

"Hey, where did you just go?" He asked.

"She's going to be a teenager soon."

"I know, she's growing up."

He kissed my forehead before we turned in for the night, not before spending some quality time alone first though.

...

"This is so cool mommy!"

"I'm glad you are enjoying it!"

"Did you sleep alright?" I asked her.

"Uh huh! It's so neat up there!"

I smiled.

"Mama?"

"Yes?"

"If you and daddy have another baby, will we share a room?"

"Well, not if you don't want too."

"I don't know, it might be neat."

She started humming as she roasted another marshmallow, and I smiled at the thought of another little baby.

"I'm going to start lunch."

"I want cereal!"

"For lunch?"

"Yeah!"

"Okay, come back to the house in five minutes and we will eat together."

...

"What are you doing out here Ellie?" Avery asked.

"Homework."

He smiled, "You amaze me sometimes, we are on vacation and you still are doing school work."

"I can't get behind."

He smiled and kissed her forehead.

"Our child is outside working on homework."

I laughed and shook my head. He walked up behind me resting his hands on my hips and laying his chin on my shoulder.

"How's mama doing?" He asked.

"Amazing."

He kissed my cheek.

"I don't want you guys to leave in a few days." I sulked.

"I know, I don't want too either."

I finished cooking dinner and we ate at the island and talked about our favorite parts of the vacation so far. We had gone hiking in the mountains, tried out fishing at the creek, and laid in the backyard and looked at the stars. I was truly happy.

...

The last night together came way too fast. In the early morning I would say goodbye to my husband and daughter as they head home. I tried to tell Avery that I wanted to go home with them, but he insisted on me staying to get some alone time. Alone time would be amazing, but it would be my first time away from not only Avery, but my little girl who wasn't so little anymore.

"No fair! You cheated!" I joked.

"Let's play again!"

"Okay, but you go first!"

Avery ended up winning again.

"Ellie! Time for bed!" I called from the back door.

She was outside running around and trying to catch bugs to take home.

"I caught a butterfly!"

"Nice! Take it to daddy and he'll pack it up!" I said sliding the glass door shut and locking it.

We tucked her into he bed before heading downstairs and spending some time together.

"I don't want you to leave." I whispered.

"I know." He said at breakfast.

"Make sure she has her homework packed and ready in her school backpack."

"I will."

"Oh and she likes grapes and a grape jelly sandwich for her after school snack. It has to be grape jelly or else she will just eat the crust. She's allowed one hour of TV, but only after her homework is finished. Friends are allowed to come over after school as long as homework is done and they are home safely by supper time. Princess pajamas for bedtime along with a bedtime story and do not forget to check for monsters. Also-"

"Babe, she's my daughter too remember?" He laughed.

"I'm sorry." I said biting my lip.

"Don't be, you are just worried."

"I am, I'm going to miss her." I said getting emotional.

He had me stand up so he could hug me, he rubbed my back as I brushed the few tears that escaped from my eyes.

"I'm ready!" Ellie said coming downstairs.

I turned around and gave her a hug.

"Mama, are you crying?"

"Mama is just going to miss you so much."

"Me too mama!"

I walked them out and watched as they loaded up the taxi. Avery gave me one last look and blew me a kiss. I waved goodbye as I watched my heart drive away slowly.

I looked around before going back inside. The house felt cold and lonely all of a sudden. I looked around the house before going to sit down, but I got up within seconds.

What was one suppose to do in this alone time?

Finally the last day showed up. I was in the backyard and decided to call Avery.

"Hey. I miss you too. It's nice, yeah. Yeah, thank you Avery for all this. How's Ellie? And school? That's great! Aww I miss her. I love you too. The taxi called last night and confirmed, yeah. I'll be home by ten in the morning. Okay, give her kisses and hugs! I love you. Bye."

I went to bed with a smile on my face that night knowing that tomorrow my heart would be full again and I would be reunited with my family.

Cute little chapter! =]

"I'm sure it's nothing." Avery said.

I wiped my eyes, "It has to be something."

"Let's not worry until we get the results."

I cried some more and he pulled me closer.

"Where is Ellie? I need to go check on her." I said trying to get up.

He pulled me back down, "She is at a friends house. I had the mother of the friend pick her up from school."

"Do we know her?! Do we know where she lives?"

"I got all the information, it's on the fridge."

"Avery what are we going to do?" I cried.

"Take it one day at a time." He said before giving me a kiss.

...

"Mama, is everything okay?" Ellie asked, she was too smart for her own good.

"Everything is fine." I said, more for me then her.

I smiled as I handed her plate of food.

"Did you do your homework?" I asked.

"No." She said, guilty.

"Ellie. You know the rules apply no matter where you are."

"I'm sorry."

"Dinner, homework, bed."

"But-"

"Nope, no TV time tonight."

She groaned as she picked at her food.

I walked into the living room and picked up the scattered toys that were laying on the floor, the couch, the desk, they were everywhere. It's about about a month since the vacation. About a week after I got really sick, to the point where I was hospitalized because I passed out from dehydration. Normally we would've known what was wrong right away, but the hospital was having some kind of issues with the results. They blamed it on technology and how the records were now stored on their database. It was very frustrating. I was still sick from time to time but nothing like what happened before.

A Week Later

"Last day of grade school picture!" Ellie cheered she she popped out of no where with a camera.

I smiled and kissed her forehead. Today was Ellie's birthday and like she said the last day of grade school. She was the one to wake us up early this morning due to excitement. She had her outfit picked out and her lunch packed away into her backpack. Her last assignments were complete and ready to turn in.

"Big test today, you'll need all the energy you can get." I said handing her a bottle of orange juice to drink on the bus.

"Thanks mama!" She said as she rushed out the door.

"Avery, she's growing up." I sighed.

"Yes dear, they tend to do that sometimes."

I laughed and smacked him playfully.

He pulled me in his arms and rubbed my back.

"Are you happy?" I asked him.

"What? Of course! Are you?"

"Couldn't get much happier then I already am." I grinned.

He smiled and kissed me.

...

"Mmmm something smells good." Avery said.

I smiled.

"What are you making?"

"Something special for Ellie's birthday. The cake is baking in the oven as we speak."

"You know, this house is getting smaller now that she's getting bigger."

I looked at him.

"We should look into getting a bigger place." He said.

"You think we can afford it?"

"Anything for my girls."

"I'm home!"

"My baby is going to be a teenager!" Avery said hugging her.

"I'm not a baby!"

"You will always be my baby." He told her.

"Alright let's get this show on the road!" I smiled from the kitchen.

I made everyone their plate before making mine and joining them at the table.

"Can I remodel my room?" Ellie asked.

"Well, how would you think about a whole new room in a new house?" Avery asked.

"Cool!"

"Yeah?" I asked.

"Yeah!" She beamed.

I smiled at Avery as we finished our meals.

"Cake time!"

And like that, my baby girl was a teenager!

A Week Later

"I got it!" I called.

I rushed to the phone and answered it.

"Hello? Yes this is her. Oh, hello doctor. You do?"

I was walking, but the next thing the doctor said to me caused my knees to give out and for me to sit on the couch.

"Are you sure? Okay, yes. Yes, thank you."

I hung up the phone and stared at the ground.

"Avery!" I screamed, tears starting to fall from my eyes.

He came running from the bedroom, when he saw me crying on the couch he knelt in front of me.

"What's wrong?!" He asked.

"The doctor just called."

"And?"

I wiped my eyes even though it was useless.

"And, it turns out that I'm..."

"Baby what is it?"

"I'm pregnant again." I said.

A smile spread across my face as I watched his eyes light up.

"You're pregnant?" He asked half laughing.

I nodded.

"Another baby?!"

I laughed and nodded again.

He pulled me to my feet and hugged me tightly, "We're having another baby."

"Well, we better start house hunting." Avery said.

I smiled and let my hand fall to my stomach.

Ellie's a teenager, they are moving, and another baby is on the way! Whoa! Did life get more interesting or what?!

We were fully moved into our home. Ellie was all set up in her room which she got to design herself. We learned at the career day we attended at her high school that our daughter wanted to be an author. So, we decided to set up one of the spare rooms into her very own office in which only she was allowed in. This would give her the privacy and focus that she would need to be inspired and write books. I was amazed at the size of this house and the backyard, it even had a green house! I made sure to hire a gardener to help me keep up with the plants. We would probably have to hire a maid as well, especially now with another baby on the way.

"Babe, where did we put the box with the dishes in it?" I called.

"What do you think you are doing?" Avery asked.

I looked at him like a kid with their hand in the candy dish.

"...Unpacking?"

"Sit down woman, you are about to pop!"

I groaned.

He just giggled and helped me sit on a stool at the island.

"Now, give me all the orders and I will fulfill every wish."

"Every wish eh?"

"Yes ma'am."

"I wish for a kiss from my amazing husband."

"Well I believe I can arrange that."

He walked over and planted a soft kiss on my lips before going back to unpack the kitchen stuff from the boxes.

Here was our house:

...

"Honey?"

"Yes?"

"Could I trouble you for a foot massage?" I asked.

"Of course."

"Does that hurt?" He gasped.

"Yes and no, it feels good but my feet are just on fire."

"Baby, this is your father! You stop hurting mommy's feet okay?!" He scolded my stomach.

I giggled.

He finished the foot massage and I changed into more comfortable clothes. I walked upstairs and walked into Ellie's room.

"Ellie, how is homework coming?" I asked.

"Good, I just finished it."

She stood up and smiled at me.

"Can I?" She asked motioning to my stomach.

"Of course!"

She smiled and placed her hands on my stomach. I doubled in size as I entered my third, and thankfully, final trimester.

"Do you want a sister or a brother?" I asked her.

"I don't know, either would be nice. I just want a healthy sibling."

"Me too." I smiled.

...

There was so much going on in our lives right now. We were about to have another baby, we just moved into a new house, and Avery and I will be celebrating our birthdays soon after the baby is born. As much as it was hectic and stressful at times I loved every second of it. I was a wife and a mother, two people, soon three, depended on me and needed me. That is the best feeling in the world to be that important to someone.

I hummed as I did light yard work before Avery caught on and insisted I rested. He was so protective of me and worried, it was cute but at the same time annoying. This house was so big that I was thankful that we had the extra room for another baby. This move was our first and last, this was for sure our forever home.

"Okay, I'll make grilled cheese." I said as my stomach growled.

I patted my belly gently as I headed inside to make another grilled cheese sandwich.

I finished eating and went to find Avery.

"Hey beautiful."

I looked over my shoulder.

"That's funny, there must be another girl in the room."

"Only my beautiful wife."

"More like whale."

I smiled and walked over to him.

"Are you ready to be a daddy again?" I asked kissing his cheek.

"Of course."

I took a deep breath and we both rested our hands on my belly.

"Any day now." I whispered.

...

Avery's POV

I was in the nursery making sure everything was ready. I was a bundle of nerves, were we ready? Did we have everything we needed? I was hiding my feelings from Sophia because she didn't need the stress.

"AVERY!"

Nothing stopped a mans heart faster then his wife's scream of pain. Everything started to move into slow motion as I dropped the blanket I was holding and rushed down the stairs.

"SOPH?! SOPH WHAT IS WRONG?!" I screamed running in to the kitchen.

She was doubled over and clutching her stomach.

"It's time! The baby... ah! The baby is coming!" She hissed through the pain.

I rushed over to her and placed a hand on her back.

"Do you want to go to the hospital?" I asked.

"No! No."

So there we were in the room, she was laying on the bed suffering through the contractions. Each contraction was more painful then the last one and there was nothing I could do to help her besides holding her hand and giving her ice chips. Hours passed and it was finally time to have our baby. I held her hand through the pain and told her how strong and beautiful she was. I occasionally winced as she squeezed my fingers so tight that they lost all the color and blood. Soon enough a cry filled the room and she gasped for air.

"A boy!" I said.

She half laughed and half cried.

"A boy?"

I wrapped him in a blanket and kissed his forehead before handing him over to Sophia.

"Hey. Hi, I'm your mama! Yeah!"

"Jude." I said.

"What?" She asked.

"We should name him Jude."

She smiled and looked down at him, "Welcome to the world Jude."

My heart was full.

"Oh no." Sophia gasped all of a sudden, looking panicked.

"What?"

"Something's wrong!" She winced.

I quickly took Jude from her arms and placed him on the bed where he was safe and went back to her side.

"I should call a doctor!" I said.

She screamed in pain as I ran for the phone. I explained to the dispatcher that my wife had just delivered a healthy boy and was now in extreme pain. Before I knew it I was told to check her to see if there was another baby.

"Another baby?!" I questioned.

"What?!" Sophia asked as she breathed through the pain.

I did what I was told and Sophia started to scream and said she felt more pressure. I looked at Sophia with a horrified look.

What was happening?!

...

Sophia's POV

"Twins." I whispered.

Avery and I were both laying on the bed propped up on pillows behind our backs.

"Twins." He repeated.

I smiled at the baby girl in his arms.

"We need a name for her. I think you should pick it." He told me.

I thought for a minute as I looked at her precious face.

"Gabriella." I said.

He looked down at her.

"Jude and Gabriella." I said.

We were the parents of twins and a teenager. This should be interesting.

Welcome to this crazy life Jude and Gabriella! =D

"It's 3 AM."

Nothing.

"Avery?"

Snore

"Avery!"

He jumped awake and looked around the nursery.

"You're feeding Gabby."

"Right, sorry."

"It's like they're little sleep killing monsters." I yawned.

"It won't be long now, they'll grow up and maybe find out themselves that sleep is amazing."

"The maid and the gardener are starting tomorrow."

"That's good."

We finished feeding the twins and shuffled back downstairs to our room. We were halfway in the doorway when Ellie came rushing down the stairs.

"I'm glad you guys are up! I have this thing for school and I need serious help!"

Avery and I looked at each other with our dead tired eyes.

"You wanted kids." Avery mumbled.

I grumbled as we forced our feet to walk back upstairs and into Ellie's room.

...

"They let us sleep for four hours straight last night." I said.

"It's a miracle."

"Shhh Gabby don't cry." I cooed at her.

"You're happy, right?" I asked.

"You keep asking me that..."

"I'm sorry, it's just we wanted one more baby and got two..."

"Honey, our family is perfect now. Two girls and a little boy. I couldn't be happier, I promise you that."

He leaned over and placed a kiss on my forehead.

"Daddy love you sweet baby girl." He whispered bending down and kissing her forehead.

I smiled.

A Couple Weeks Later

We finally had the swing of things, the babies were finally sleeping through the night and so were we. Ellie was getting amazing grades in school and was helping out a lot with the twins in her free time.

"Jude is crying."

"I got him!"

"She's such an amazing person." I said to Avery as we made lunch.

"I know, how did we get so lucky?"

I smiled and we gave each other a quick kiss.

Ellie came running down the stairs and headed towards the basement.

"Hey! Lunch is in five minutes! Don't go too far." I told her.

"Okay!"

I looked up at the ceiling as Jude started crying again.

"He is just not happy today." Avery said.

"I got him, he may still have a small temperature."

I walked into the nursery and scooped him up.

"What's wrong baby? Huh? Shhh, it's okay."

I checked his temperature.

"Hey! Look at that, completely normal." I smiled.

He cooed.

"Yeah, you are normal and loved. So are you Gabriella." I said looking over at her.

She smiled and kicked her legs.

"My perfect little family."

Small update, the twins are already almost kids. I wish Sims 4 had the option to change the life span of each stage like Sims 3 had!

"I think I want to write a book." Ellie told me.

We were sitting at the kitchen table eating breakfast.

"Yeah?!"

"Yeah, I mean I know I'm still in high school and the chances of it getting published are slim, but I still want to try."

"Never be afraid of going after your dreams Ellie."

"I won't."

Honk! Honk!

"There's the bus!"

"Don't forget, the twins' birthday is tonight!" I called after her.

She waved at me and rushed out the door. I stood up and cleaned up the kitchen.

"The maid can do that." Avery said walking in.

"I know, I just don't want her to think I'm one of those snobs that can't do things for herself."

"Okay."

Avery and I celebrated our birthdays into adulthood last week. It was just a small get together with cake and steak dinners. Ellie watched the twins for us so we could go out on a nice walk alone. It was a nice night.

"You're an amazing father." I told him.

"Thank you."

I smiled.

...

Anthony Smith of Sunset Valley passed away Tuesday night of natural causes.
He leaves behind a loving wife and child who will miss him dearly. Funeral arrangements
have been made for Monday night at 7:00 P.M. and a wake held at Sunset Church on
Maple St. on Sunday evening at 4:00 P.M.

I threw the paper on the table ignoring that Avery had been reading it over my shoulder.

"Are you okay?"

"Sure, why wouldn't I be?" I asked being snippy.

"He was your fath-"

"Do not call him that. He was no where near being a father to me. You read it! Wife and child. That's fine. I don't want to be recognized! It's fine. Glad he found some fountain of youth and got to live much longer then mom did even though he treated her like crap!"

"Honey..."

"Why didn't he want me?" I asked, my voice cracking.

Avery rushed over to me and pulled me into a tight hug.

"Was I not special enough?"

"You are special. He was just too blind to see that! It's his loss. He never got to see the amazing woman you grew up to be! He gave up his chance to meet our wonderful children. We are better off without him honey. I know it hurts, I understand that, but it was his loss."

I cried into his shoulder as he rocked me side to side slowly.

...

"Happy birthday dear Gabriella and Jude! Happy birthday to you!" We sang.

Before we knew it, our baby twins grew up to be children.

"Can we have cake?!" Jude asked.

"After dinner, now go sit down and we'll bring it to you." Avery smiled.

"Two kids in grade school and a teenager in high school."

"Things are crazy, I'm just thankful that we don't have money worries."

"Me too."

We all sat down at the table for dinner.

"Ellie told me that she wants to write a children's book this morning honey." I told Avery.

"Really?!"

Ellie nodded, "Yeah, it's called I Love You More."

"What's it about?"

"I want to write it for all the siblings about to experience the joy of getting siblings." She smiled.

"That's great! I may know someone who could get into contact with a publisher!" Avery said.

"That would be cool!"

We finished dinner and all the clean up. I decided to head downstairs and into the gym, I still needed to get a little bit of the baby weight off. It also relieved stress for me.

...

I heard laughter from the play room and poked my head in, "Everything okay?"

"Yeah!" Gabby laughed.

I smiled as I watched the puppet show that Jude was putting on for his sisters.

"That was a good one!" Gabby said.

"Yeah it was lil' sis!" Ellie smiled.

Ellie stood up and ruffled Gabriella's hair and walked out of the room. Jude came out of the puppet show and grabbed Gabby's hand and they went to play with another toy.

"Thirty more minutes and then it's homework time." I told them.

"Yes mama."

...

"MAMA!" Jude screamed.

I dropped what I was doing and ran outside.

"MAMA!"

"Jude?!"

I searched the backyard until I found him, I ran over to him putting my hands on his arms and bending down to his level.

"What's wrong?!"

"He took her!"

"Who took who baby?"

"That man! He took Gabby!" Jude cried.

My heart stopped.

"Go get daddy, tell him to call the cops."

Jude ran into the house as I ran into the street and looked up and down it.

"GABBY!" I called.

Gabby.

Where is Gabby?
