Recipe for "Mom's Make It All Better Tea":  (for chest)  Bring one and a half cups of water to a boil.  Add 2 teaspoons of anise seed, bruising lightly.  Cover the pot and let steep a bit.  Bruise some more.  Add juice of 1/2 of a real lemon, (not the bottled juice), plus the squeezed out peel.  Let steep a bit but needs to stay hot.  Add honey to taste and if you like, something alcoholic helps.  It will break up the congestion, (anise and honey do that), and make you sleep.

Plus,  make some bone broth and/or chicken soup with lots of onion and garlic in it.

Both are tasty and comforting and while not an instant cure, they do help and definitely at least make you feel a bit better.  Recipe comes with love and hugs from moi.

Thanks everyone. I am feeling a bit miserable but @Joria that tea recipe is amazing! Thank you so much for posting it. I think I may become addicted to it, even without alcohol!! It really does make a difference. I've been spoiled by a friend who brought round chicken soup, double onion and double garlic! Luckily enough I still can't smell anything so can't tell if I stink of garlic or not! lol  Sometimes it feels like the so-called 'old fashioned' approaches work best and I'm totally into anything that works right now!  This forum rocks, you're all so sweet.

Oh's noes, not teh elderhood!  Heh.  So close play, just stick to it!  And if you even get sick of playing with elders you can always go play teen-dude for a while...  Though you better wrap this one up soon, or you might have to delay starting the new dynasty that's coming!
