I'm enjoying that you're taking the time to highlight the activities of Artie and his housemates.
I'm in suspense about what Artie's going to do about an heir.

I’ve just finished catching up with your story @Ricalynn  – I love the imagination you put in to it, and the house.  I have to admit to finding Artie a struggle at first, his skin-tone burned my eyes, but he's really growing on me now as he's such a character. 

And I can't believe you have a full house already, with no heir yet?  I would be SO stressed, but I guess with a male founder you have bags of time! At least you know you can cope with a house of 8, whereas I'm gradually working up to it!   Glad to see you're heading for a cloning machine ; you'll love it!  Get a focussed sim with green needs to do the cloning and it works most of the time.

Friends with the house but not the people, perfect Reid's is looking good, I see more of Juli in him, or I've mostly forgotten what Jaxon looks like. Loved the GoT reference.

@Trip He was hiding under the beard and the big glasses (most of the time) but I see Juli's nose and smile in him.   And yes it's fun to let Artie do his own thing every now and then and his choice is to either talk to himself or certain surfaces.  Though a lot of that stopped when I filled up the Dynasty House club with things like sleep, garden, clean.  The house is always clean and way too many people think it's fun to be in the garden.  I also don't allow them to be mean to each other, scare each other anymore.  They're not any closer to being friends but I'm not finding random squabbles when someone should be doing something else!   I may be a little too controlling.

@Shewolf13 He turned out so much different than I thought he would!  Honestly, I couldn't remember why I let him be born except that both of his parents had come in with family aspirations but I think I know what I'm doing with him now!

@oshizu Thank you!  It's easy when it's all different kinds of people right now but later on it might get odd because same characters everywhere.  We shall see.  (I have to make it that far!)

@tjtemple Sorry for your retinas.  When I was told by Metro I couldn't use a real Grim back in the TS3 ID, I had to come up with something and decided the red skin tone was perfect.  Playing Artie as something other than red now just seems wrong. 

As for the full house, I still have a lot of options in front of me.  Mortimer and Juli are getting up in age (both are like 106 right now) which opens 2 spots eventually.  My primary focus was making sure that I had the means to make ambrosia and to get a lot of Artie's requirements done.  The ID I did offline back when I was trying to be the second to finish, I had a lot of struggles and I didn't want to do that again.  Maintaining house size has always been easy because I feel weird in a house with only a few sims in them.  ( I blame all the dynasties I've done so far)  Thank you for reading and I'm glad that you're enjoying it.

@Nettlejuice I think a lot of people never really got to see Jaxon.  He did a LOT of fishing and not hanging around.   Also, Johnny Snow is not a GoT reference.  The Jane Snow a chapter or two away was but Jonny Snow is actually a Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog reference.  And if this is not something you've ever seen.  You need to.  It's a Joss Whedon "doing this for fun" little movie type thing with Neil Patrick Harris, Nathan Fillion,and Felicia Day.  And yes.. it's a musical but that's okay because it's genius.  If you already knew all that.. whoops  Forgive me.  There will be more references to it probably because I've recently watched it again... thrice.

Morty - This isn't easy for me to say but I want you to know that above all else I just want you happy.  I know that you're an adult now and you might want a family of your own.  If the house will allow it, I want you to have that, too.  I just.. my gut says that Artie or that Don guy might be bad for you and I'm protective of you, pumpkin. 
Cassie - Dad.  I just wanted to ask how your day was.
Morty - Oh uhh.  It was great.  How's the new job?
Cassie - It was great!  I love playing with all the gadgets.
Morty - That's good honey.


Bella - Hey that's kind of great.
Addy - Long day at work?
Bella - No.. my baby is about to be a young adult and I read somewhere that these Granny Smashes are good.  That Rose lady was right.  They're pretty good.
Addy - Well you enjoy that but don't get so much nectar in you that you can't make the food we need for the party.
Bella - I'll be fine..
Addy - Uh huh.


Addy - So we've moved from riding naked to upgrading naked huh?
Juli - It's such a nice day out.
Addy - You're scaring the kids.
Juli - What kids?
Addy - You know what I mean.


Artie - *enchanting introduction*
Elizabeth Ferry - Oh!  Oooh.. *insta-flirty*


Artie - *brush off* No.. go away.  I didn't realize that would happen.

Cassie - *is on her way to the other treadmill*

I don't like musicals but if it's Joss Whedon I'm game, off to check it out. Oh, man, I thought Artie was going to romance the yellow lady. OK I just had an image of Juli without the pixelation and I can't stop giggling, need a Granny Smash too.

Addy - Look it's a space cadet and two weiners.

Artie - What's really weird is that not only is Morty mentoring Reid in writing but they switched heads.
Addy - Haha.  I hadn't even realized that.


Juli - Aww man.  I thought I'd be the only pizza-woman.
Addy - Could be worse.. You could be the third weiner.
Alex - At least I put on the right head.
Artie - Good one birthday boy.  Though.. I'm kind of liking that reaper costume, cutie.
Candy Behr - Thanks.  I think Lucas Munch is coming as this too.
Artie - Am I the only one who was original?
Addy - Is that surprising?


Don - Oh man.. I went thru three costumes and I still ended up being the same as two old biddies.
Lucas - It's just me and Candy.. and she's hot. 
Don - Shush kid or I'll tell the red guy you've been talking trash.

Alex - I wish for smaller ears.

Alex - Free of homework..
Addy - Sort of.  It's time to get a job and be responsible.
Alex - Yes but the schedule will be better and I will get to play video games for fun.

Jaxon - Oooh cake.

Addy - A house full of people and you'd rather talk to the pear bush.
Cassie - She's a better listener. 
Addy - Lucas isn't so bad when Artie isn't yelling at him.
Cassie - Yeah.. I'd rather not open that can of worms tonight.  Everyone is getting along.

No one has said anything about the pictures.. I hope that means I've figured it out!

Addy - Ahh there you are.. Wait, what are you doing?
Artie - I got a gold medal for the party so I was going to go to Sixam now that Juli upgraded the rocket.
Addy - Alright.  Have fun.
Artie - Goodbye lame people.. I'm off to a place that understands me.
Addy - You're taking the astronaut thing too far.  Not like it's Lunar Lakes out there.


Artie - Ooh.  This looks like something that would make Juli and Cass happy.
Addy - Alien produce is the key to every female's heart.
Artie - You.. concern me sometimes.
Addy - Tried it back in Lunar Lakes huh?
Artie - Yep.. zero success rate.


Artie - So hey nice.. WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR HAIR?
Addy - I was going to mention that your eyes should be up but I see they are stuck that way now.
Gina - My kind doesn't normally have hair.
Artie - That's.. that's.. okay I can roll with that.  Nice planet.  You need more fun objects though.
Gina - I could think of something fun.


Artie - Is she gone?  Get me out of here! 
Addy - What's wrong?
Artie - She wanted to probe me.
Addy - haha... hahah.   Hahaha.  Hahaha..


*about 12 hours later*
Addy - You're looking pleased with yourself.
Artie - I just completed my second aspiration.  I only need two more levels to be the Boss, some friends and two more parties and I'm good to eat the nasty fish stuff.
Addy - I heard it might be better this time.  No death fish you know.
Artie - It uses that death flower stuff so probably still tastes bad.
Addy - Maybe.  We shall see.


Artie - *reveals dark secret*
Alex - Oh I did NOT want to hear that.
Artie - Well I had to tell someone..
Alex - Why me?!
Artie - I already told Reid a different secret and you two are the only people in the house that are friends with me.
Alex - Ugh.
Artie - Okay.  I'm going to learn how to use the camera we've had for weeks now. 


Artie - Hey Morty.. let's take a picture.
Morty - Okay.
Artie - *Talking through smile*  You couldn't change.
Morty - *talking through smile* You didn't give me time.


Artie - Okay pose for me.
Morty - I am.
Artie - And that's what you want to go with.
Morty - Okay how about this..


Artie - I can work with this.
Morty - One more?
Artie - Nah I think I'm gonna take random pictures of the house now.


Cass - How about this?
Artie - Nice.. *tone of realization* Really nice.


Cass - Now how about one like this?
Artie - Alright I think I can handle that.  How about another one?


Artie - Nice.. Nice.  I like the lighting.  Another.


Artie - Okay I think we're done now.
Cass - Haha why?
Artie - You look like you're either constipated or pretending to be an alien.
Cass - Ew Artie.  I was trying for the second one.
Artie - Yep and now I need to photo something else..
Cass - One more.  How about if I do this?


Artie - Fine one more.. You know I've never.. Oh look a chair.


Addy - Yep.. it's a chair and another chair. And oooh a light.  You done pretending you're an artist yet?
Artie - I am an artist.  Last time I was a sculptor for ages.
Addy - I remember some of that. 
Artie - Okay.. time to take more photos..


Addy - I find this creepy.
Artie - It's a natural photo because she doesn't know I'm here.
Bella - I can hear you. 
Addy - Yea, nice try.


Artie - Look it's art within art.
Addy - You're being weird.  I'm about to give you a task.
Artie - It will be good to have pictures of him for when he dies.
Morty - You can be rude somewhere else..
Addy - Really.


Artie - I call it Hungry on a Misty Morn.
Addy - I call it Feed Audrey II or you'll lose her too.
Artie - I forgot how cranky you get early in the morning. 
Addy - Well if people didn't keep me up all night.
Artie - It's what you get for having like 6 kids.
Addy - Yet it was you that kept me up!


Addy - After hours of this, I would think you would have better timing.
Artie - I like it.
Juli - Hey Artie.. what are you doing with the camera.


Artie - *snickers*
Addy - Did you really need that picture?
Artie - Yes.  I need to remember this for eight generations.
Addy - Expecting to get dementia this time?
Artie - It's for posterior.
Addy - You mean posterity.


Juli - Bye Artie!
Addy - Let's go creeper.


Artie - Whatcha doing?
Alex - Making a wall hanging. Still taking photos?
Artie - Yep.  Think you could do something interesting..
Alex -  If it will get the camera out of my face..


Artie - Is that all you have?
Alex - Are you done yet?  I need to finish this before I reach the 2 hours before work mark.  I have to get my yoga in.
Artie - Oy.


Addy - It's a nice view but still not enough and you're starving.
Artie - Okay fine I'll go put it down.

Hmmm...what was my favorite moment? Maybe Cassie posing for Artie but Artie telling her she looked constipated or like an alien wannabe.

Why did Jaxon arrive mad the second time?
He was a lovable weirdo in life--you showed him dancing to no music, often off doing his own thing. Only thing is, I don't like the Maxis beard look. :-(
But Jaxon was cool.
