Loved her misfortune at the surgeries. I think Zahra should back off from the surgeries for a bit. Maybe read a book or two about them. Practice using a stuffed doll.

Thanks everyone! The surgeries were pretty funny! because I needed 3 for Zahra to get promoted she may have inadvertently misdiagnosed a couple of sims.... but hey! Every surgeon needs practise, right?  Because she has the Professional Slacker award now she can only get demoted to the start of the orange bar and by completing all the daily tasks while at work and with the kick in from the Entrepreneurial trait and the negotiate a bonus interaction she was back on track pretty quickly. So, I think I've got her career sussed, she should max it in time for her adult birthday. Unless something goes horribly wrong...which, being a dynasty, is very likely. lol
I think the best way forward with the doctor career is to only diagnose sims if it one of the daily requirements/tasks. You can fill up the green metre just as quickly by running tests etc etc. So it's not actually necessary to diagnose a sim to get a promotion. In fact, I think it's better not to as Zahra can still only slim down the possible illnesses to 3 and this is her at L7 of the career. It's still too easy to misdiagnose and then have to scramble madly to make up the lost progress. Although it's a balance between wanting the performance boost that a correctly diagnosed sim gives you!
I still alternate between joining her and sending her alone as once the tasks needed for the next promotion are done she is often better 'working hard' alone and snagging the next promotion that way. I use 'renew wedding vows' with Julius so that the tense moodlet is outweighed by the happy one so she can actually work hard for the entire shift.
I guess once she has maxed the career I'll be able to have a bit more fun in this career but for now my aim is just to get it maxed as quickly as possible.

Dude: It's so good to see you.

Blaize: It's so good to be here dad. I'm fine...it's a little strange, but I'm ok.





Dude: I miss you so much son but seeing you again, knowing you're ok...it's priceless.

Jasmine: Blaize! Oh so good to see you!
Blaize: You too sis, you too.





Jasmine: So, can you stay? Are you able to stay?
Blaize: Truthfully? I just don't know. Sometimes we're called to the Greater Beyond and we can't come back and visit from there.
Jasmine: But you're ok.
Blaize: I'm totally fine...if not a little see-through.





Blaize: It's actually nothing to be scared off. It doesn't hurt...it's just sad leaving you all behind. But boy, didn't we have a great life altogether? Eh?
Dude: We sure did!





Mac: It's just like old times watcher.
It sure is. It's so good to see Blaize again. It's made me feel so much better.
Mac: Me too.
Blaize: So how's your painting going Zahra?
Zahra: Good thanks, got a few tucked away for my museum pieces, hopefully I'll get a few done each night so I have lot's to choose from.

Thanks so much everyone. I really enjoy it when I take all the Hollingsworths out fishing. It's such a nice break from all the skilling etc. Zahra actually completed the angling ace aspiration with the wolf eel. The actual aspiration had completed some time ago but it was incorrect as at that point Zahra had only caught 14 fish. I was keeping one of every fish she caught mounted on the wall just so I knew when she had actually caught all 20 fish. What I had forgotten that the angelfish was in a bowl...way too important to mount!
So here's her completed aspiration.




I seem to have something a bit weird going on with the aspirations at the moment as the renaissance sim aspiration completed on Dude even though he has only ever had one career... All a bit annoying and frustrating so I'm going to have to be really careful about not clicking on any other aspirations with my heirs or it will be a fail again. Basically I have planned out each generation and so the 'spare aspirations' have already been completed by Dude and Mac. If any other aspirations glitch out and complete then it will be game over. Bummer. Still, it hasn't got to that point yet so I'm still in with a chance!~

I looked up cheats yesterday as a way of undoing the completion of Renaissance Sim.  (This same thing foiled my last, uh seventh, dynasty attempt but unlike your sim, my sim had actually completed the aspiration and I accidentally clicked it.)
While there's a simple cheat to remove the Professorial trait, removing reward points can only be done 100 points at a time, so you'd have to do it 50x.
