Amen Shannon! It's extremely rude to call someone out on their own thread! It's one thing to say "oops, you called him X when his name is Y" especially in a story with multiple generations, where even the author sometimes makes a little duff up... But, to correct someone's grammar should be private and confidential!

I think you're doing a wonderful job! Way better than most of us could possibly do. And I, for one, have just glossed over the odd grammar fault as you being a normal human being who makes normal errors and sometimes types faster than spellcheck can keep up with! We all do it, including the person who called you out for it, I have noticed that from posts they have made in other threads.

Keep up the good work and I hope we will be seeing more of the Brooks' soon <3

Let's not de-rail this thread any further.  Good story so far.   And it just goes to show what all those proofreaders and editors get paid for.  When you have to do it yourself, your brain does funny things to you - like filing in words in your head that you didn't type.  I've done that one.   Let's try to be forgiving of certain errors - especially as you're getting these stories for free.

I love this Family and all the household members and you tell their tales in such a captivating way that makes me want to have more.

WATCHERS NOTES

Good morning everyone. I'm going to be posting some updates today. Hopefully I'll get to play some. My graphics card is acting up so we are in the process of looking. Time to upgrade the old one, the time we are gonna go with two and do the crossfire thing so when one starts to get over loaded, the other one will kick in and take some of the burden off the first one. Cool huh, then my next step is work on getting my rig step up with a water cooling system.  So off to put some laundry in and then to start some updates.

Brody: No time like the present ole man.

Destiny: You got that right little buddy. *snickers* "old"



Kale: So the evil little sister was transformed into a little bitty snail by her Big "ole" brother, *chuckles*

Brody: *excited* I can't wait for your party tonight dad. It sounds like such fun. I got my outfit all planned out.

Colt: *pounding house* Whose older?

Kale: *strokes cheek* Well, He is some kind of crazy for just leaving something as fine as you just standing out here all alone.

Kinley: *weak knee'd* sighs ..

Rory: Geesh kids, Get a room!!



Kale: Babe, you look so good, how did I get so lucky?

Rory: You know he got it all from me right?



Kale: Loser has to give the winner a back massage.

Kinley: Sounds fair to me.

Cool, looks like the 3 sims playing games is complete.



Brody: Grandpa? Do I get to have a lot of parties also?

Rory: Just dig in there and get it done. That is all you can do.



Everyone eating some roasted chicken. DONE!!



Rory: So is everyone having fun?

Blue Shirt: You guys have the best parties, The food is always the greatest.



Rory: Looks like everyone is enjoying moms cake.



Just want I like a empty cake plate and another Gold Metal Party. Time to go home.
 


Kale: Time for bed squirt.

Brody: Oh man.



Destiny: Sorry you missed the party granddad.

Colt: No worries, I needed to work. The new kid screwed up again.



Brody: *mocking* Grandpa made a doody

Rory: Boy you better get your rear to bed.



Brody: I'm sorry grandpa, I was jokin..

Rory: I know you were son, but you need know when and where it is the right time. Now get yourself off to bed.



Destiny: He's just a kid dad, he's having fun.

Rory: I know, I just want him to be able to take this serious.



Rory: Honey, everyone thought I was a joke growing up. I was the joker. Always playing cranks, joking around etc I just want Brody to know that the Dynasty is not a play thing.



Destiny: Dad, let him be a kid. Let him have fun and grow up. Then we will see how he will take it.



Rory: Since when did my little princess grow up and become so smart? She is just like her mother. Tania would be proud of her.

*happy sigh*  Updates!  Marvelous, marvelous updates!!  "Grandad" is right.  That kid needs to learn a few things.  It's ok to have fun but you have to know your limits as well.

The pic with Kale flirting with Kinley where Brody, in his dog suit is looking at Kale...is classic! I keep looking at it and cracking up at what I imagine Brody is 'saying' inside his head. lol Lovely updates sdhoey. Rory reminiscing about Tania was very bittersweet.

Brody: *exhales* Ahh fresh air. Finally out of school and ready for some fun.



Guy: Afternoon little guy,

Brody: Back at you mister. Have a good day.



That was kind of scary.

Brody: What?



You! Being nice to that man. Not like you.



Brody: Well, don't read anything into it. Let me do my exercises now.



Your mom is looking for you. She wants to help you with your homework.

Brody: Great.. I was enjoying the view and fresh air but if mom wants me then mom gets me.



Kinley: That's right sweetie, you divide the miles per hour by hours it takes the jet to travel from Sunset Valley to Newcrest. That will tell you how fast it was going.

Brody: Cool mom, how did you get so smart?

Kinley: By listening to my teachers and paying attention in class.



Brody: I had no clue my mom was so cool and smart.



Well you are just like your mom and dad, so that makes you smart too Brody.

Brody: Well I know I'm smart. But I'm nothing like them. Don't make me lose this game..



The next morning:


Hey bright eyes, ready for work today?

Kale: You bet, gotta get this rolling and get this job maxed out.



Kale: Time to water some plants for analyzing.



*whistling*



Kale: Time to upgrade the freeze ray for some good clean fun.



Kale: Not to much pressure, don't want to break it.



Kale: Now to make these people do some cleaning around here.



What you cloning?

Kale: Just some flora. Need some extra for serums.



Almost quitting time.

Kale: Let me finish this serum and we can go home.



Kale: Done, now to go and see what the fam is up too.






Destiny: Look at you bro, instead of Sims 3 you can be a T3 , rise of the nerd invaders. *snickers*

Kale: I love you too dork. How was Bond Land?



Destiny: Oh man, the guns and weapons we get to use in training are AWESOME!!! Grandpa would have fun.




Destiny: We watched a training video on how to fly a spy jet and it was soooo cool.




Listen to that, nothing but peace and quiet. finally something to keep them all quiet.

Rory: I just want to enjoy my dessert in some quiet.



Zoey: I wonder how long he is going to sulk? I mean Tania has been gone for months now.

Colt: Leave the boy alone. He will be fine.



Skye: Dad, he has been doing good lately but sometimes he just slips backwards. We are just concerned about him.



Colt: I know that, but it's a cycle, and you two have been thru it before. Remember? Now, eat up before she comes yelling.



All's quiet once again. I love the wellness skills.

Brody: Yes, I'm just doing my homework. Problem?



No, just last week you hated school and homework. Now you can't get enough.

Brody: Well, I need to learn somehow.



Colt: Hold the fort down while I'm at work woman.

The GodFather is off to work.



Music is the Brooks genes it looks like. Good job.



Brody: I hate it, it's for sissy's.



Brody: Poppop? Did you finish school?



Colt: Well son, no I didn't, but I wish I did. I might not have turned out as bad as I did. Education is important. What do you want to do with your life?




Brody: *thinks* Well I want to be a Professional Athlete, they are cool and make lots of money.

Colt: Well son, All your idols did get where they are without an education.



Brody: Really? I didn't know that poppop.

Colt: Oh yeah, they had to study and make good grades to get to where they are today.



Brody: *talking to self* Maybe pop pop is right. I need to be more serious about my grades and school ..
