Upcoming Child Stuff Pack and Restaurant Game Pack

News has been quiet lately, but EA did announce there would be a Child Stuff Pack and Restaurant Game Pack coming this spring/early summer.

Hey Everyone!

I am really excited to share with you a new type of video today! This seasonal preview is something we will be presenting every few months to show you a look at the content to come in the next season for The Sims 4. (In this case a “season” means around 2-3 months)

This will NOT replace our usual announcement videos and blogs but will give you a preview of the type of content and themes you can expect to see coming up.

We’re really excited to share this with you, we’ve not done anything quite like this before, and look forward to giving you even more information and deeper dives on the content as we get closer to their announcement & release dates.

I'm really pleased that these little info drops will be on-going. It's awesome to know what is heading our way in advance. So much better to have a little sneak peak rather than having to wait until the week it is released. Yay for communication!!

I've been really hoping for restaurants, and I'm excited that it's a game pack. I think the two game packs that have come out so far are my favorite things they've released. I use them all the time.

just throwing a option out there but maybe we are getting restaurants cause "SimGuruDrake is looking for your Save Game files that include Retail content in order to improve the retail system feature"

I seriously can't wait for restaurants. I hope we'll be able to customize and run them... not just send our sims there. More like the retail shops in Get to Work than the spas in Spa Day if that make sense.

I love gardening and fishing, so I'm hoping that the Restaurant/Marketplace features will boost the fun/obsession factor for those two activities.

I had another look at the video and noticed the tragic clown. Also, the monster under the bed is back and the 'toybox' looks quite large so could it be a costume chest?

The Tragic Clown will be appearing for free after an update.  As for the other, I'm looking forward to the monster under the bed
