@Joria, lol ah well, had to make it all work out in the end, can't help myself! As for parties that go well....yeah. Yesterday every time I tried to do an incognito party my PC crashed to the desktop... Then when I finally got one up and rolling hardly any of the guests came. So I cancelled it, dialled it up again, same result...hardly any guests. Ugh. Don't know what was going on with that! I'm pretty sure Bryon is one of Blaize's descendants, can't be 100% sure but I think that's right.
@ratchie , hmm I was hoping that gen 8 would be fun. I've left quite a full-on aspiration for the 8th heir hoping it would keep me busy. I think it's just that gap before an heir ages up, when you can't actually do anymore skilling until they are older.... it drags and takes forever to play. Well, not really...just feels that way! 
@KRae , thanks. And, yeah, I guess Cristina did end up ruining Abi's day true to form! lol
@Alarianna , thanks. Yeah, I'm sure Abi will remember her mum fondly despite the rocky beginning.
@EtnaFan666 , it's actually a game mechanic... teens hang out at the parks at night. It's pretty handy when you're playing a teen as you know you can just head out to the park and night and makes heaps of other teen friends. If you need to make adult friends then the park during the day or a bar/lounge at night is the go.
@Shewolf13 , yeah...I'm pretty much on your page re that last screenshot! 
@sdhoey , glad your still liking it! First time I've had a sim auto drink that much. Pretty funny! I love the 'drink in each hand' thing. Makes the sim dazed and cross eyed lol.

Thank you for reading, encouraging and generally sticking with me and my story everyone. I played a lot yesterday so I could get this dynasty a little further ahead so I've got four chapters to post... here we go!

Chapter 153: A Party

Hey! How's it going Dude?
Dude: Good thanks watcher.
You know we've got Abi's party starting soon?
Dude: No!
Oh! Hey dude?
Dude: Yeah?
We've got Abi's party starting soon.
Dude: *sigh* Thanks for letting me know watcher.
No problem.




Abi's needs you downstairs.
Julien: Party time?
Yeah.




I said 'make drinks' not 'burn the place down'.
Dude: Woah! *Shudder* My ears are ringing.




Esque: Hmm, gotta love your cooking Julien.
Julien: (Off screen) Thanks man.




What happened to your dog hat?
Zaiden: Got way too hot watcher.
Fair enough.





Esque: Can't believe our little Abi's birthday's just around the corner!
Julien: Tell me about it. I don't think I'm ready to let her go.
Esque: Well, you better get ready. You wouldn't want to stand in the way of her getting on with her own life. Besides, she's a great kid , knows what she wants, sensible. She hasn't caused you a moment's grief in her whole life.
Julien: True. I've been pretty lucky eh.
Esque: Probably but you've been a darn good dad too mate.

Justine: Well watcher, gotta burn those cake calories somehow.
Zaiden: The watcher might sim nap you if you say stuff like that.

Well, I'm glad that party is over. That was hard work.

Hmm. Well might as well get Dude to mentor you seeing as you're stuck.




Justine: I think I might need to 'go' soon.
Umm...well. I guess I could move the table and get you un-stuck that way. Although it's more interesting to see just how long you stay stuck.
Justine: That's wicked.

Julien: Are you sure this is a good idea watcher? Mind you this cake looks DELICIOUS!

Loved that screenshot of Julien smiling. He's so adorable. Love the cowplant although I still worry it'll eat my sims

You are safe to feed a sim once to a cow plant and the essences are super handy for getting into the right emotion for a whole work shift.  I use them for all my sims just before they go to work. Takes them seconds to chug one down in one sip and the glass just disappears. Then off they go, in the right emotion for work for the next twelve hours. I just clone lots of them for each sim. Actually, you can feed the same sim over and over again to the cow plant... as long as you get rid of the drained moodlet. That's why I always have a moodlet solver handy, get's rid of the 'drained' moodlet and the low needs from being eaten. Obviously you have to wait for the cow plant to out out the cake but it happens before the drained moodlet naturally wears off so you do have to watch the eaten sim if you're not removing the moodlet for them.

Chapter 154: Abi's Young Adult Birthday


Abi: I don't really understand why the watcher is making me do my homework when I'm just about to have my birthday.
Julien: It's about her covering all her bases really. It would be terrible to lose your 'A' just because you didn't do something that is really easy to do. Besides, it gives me a chance to help you for the last time.
Abi: Oh dad! You're so sentimental.




Abi: O.K. here goes.








Happy Birthday Abi. I do wish you sims would stand still during a birthday. Ugh.




Mac: Happy birthday darling.




Julien: Happy birthday princess.
Abi: Thanks dad. No tears?
Julien: lol, I'm ok-ish! Enjoy your day out love.
Abi: Will do.




Justin: So, umm, happy birthday Abi.
Abi: Thanks.
<slightly awkward silence>




Abi: Look I'm just going to come right out and say it. I like you Justin. A lot.
Justin: I know you do Abi and thank you for saying that.

Hmmm, so it seems that unless I direct you to stop meditating you just stay there forever. Very handy. Very handy indeed.




Oh cool. I was wondering when you would get round to cloning those essences for Abi. What? What's with the 'look'?
Dude: It wasn't that comfortable being stuck like that... I didn't really appreciate you pausing us so we stayed stuck.
*Snicker* You gotta see it from my perspective... it was pretty 'out there'.

Abi: Sorry I'm a bit late. The watcher was talking away non-stop and I couldn't get out of the door.
Justin: No problem. I was running just a tiny bit late myself actually.




Justin: You're beautiful Abi Hollingsworth.




Justin: Come here you.







Abi: Have you eaten tonight? Should we go get some dinner? Or... maybe something else?
Justin: Definitely something else.








Justin: There's something I want to ask you Abi...




Justin: Will you put me out of my misery and agree to be my wife? Please?




Abi: *Squee* Oh my gosh! Justin!




Abi: *tearful* Oh Justin. It's beautiful...I can't believe it!

OMG!  ROFLMBO!  Hubby wanted to know what was so hysterically funny.  I have zero sense of humor so to hear me roaring with laughter had him actually concerned.
That picture!!!!  And the comments!!!  "I didn't really appreciate you pausing us so we'd stay stuck", to go along with "the look"...Riot!

EDIT:  And then you follow up with the most romantic proposal EVAH.  Plus, family approves.  I can hardly wait for the wedding....*excited*

Abi: Gosh! I can hardly believe it. It's like a dream come true.
Justin: For me too Abi, for me too.




Justin: Are you ready?
Abi: I am.
Justin: <Whispering> Love you babe. You look amazing, beautiful. I can see the stars reflected in your eyes.




Abi: I've been your best friend before falling in love with you so I know our love will last the distance.
Justin: I was your best friend before falling desperately in love with you so I know that my heart is yours forever.




Justin: I give you this ring as a symbol of my never ending love. I love you Abi.
Abi: I love you Justin.




Congratulations Mr and Mrs Justin Hollingsworth.




Zahra: Oh I love weddings. *Happy sigh*




Abi: You ready to cut the cake husband?
Justin: You bet.

Esque: That was a great ceremony.

Dude: It's been a while since we've seen a wedding. Just lovely.




Justin: Are you ready to slip away my love?


As the newly married couple slipped away the rest of the family and friends chatted and enjoyed each other's company in the early morning sunshine.





Justin: I'm so happy. Love you.
Abi: Love you too.





Abi: I won't be a sec, just want to check...




Justin: What love? I couldn't hear you properly...




Abi: Oh my GOSH Justin! You'll never guess what? ? ?




Abi: We're pregnant!!!!




Justin: Oh my gosh. NO! I hate kids. *sobs*

Oh no!  "I hate kids".  That must break Abi's heart!  Such a beautiful wedding and then to hear that.  Poor girl.

I've updated the stats page too so now I'm all up to date with game play and record keeping!

*edited: Actually it did have quite a negative impact on their relationship. They were soul mates, best friends etc and now they are "Just friends" and no matter what I did I just could not get them back to soul mates. Both their green and romance bars are full... but 'Just Friends' remains. Quite sad actually. Maybe after some time has passed their relationship will eventually get back to Soul Mate status. I hope so as all my married couples have been soul mates so far.

That cliffhanger is evil! They had such a beautiful whirlwind romance and that last line felt like a bucket of ice water fell on me. Although I laughed at the screenshot of his face. It was a beautiful wedding though.

On to happier things: I loved "the look" Dude gave you. And thanks for the explanation with the cowplant. I never realised it's so handy

@Cristina , I was quite surprised at Justin's reaction. In my first dynasty attempt one of the spouses hated children and I didn't get such a bad reaction then... I guess Justin really hates children then!    You're welcome re: cow plant. It's super handy for sure.

I have missed so much! =( Anyway, RIP Cristine, she was a great Mum in the end. Justin is a hottie, congratulations on the wedding, but he hates kids? Oh no, I'm sure he'll love his nooboo in time.
