I think I have a problem. Went into my ID today and Grim has been placed into a house in Willow Creek.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

I'm a little afraid to play my ID I have to say. So do I have the teams permission to enter Manage Households and evict Grim? Weirdly this happened in my last dynasty too but not till gen 7 so I just persevered but in that instance Grim became bugged and could not longer reap, everybody was just in a never-ending cycle of grieving over the dead body while Grim just stood there.

I do have back ups but I haven't looked at those yet so I'm not sure just how much game time I'd lose as gen 2 just aged into a teen a few days ago in-game. Just checked all the back-up files also have grim in a house.

I'm stuck, I don't think evicting Grim will work as he will then just become a sim 'Not in the World'. Help anyone?

*edited: Ok I followed a suggestion from @Shewolf13  (*ty so much) and in the world view deleted the household with Grim in it then saved my game and then restarted it. I then test killed a sim from over exertion and the game spawned in a new Grim and the reaping went as normal.

So: Do I have the teams permission to do this to my actual ID save? I need to delete the household (Grim) from the world map view without having played my ID Household, save and then quit. Then restart my game as normal, going straight into play my ID household.

The reason I can not do this through Manage Households is that the Grim Household does not appear there, the game just simply doesn't recognize it!

Can I get ride of a cloned sim? One of my heirs is in the scientist career, and one of my work tasks was to clone myself...I didn't realize my clone would be added to my household, I've never cloned a sim before...now I have no idea what to do about my household size  :-[

Hi everybody!

My question: what in the world do you do with your elder Sims all day?  I thought playing an Immortal Dynasty would create interest for myself for TS4 but I'm not even past the YA stage of my founder and I'm sitting here staring at a paused game wondering how I keep my Sims busy. I can't imagine having to do this for 7.5 more generations!

I might have to try the TenGen Dynasty to see if the whole can only control your current heir thing makes the game actually interesting.

Maybe I should just reinstall TS3 and call it a day with TS4.
You've played too much TS3 when ... your 13 month old's babble sounds like Simlish!

@Lilygirl I just put them all in the scientist career and don't bother joining them most days. The Rival Dynasty could also be a good one to try as you shouldn't get to a point where you are spinning your wheels like that.

I've got a question:

"Gender changes: You're allowed to do any gender and/or gender customization change once during the teen or young adult stage."

Is that once per sim/heir/generation or once per dynasty?

99.99% positive it's per sim. Per dynasty would be ridiculous.

Yeah, that's what I'm hoping/assuming, but on the list of dumb reasons to possibly fail a dynasty somewhere along the line, being incorrect about the interval of "once" seems like an especially bad one. So might as well be safe rather than sorry.

I know it’s a tad early to ask, but do you think there will things from seasons that are not allowed in a dynasty, or specific season settings that we will need to use?  I want to start a new one, but don’t want to mess up as soon as I start. 😋

@simfulicious: it's still being worked out and I would hold off on starting until we have more things discussed.

While we're waiting for the rule updates, I've got a question I'd just want to be clear on: Does the Grilled Cheese aspiration count as an aspiration? Since it's a little different from the others, I thought better safe than sorry.
